Change of ownership has caused a decline in service and quality. I was here recently for a no-chip and the service took a full 2 hours. I had a scheduled appointment and waited 30 minutes for my service to start.A friend had a vinyl lux polish and they accidentally put no-chip top coat on top and she had to come back since her nails were still sticky an hour later. I'm really sad; this used to be my go to nail salon. However the salon has new owners-- about 3 months ago-- March 2016-- I'd guess and it shows. It's gone from an A to an F in my book. The manicures and pedicures are now subpar. Down and dirty, get them out the door --fast and nothing special. The massage lasts two minutes. Literally I felt like not one of the employees enjoyed their job. It's a whole different vibe from the cheery, happy salon that I've been to sizes of times. Last week I went in for a mani pedi. They asked if the could do both at once. Great. The staff chats in a different language throughout the service. Fine. But the lady doing my pedicure was interrupted about 5 times to answer the phone or help customers check out. It was very annoying. Then someone walks in and asks for gel nails with no appointment and she can't wait. The woman doing my nails, starts doing her nails, and the pedicure lady has to finish mine. I'm upset-- I really used to love this salon. The decor used to be cute and very clean. Now it's not. There are terrible hand written signs, ugly plants and a old dog that runs around. The Read Less

Unfortunately, when I went in this past weekend, not only was I rushed but the lady who did my nails used the same cuticle clipper on my fingers and then my friends... without ever sanitizing them!  All I could think of was... who else has she used these clippers on before me- without sanitizing?  Also, the manicure I got was nothing special- I honestly probably could have done a better job myself. I will not ever come back here due to the owner...literally asked me to change my tip money to 20%...I was in complete shock and the nice person I am I changed it. I've never in all the years been to a salon have been told to give more if I feel like the service I got was was nothing spectacular. Read Less

I chose this salon since I was having lunch nearby and was not disappointed. I usually use gel polish but the color I wanted was in shellac so decided to try that. I also had a broken nail that needed fixed. So three weeks later my nails still look great! The fix on the broken nail has held and they are all still  shiny and bright. The texture of my nails was a little tacky for the first day or two which bothered me a little but then it went away. I will definitely go here again if I am in the area. Read Less

I came here because of the outstanding Yelp reviews. Thanks to all who wrote such helpful reviews!My technician was very skilled and precise, two things necessary for a professional manicure. It is getting harder to find a great looking manicure but you will get one here.The price is very reasonable and worth every penny.  They have a little boutique and sell some clothes and accessories.They are open until 5pm on Sundays, which is an hour later than their Yelp page says. Stumbled upon this nail salon/spa/clothing jewelry boutique after a stop at Mariano's one afternoon. I did not have an appointment but they were able to accommodate me. The ladies working here were the most friendly and pleasant out of any I've encountered. Had a great manicure that lasted for a full week . They do have a small selection of women's clothing & jewelry. Some of it is custom made (come to find out the owner also runs boutique reform in Glencoe - she did a great job tailoring my husband's tuxedo but that is for another review ;)I wold definitely call ahead next time and schedule an appointment as they had a steady stream of people coming in - even at 4 pm on a weekday. It can be hard to see the entrance from the construction on Willow but you enter from the parking lot behind the building.I will definitely be back! Happy to find a great nail salon in the area.
