So here is the long and short of it all. I had been going to this salon for some time now. However in the not so distant past I overheard that they prefer to do nails for women of color. I have absolutely no problem with this except they do it because they charge more to these customers. I have been going to Regal Nails for years.  I have had to go to a couple of other places, but the quality and service have never compared.  Tina makes whatever idea I bring her work beautifully!!!!  The price is great and the get lasts me around a month!  I did something fun for Easter and love it!!!  I highly recommend them!!! They did a horrible job on my nails and eyebrows! Only 2 nail techs, and they were rushing so much, my full set gel nails looked about a week old., the overlay doesn't even reach my cuticles. Then they polished them the wrong color after I told them both I wanted orange, they gave me black!! And were like why didn't you say something, I did! They don't listen😠😠 my eyebrows are still uneven as well. The only reason I didn't make them start over was because I had to get my kids from school. Worse $47 I've ever spent!! If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I went in to get my eyebrows waxed. I'm prego and have let them go for most of the pregnancy. I sat down and told the lady I just want them shaped up and not thin. Well she waxes them very quickly and hands me the mirror... they are TINY and straight with no shape and lop sided!! Being overly hormonal I almost immediately begin to cry and say they are SO small. She said nothing so I paid my $7 for the wax and did not leave a tip. She gave me the dirtiest look. Owner refused to fix my nails properly had them gel painted on the 21st...they started peeling off on the 23rd called they said they would fix it they just filled my nails down to nothing and said fixed bye. Next day feeling worse called the owner she yelled at me on the phone saying your nails are two weeks old I told her I have a receipt shows the 21st and the guy did not fix them properly the owner called me a lier on the phone....poor service...run you through like cattle never again.. This is the only place in the area I have found to do a decent job since moving here. I've tried just about every salon in the area. The only complaint I have is how much the cost increased. I stopped going for about 3 months and the prices have gone up about 50% from what I was paying. I also get charged for nail removal when I go back and need a full set after so many fills. Tina has been doing my nails for MANY years. She is very professional, personable and talented. She attends many different training seminars to upgrade her skills. I will never patronize this place again! I actually enjoyed being service here BUT after what I experienced on Sat 6/17 NEVER AGAIN!!! I arrive at 11:45 for a fill in and pedi I waited approximately 2 1/2 hours before I was seen. The part of this whole ordeal that put me in a perturbed manner was... the favoritism amongst regular patrons and the fact that I was bluntly lied to about the service and the waiting procedure! Need I say I had a 4:00 pm wedding to attend that I missed because of Tina stupidity of deciding not to service me because I didn't want a full set of nails and question her about the 2 1/2 hour delay!!!!!!!!! One of the guys (a young man) probably no license sat me down to start the service but Tina continued to do other things and did not begin my service until 2:30pm and I exploded.!!!! WITHOUT REMORSE! I normally go here to get my nails and eyebrows done but the last few times have been so disappointing between not enough staff to deal with customers getting nails done, and more staff doing pedicures. To rude employees who barely speak to you. But my latest was last Saturday went to get my nails done and they look awful, she did not do acrylic to the base of my nail so you can still my old growth. And she cut me and made me bleed twice. I pointed out I was unhappy with my nails and all she was put stuff on the bleeding to stop it from bleeding. Then the polish I chose a light peach and I told her it needed a third coat because you can still see through my nails and she did nothing to fix that either. Very upsetting Read Less
