I just had a pedi at Magic Nails & Spa. Tammy did a fantastic job. This establishment is very clean and I love it that they use an autoclave and disposable tools.  I already have my next appointment scheduled :-)  Please know you should definitely plan to be on time. The website does specifically say if you are more than 5 minutes late you may have to reschedule. As for the demeanor of Lee, I wonder how much of it is cultural differences versus rudeness. I found Lee to be friendly today and I watched him speak with many other clients and treated them professionally as well.  My advice is to go in and at least give this place a try. I have been a regular customer of Magic Nails and Spa since right around Valentines Day of this year.The staff is great, but the manager/appointment taker, Lee, is pretty awful. He is rude, unprofessional, insensitive, and not a people person AT ALL. I was able to look past that until recently.I made an appointment for August 5 a couple weeks ahead of time to redo my dip polish and for my mom to get a pedicure; gave them my name and number as usual. I thought I made the appointment for 3:30.I arrived at 3:20 and was told that my appointment was at 3, not 3:30. There were only 3 customers in the shop at that time. Two of them were almost done and one was still soaking their nails to get their dip redone. One of the workers was sitting, not doing anything. I asked if we could just be considered a walk in then. Lee just kept saying nope, your appointment was at 3. Did not offer to reschedule. Did not offer to see if they would be able to get me in another time. Just stared at me like I was a moron and turned my mom and I away.I was also a little confused as to why he didn't call me at 3 when I wasn't there yet, based on how few people were even in the salon. I only live a mile or two down the road. What's the point of taking down a phone number if you don't utilize it?I made a Facebook review about the situation, but I loved the girl who did my nails so I made another appointment with her and decided to look past his treatment.On August 15, I received a phone call from the manager, Lee, threatening to cancel any future appointments if I didn't remove my Facebook review. He did not try to make the situation better. Did not apologize. Just demanded I remove my review by the weekend or he was going to cancel my appointment. The only reason I kept going after poor treatment by Lee was because of the wonderful staff. I was a committed customer, but will be taking my business elsewhere.Based on the numerous other complaints about Lee, it's pretty obvious Magic Nails and Spa would be a much better salon with a manager/appointment taker that actually cared about their customers. Got a last minute appointment for a pedicure, selected the Deluxe (time only allotted for that) remarkable service from Victor, he was knowledgeable about why I had some pain in my bigger toes (harden skin next to toe nail) provided me with relief and a very sarcastic humor. WRONG!!!!!!I walked in and with no other customers in site the man behind the counter said for me to sign in and I said I just wanted to make an appt. He said "you sit down and we take care of"....Ok, so I sat down and waited...and waited.....and waited.....after about 15 minutes had passed and he had nothing else to do and was ignoring me, I walked out.....This is undoubtedly the worst customer service I have ever encountered.....I would never recommend this facility and I see I am not the only one with that feeling!Too bad there is no "zero" stars....they would have to come up quite a lot in their customer service to get even that! This is one of the absolutely best places for the service they provide. However; I just cannot patronize this place anymore & I have been going for years. Lee, manager and probable owner, is absolutely the rudest individual I have ever encountered. I believe being rude gives him a sense of power, I don't know what. This is not the first time he has been rude, but it is the last. Vincent and Lee are excellent techs. Vincent is my favorite because Lee is such a heavy smoker, the smell actually nauseates me at times. My favorite salon, but will not patronize anymore due to Lee's attitude. I've been coming here for a gel manicure and regular pedicure for a couple months now. I like their work, I haven't had any complaints on how my nails turn out. The manager lacks a few social skills and I've read reviews about him being rude. I don't think he's intentionally rude but to each their own. I think he does a good job scheduling appointments though, I've never had to wait more than about 5 minutes to be seen (with an appointment). The waxing of the feet in the massage chair feels wonderful but it's pretty time consuming so I usually skip it. Reason why I'm giving it 3 stars is because there is one technician that I've heard bad mouthing a client to me and other clients around and she waxed one of my eyebrows thinner than the other one and wouldn't take responsibility for it. I'm new to the area, and have been going here a couple weeks, and absolutely love it! I hear that they recently moved locations, and the place they are at now is gorgeous. The salon is incredibly clean, and everyone has been very friendly. The pedicure was amazing, and has lasted weeks. As for my nails, I had recently gotten a horrible acrylic job at a different salon in town, and made the horrible decision to file them off on my own. Well, I definitely over filed, because my nails were down to nothing when I came to make the appointment here. They suggested dipping powder to give my nails a break from acrylic, and so far I am loving it. I am so happy that the salon made a suggestion to help me rather than letting me continue to ruin my nails with acrylics. The only downside is you definitely need to make an appointment. I love Magic nails & spa. they are very professional to the nails. This place also has got stone massage for manicure, or pedicure, so I can relax when I come here to do my nails and massage. They take care the customers friendly. Magic nails & spa have full quality to do nails. Read Less
