It was his first time in a nail salon and was very pleased with how large the salon was. Also with the amazing time and quality the technician put into both procedures. I used to love this place before it changed hands. I got a gel fill today and made an appointment. I showed up on time but still had to wait 40 minutes! If I'm a walk-in I understand, but i think they should make sure to honor the appointment. The prices were higher than I'm used to, but the staff was friendly, and he did a very nice job. Requested a fill, no chip nail polish and jewels on my ring fingers. The customer service, nail shape and polish looked great. After a few days some of the jewels came off and the no chip started chipping. I went in for a no charge repair. They fixed the problem!  After a couple of days the same no chip repaired nails chipped again along with the others that were not retouched!  I've had no chip before and was familiar with the product brand that was used. Therefore I must conclude that either their product is old or their nail tech is subpar either way I WILL NOT be returning! Read Less

I normally love this place but today experience was not as good.Sandy is on vacation. Andy was asked to do my nails he did not want to, he gave me the quickest no chip with no care.He never spoke or even said thank you.He had previously done my nails and I returned because my no chip , chipped.He was not happy that the owner had to do my nails.I would have preferred not to have him do them considering his bad attitude. I have been coming here for the last year and I will continue to do so. The place is always clean, you are always greeted with a smile, and they always make sure that each and every one of their customers is satisfied with their nails/toes before they leave. Their pedicures have to be some of the best I've ever had, very relaxing and the nail technicians take their time. There is a huge selection of no-chip polishes and also of the new "dip" products. (I just tried it this past visit and let me say, I am a fan! It's somewhat like the no-chip manicure but it makes your nail a little stronger, which helps prevent any breakage). If you're looking for a clean salon with great customer service, this is your place to go. Another huge plus is that Taco Madre is next door so you can get some tacos after getting your nails done. I even had hand painted palm trees with the sun on my toes! Check out the SNS Dipping powder, they look natural and last longer than gel polish. They have over 150 colors to choose from. I have been getting my nails for about 6 months now. I have tried a few different places and my nails needed to be repaired all the time. The price was right with others but after you keep going back and paying well not really a good deal. I started going to Tip to Toes because my daughter talked so highly of the business. I used to go every 2-3 weeks because of breakage and just getting ugly. I pay a little more now however my nails are solid. I go about every 3 weeks to get them filled. I bowl and my nails stay on, even at the 3 week part. Sorry to all that didn't like the price but you DO get what you pay for. If you want cheap go somewhere else. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and I love that they line the tubs with fresh plastic liners for every customer and their tools are in sterile packaging.  Holly is the best!  She is very attentive to detail and never disappoints. The only word of advice I would give to anyone, is don't bother with an appointment if you think an appointment will guarantee you a secure time.  With this type of walk in business, an appointment is more of a wish, than a guaranteed time.  After a horrible infection at a salon within walking distance, I am so grateful to have found Tips 2 Toes! I think if I could give this a half star or even no stars I probably would! I went to this salon for the first time a few weeks ago for a dipping powder manicure, which they advertise here on their page. When I got there the girl came up to the front desk even though I was clearly inconveniencing her while she was on her phone. When I explained to her what I wanted she was pretty much clueless and one of the other ladies getting her nails done had to tell them what I wanted......it was so strange. I thought I had communicated it effectively but maybe not. I then asked for a color that was light, essentially between a pink and a white. The owner or manager came up to assist us in this process. She picked out a color and I asked her if it would dry lighter than the bright pink that it looked in the container. She assured me it would so I took her word for it. She then took me back to start the whole process. During which I had to question her method a couple of times. This was not the first time I had had this process done so I was familiar with it and she wasn't doing it like every other place. It was literally the fastest manicure I had ever had. Even one of the other ladies had a look on her face, she knew something wasn't right. Then the color ended up drying lighter alright! So light that it was basically clear! I then went to pay for the worlds fastest manicure only to be told that I can't add a tip on to my credit card charge. Well unfortunately right before that I had just spent what cash I had left on me. I guess it was par for the course anyhow. Fast forward to 4 days later when the "polish" is already lifting! Every other time this stuff has lasted on my nails for well over 3-4 weeks! And I hadn't done anything differently than any other time. In hindsight I probably should have just spoken up at the time but I was so over all of it and just wanted to get out of there. Seems like an ok place. I decided to try it out since it's the only nail salon in the area with decent reviews. I came on a Thursday morning, it was packed, I was the fourth person waiting, after 15 mins I decided to leave and make an appt for the following day at 3pm. Came back 3pm the next day for my appt, waited for 15 mins before they sat me in a pedicure chair where I continued to wait an additional 15 mins before my pedicure started!!! So if you have time I guess this place could work for you, but to wait 30 mins with an appointment is too ridiculous for me. I will continue the search for my regular go to salon. Read Less

