I am a regular at this place since I live right down the street from the mall so I'm very disappointed and upset that I have to rate them 1 star John and Kevin are the sweetest and the best, Kim is always asking me to pay before she even starts my manicure.... okay, that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I usually go in once or twice a month to get a pedicure and a no chip for the past 2 months I have had to go back to the salon after a week to get something fixed last month I went in twice to get it fixed, the salon manager is a sweety he is always up to getting me fixed up but honestly it's beyond annoying and inconvenient. I run two real estate businesses and it's very inconvenient to be in a salon 3-4 times a month. That's why I get a no chip?  I just got a fresh no chip about a week ago and well... so much for a no chip.... it's literally just coming off my nail bed... I don't lift heavy things, I work at a desk and don't even do house chores (dishes, laundry) etc. so It baffles my mind that my no chip is not worth my money anymore. I went in for a no-chip manicure and pedicure last week because I was shopping at the mall and my regular salon is closed on Tuesday's.  After spending 3 hours in here because a couple fingers had to be redone as well as my toes completely needed to be redone...technician used too much oil causing the polish to cake on and not dry...I finally got to leave. The manager Johnny did not offer any apologies and was incredibly unprofessional with the conversation he was having in the salon.  I spent $100 on mani/pedi (tip included which has to be cash) and was offered nothing for my inconvenience and terrible service. I was so frustrated I just wanted to get out of there.  Not even 5 days later my no-chip was chipping and I had to go back to my regular salon to get a brand new manicure.  I could probably have come back here to have them redone but ultimately I would rather spend the money to have it done correctly then go back here just to be disappointed and frustrated again. The people are friendly but I was not pleased with my manicure and fill in. While doing my manicure she forgot to scrub one foot. She told me that one of my nails was cracked and thought it be best to super glue it down. When it came time for my fill in she didn't reshape all of my nails to look the same. I had two broken nails when she put on new acrylic she tried to not shape them like the other nail until I told her to fix it. I got no chip and less than a week later my polish chip. We were here Saturday and that night it felt like it was lifting. . It's Tuesday and 2 nails  have fell off and one was one that they put a new one on.Tried to charge $52 for a fill. Anna did an incredible job making me feel comfortable and pampered, especially as a relative newbie to spa things with pretty bad social anxiety. Love Love Love it here!!!!  I have been coming here for many years, but this was by far my favorite visit EVER!!!  I worked with Johnny, new manager, who introduced me to Dip Polish and I am mind blown!!   The results were fantastic and my nails feel so strong!  Props to Johnny for being so detailed and exact during the polishing portion!  He is extremely skilled. Yesterday was my first time here and I was a little hesitant based off the number of stars it's received. But I have to say I think they've been unjustly low balled. I personally had a great experience and plan to come again. Let me start by saying I arrived for a mani around 8:15pm (they close at 9pm). I was seated with a nail tech right away.. no fuss. Mylee performed my service and she did an AMAZING job on my no-chip. Andy was working next to her and I'll say he's highly recommended as well. I never felt rushed or pressured to hurry and leave. After sitting down and reading the recent reviews in the small waiting area of this salon I had reservations. My friend and I opted for the basic spa pedicure because I saw too many bad reviews for the more pricey pedicures and $60 for a bad pedicure is not what's up. I've had better $20 pedicures at a local Chicago neighborhood nail shop. The massage should have been omitted because it was short and just a tap on the legs and in order to rush you out they push you to get the buff shine so they don't have to polish your toenails. I got opted for the buff shine because I've never heard of it. Well let's just say I could have done everything I paid for at home. The decor is OK but the service is not worth the price. You're definitely just paying for the location. I wouldn't steer anyone away but don't go here balling out because you will be highly disappointed. This was by far the worst place I have ever gone too. I do not recommend. I had a male that didn't not cut my cuticles correctly. Kept telling me you don't have anything to cut and kept cutting and finding things. He moved my feet in an aggressive way for positioning. The massage was horrible and like he didn't even want to be there. The paint was decent. I was in therefor full mani pedi and eyebrows. He forgot to do the hot towel as well and when he remembered it was already cold. Beyond pissed. So I told the manager and she gives me someone. She did my nails and didn't do a good job. And kept giving excuses for what that guy did what he did or didn't do what he was supposed to do. I still ended up paying full price for horrible absolutely services. I visited this place on Tuesday (5 days ago) & spent $45 on an "aromatherapy pedicure" which I couldn't even smell. Aside from that, it was relaxing & I enjoyed it because the girl meticulously took care of my cuticles. That's where the good service ended. I thought my nails looked great until I looked closely & saw that the clear coat didn't cover all of the color so there were dull spots around the edges. It was very spotty effort. That's not even the worst of it... they started my no-chip while doing the pedicure which no high end nail salon should ever do because it's poor quality nails then. They're usually uneven & not fully cared for. Then the woman took over an hour. My friend who got the exact same services was done 30'minutes before me. She went to get lunch then came back. Not only that, but my nails chipped later that night so that was an hour of my day & another $45 down the drain. They were completely falling apart this morning with two nails already completely peeled up & catching on my hair. Overall, I paid $90 for a pedicure & no chip that I had to get redone 5 days later at another salon. What an absolute waste of time & money, so much for pampering myself. My friends and I decided to do impromptu pedicures a few days ago. The place seemed busy but they were able to accommodate us after a 30 min wait. At first, the appointment was going well until she began painting my nails, I realized she hadn't cut cuticles let alone push them back, nor has she trimmed my nails. At this point she had took off my old nail polish, scrubbed the bottom of my feet and began reapplying a new coat. When I was done, I just so happened to check my phone and realized my pedicure was 20 minutes. My friend who bought