I have been a regular customer of Magic Nails and Spa since right around Valentines Day of this year.The staff is great, but the manager/appointment taker, Lee, is pretty awful. He is rude, unprofessional, insensitive, and not a people person AT ALL. I was able to look past that until recently.I made an appointment for August 5 a couple weeks ahead of time to redo my dip polish and for my mom to get a pedicure; gave them my name and number as usual. I thought I made the appointment for 3:30.I arrived at 3:20 and was told that my appointment was at 3, not 3:30. There were only 3 customers in the shop at that time. Two of them were almost done and one was still soaking their nails to get their dip redone. One of the workers was sitting, not doing anything. I asked if we could just be considered a walk in then. Lee just kept saying nope, your appointment was at 3. Did not offer to reschedule. Did not offer to see if they would be able to get me in another time. Just stared at me like I was a moron and turned my mom and I away.I was also a little confused as to why he didn't call me at 3 when I wasn't there yet, based on how few people were even in the salon. I only live a mile or two down the road. What's the point of taking down a phone number if you don't utilize it?I made a Facebook review about the situation, but I loved the girl who did my nails so I made another appointment with her and decided to look past his treatment.On August 15, I received a phone call from the manager, Lee, threatening to cancel any future appointments if I didn't remove my Facebook review. He did not try to make the situation better. Did not apologize. Just demanded I remove my review by the weekend or he was going to cancel my appointment. The only reason I kept going after poor treatment by Lee was because of the wonderful staff. I was a committed customer, but will be taking my business elsewhere.Based on the numerous other complaints about Lee, it's pretty obvious Magic Nails and Spa would be a much better salon with a manager/appointment taker that actually cared about their customers.