Wow! This is my new nail place! I was going to a different one for about 4years. But the past 2times have not been happy. After reading reviews I thought I would try this place. I did a deluxe ($37) no chip ($25) pedi. Could not be happier! Feel so pampered and they did wonders on my ingrown toenails! I always feel pampered when I come here. Great place for a manicure. I typically get no chip and each time I go they really take their time to make sure my nails are flawless. Just this last time I went for a pre-birthday for my sister and they were very accommodating. We didn't have to wait and they made sure we were still able to sit close together. Just got the basic pedicure with sea,salt scrub as an add on. The basic includes hot stone massage, which is nice. The guy who did my pedicure took care and time. My toes look great! Big thing for me here, I watched him take every instrument he used put of sterile pouches and the foam sandals and toe dividers were opened fresh as well, most places don't do this. I came in on 7/8/16 to get a no chip fill and the Vanessa did a great job. She shaped them well and was quick. The issue that I ran into was when she offered me to sign up for the reward  program. I put all my info in, she charged me $35 and I tipped her $5. I checked my account a few hours  later $48 came out of my account. I called and they said to come in the next day which is a  huge incontinence for me. I came in and no one spoke clear English or understood the issue. Finally after explaining my issue to three people they understood. They knew they  were having issues with the machine but still had it up and running. There was no sign explaining anything. She took my info and said she was going to call me back on Sunday but didn't. I checked my account on Monday 7/11/16 and the $8 was credited to my account. I called her and made her aware and express my issue, she did nothing to resolve the issue, didn't offer no money off next service or sounded empathize. Came for a pedicure, left with a soon to be infected toe. People were ok friendly, massage chairs were nice. High pressure sales. And that thing where now my toe is red and swollen. Also, huge pretty peeve, they didn't paint the tip of my nails. It's in the name!! Read Less

Been going here for two years now never had a problem. Got a pink n white Tuesday by somebody new. My nails are super thin an already falling off!!! Just went to get nail fixed an the manager was careless did my nail an made it super thicker then the rest didn't even use drill to even it out!! I am be on pissed I spent 55$ an still not happy!!! I asked the nice nail technician to paint watermelons and she definitely delivered. This place is a little pricey but they do a great job! They have 8 pedi chairs and many stations so there is not a long wait at all for your services to be done. Read Less

Honestly this place is just money hungry and that's what gets them the bad review. As a grad school student, I don't have a lot of money to spend on myself. One of my indulgences are acrylic nails. I usually get them filled for around $14-17. I will let them grow out when I'm too broke and paint over them to hide said growth. I'm serious about my nail game, but as I said before, it's hard out here for a 20-something year old! I used to go here occasionally when I lived closer but stopped because they were constantly adding hidden charges or trying to up-sell. Stuff's annoying! I went here a few days ago with a friend who had a gift card (for herself, not me, mind you!) I asked about pricing and made it clear I was relieved when she said it was $16 for a fill. The girl who was manning the front desk quickly removed my old polish, cut my nails with clippers, and filed them a little to prep me for the guy who would do the actual fill. She kept tugging on one pinky nail saying it was loose so I should get a new set. First off, I've been getting acrylics for 4+ years now.. I know when it's time for a new set. It definitely wasn't time yet. They were very outgrown but in great shape. I told her I couldn't afford a new set. Honestly she could've just filed it down with the dremmel a little. It was only the end that was slightly loose and could easily be repaired. She kept saying to the guy that she thought I needed a new set and he looked at them twice (interrupting his current clients service.... Sorry girl) and said they looked great. I told her again I couldn't afford a new set this time. She ripped off the nail and glued a new tip on. Whatever. So later as I'm paying the total is now $21 instead of $16. Sat whaaa?! So I asked if the $5 was for the nail repair and she that was $2 and cutting them shorter was $3. Ummm what?! Since when does it cost money to get your nails shorter?! I would've clipped them myself before coming in! It had been a long day so I paid, but that $5 came out of their tips. Definitely will never be back. That's just poor customer service and lack of respect for customers. They get 2 stars because all that being said, my nails look nice. However I didn't see any of their tools being cleaned or PROPERLY autoclaved and I saw them double/triple dipping in their wax. Yuck! Read Less

When Tips to Toes opened up about 7-10 years ago I went to try them out.  They messed my cuticles up so bad I never went back until about a month or two ago because my sister likes getting her pedicures done at Tips 2 Toes.  So I figured I'd give it another shot.The guy at table #2 did my nails.  He took his time and asked me a lot about what I liked and disliked while sculpting and filing my nails. Fast forward I come back for a fill and he's not there so I settle for the girl at table #1. The girl at table #1 needs to be knocked off her high horse.  She's fake - friendly acting and rude and she totally rushed giving me a fill and didn't do a good job at all.  I was open to continuing to go here even after she messed up my nails because the guy at table #2 does a great job.  So I go back in again and he's not there and I'd be d@**ed to let the girl at table #1 touch my hands again.Overall go to AQ nails.  They're up the street and do a better job! Last night I went to Tips 2 Toes Nails for a pedicure after reading the great reviews. It did not disappoint! They had an excellent variety of colors to choose from, and the place was really clean and friendly. I was immediately greeted and the gentleman doing my pedi waited patiently as I chose a color. Everyone was really friendly, and I found myself in conversation with my pedicurist, 2 ladies next to me, and their pedicurists. Now, as far as the actual pedicure, dare I say it was the best I've ever had. My feet were a total mess, and I was borderline embarrassed to even be letting someone touch them. My pedicurist spent time cleaning, scraping, and massaging. I think it also was the longest pedi I've ever had. You could tell that he actually wanted to make sure my feet looked awesome, and wasn't just going through the motions. This is officially my pedicure place.