the same type of pedicure hadn't even started getting her nails painted. Seems as if some of the workers are too quick. By the time I paid, my nail tech had already moved on to the next customer. I have been going to Anthony Vince for close to 5 years. In the last 4 to 6 months, the quality has gone way down quickly. The last time I was there to have my pink and white fill done, the technician went down to my nail bed with the instrument and the nail job looked just bad. I went somewhere else 10 days after the fill. They had to remove all 10 acrylics and start from scratch. I do hope that this review helps Anthony Vince to get their act together as they will be losing clientele (even if its only for their acrylics/gel nails). Called to make an appointment two hours ahead of time they told me 330 I told them 340 and they said it was fine. Waited 20 minutes in store just for them to tell us another 10-15 minutes. Two ladies walked in after us with no appointment told them 5-10. Don't go here they waste your time. They will say anything to get you to wait and give them money. Only accept cash tips their ATM was down both times I tried to go to this place. Idk if he was the manager but the guy was extremely rude and tried to blame the receptionist. Sooooo....This is not your mini mall chop shop type of nail salon that's on every corner.I have been coming her for many years and not once have I had a bad experience.They have long time employees that always remember you and provide consistent great service. HORRIBLE rushed job and I got blamed! I visited them for a birthday manicure and pedicure on a Thursday night! They offered to do my manicure and pedicure at the same time due to it being close to closing! Well, my nail polish began to thicken, so my manicurist, John stepped away I thought to add oil or another product to thin the nail polish! The pedicurist followed stepping away a couple times to do the same thing. I left shortly after 9:00 pm. As soon as I got home, I noticed that the polish around my cuticles were orange and my actual nail beds were red. I quickly realized that John did not add any thinning agent to the nail polish I selected, he added the other color (red) I was undecided about to the polish I chose. The following morning, I called the manger Jake the following and emailed him pictures. Jake said he would have someone follow-up with me the same day. I heard nothing that day or the days to follow, I had to follow-up with Jake the following Tuesday! Jake said someone would follow-up by the end of the day, and I heard nothing. The following day, Kelly the Directors of Operations told me the color discoloration was due to use of everyday household products. I told her that was highly unlikely considering I literally traveled home, stepped in different lighting and saw the extreme difference. Kelly went on to tell me, that refunds were not apart of their policy, although the pictures clearly show the differences of the two colors. I told her it was a matter of her staff rushing to leave for the evening and providing a quick fix to the solution without them having to redo my nails and feet. I find it highly unlikely that her staff being allowed to rush and use two different colors when running out of one is apart of their work policy. I normally try to give a place the benefit of the doubt but they really could have done better. The receptionist was super nice & what beautiful decor. I also liked how clean it was.I wasn't too impressed with the person who did my pedicure, Kim. She wasn't very friendly & that's Ok. All I need is for $32 & a tip = $40 do a good job, I don't require you to kiss up to me, just do a good job. Frankly she did a S$!t job. My toes are all clipped unevenly rather than straight across. She didn't trim all my skin & I'll have to do that myself. I think she got annoyed when I asked her to super trim my toes... I tried to explain to her that I run and walk alot (3-8 miles a day) and my toes tend to hit the toe box of my shoes... ruins a pedicure but also causes toenail damage. I think she was got a little more annoyed on top of that I didn't understand her asking me what service level I wanted for the pedicure. Maybe she speaks English, maybe not, but I could not understand her (I grew up in the city & speak Pigeon English fluently to the point I translate for others). Honestly - learn the phrase for the upsell & don't get annoyed when someone does not get your gesturing towards a upsell list I put my purse on. Maybe pull it out & show me if English is a problem. I thought she was asking me about the color I brought my own.On the way out:  I forgot my polish at her station and she had a weird vibe like I was trying to steal a jar of nail polish. Ummm way ahead of you & that is why I painted the top of the cap to show it is mine.She also left nail polish on my skin. Not like a little but 5 toes & a big drag mark on my big toe. To top it off I have 1 big toe missing a bit of color while there is too much on one side. & a few other toes are missing a full coat evenly. So glad I brought my own nail polish. Which I forgot at her station and she was completely skeptical it was my own... for that reason I had painted the top to show it's mine not the salons. Normally I would have noticed the issues right away, but I was busy having a great time chatting with a good friend. Would I go back - no - not if they offered me her again as I felt ripped off  - though to refuse her & ask for someone else would be a bit awkward... so a no again. Looking at my girlfriends toes they looked great & her pedicurist seemed really into it & nice (her name was Emily). I think it was just a fluke I got the chick who was hating her workday & job & perhaps me.I'm not hating on the place - just my experience. I just had my nails done by Dianna and she did a great job! She was very detailed, thorough, and very nice. The salon is kept very clean, the entire staff is very nice and their color selection is one of the best in the area. The prices are definitely a little more than I would like to pay, but I truly think it's worth it. Specifically their pedicures are worth every penny! Not really the salon type, I usually just do my own nails, but I researched to find a good salon because I'm such a germaphobe and this one popped up! It's actually located inside Oakbrook Mall, just around the corner from Cali. Pizza Kitchen. This place is busy, call ahead for an appt. It's very large and spacious. I really liked the decor and everything looked very clean. I got a pedicure, they have gorgeous foot baths with crystal blue water and massage chairs which felt soo good. I saw the lady clean it thoroughly right in front of me. They give you a complimentary water bottle which was a small, but nice touch to make you feel pampered. I forgot my lady's name, but she was very good. Friendly, didn't talk too much (I'm not much of a talker in these situations). She gave a nice foot massage, wrapped my legs in a hot towel, and painted my toe's well. Prices were also pretty reasonable which will make me go back. I had a very nice, relaxing experience.
