I never wrote reviews unless it's worth it, and my friends Magic Nails is worth it. Magic nails is my new nail place! I walked in and they took me in right away (keep in mind I did come in the middle of the day on a Wednesday). It is very spacious and clean! The salon has a modern yet minimalist approach. Very high tech. First salon i been to that has a usb in the chair for charging purposes and the massage chair isn't a remote, it is built in the chair and their lights in their manicure stations have fans and USBs built in. Nikki offered water or hot tea as soon as I sat in. Not only is it clean it has genuine workers. My nails on my feet and hands look great! And that massage is a REAL massage. During my pedicure i had legit 5 mins on each leg where i know other places just go up and down few times and call it a day. When i had my no chip down while i was waiting for it to dry I got a back massage. I love it! They also have many many pedicure chairs perfect for a bridal party to get their nails done here (when the time comes I know where I will be taking mine).It is a bit pricey for me but totally worth it. I am used to 20 dollar pedicures and 15 dollars manis but their prices are reasonable! It was 30 for my pedicure and 50 for my no chip full set. I wanted designs so there was a 10 dollars charge which makes sense so that comes up to be $90 total. Linh Linh and Kevin did a great job and Nikki the owner I believe is kind an courteous. She checked with my if my nails were okay. During my time there I also saw multiple technicians work on one client because she came during her lunch. From what i saw, they provided her great service. I almost didn't want to write a review because I want this to be a hidden gem ;)I've been to 4 surrounding nail places and none of them even come close to comparison.  Magic Nails is AMAZING!  Not only does the staff treat you like royalty, but the services (I.e. back massage during nails, menu of pedicure options, etc.) provide that little extra value that makes it worth going.  My no chip lasts a week longer than any other place I've been to.  That in itself is a value!My only advice is to make an appointment! It gets busy and they truly do honor your appointment.  Walk-ins will have to wait while you breeze right in.  I'm planning to book out some services for my birthday with some friends.  Can't wait to show this place off. Great experience and enjoyed my appointment. Spacious and tidy Spa. Excellent selection of polishes, both traditional and no chip.  Nail techs were friendly and social, very efficient!  A different practice here than other nail salons I've been to:  my nail tech after she groomed my nails, I had a small shoulder massage.  I also did not rinse hands at the nearby sink. I was a little hesitant to change nail salons at first after reading some of the negative reviews on here. And I’ll admit that my first experience wasn’t the best (I now attribute this to the fact that I was a walk in during the Christmas rush). But I politely and privately contacted Kim to let her know that I wasn’t entirely happy. She was so lovely and understanding and the problem was fixed the next day. Ever since, my experience has been nothing but pleasant! The girls ar...e all so lovely, so friendly and accommodating, they are fast but good at their work. I have super sensitive cuticles and they have been so gentle, no waiting for cuts to clear to take pics to show them off! And you are absolutely spoiled for choice with colours, artwork, you name it! The shop is clean, chairs super comfortable and it’s always easy to book an appointment. I always look forward to coming in for a bit of relaxing pampering. I come to this location every 2-3 weeks because it's close to my work for a no chip manicure.  I love this place.  I have never had an experience that I wasn't happy with.  When I have gotten my nails done at other salons, the no-chip doesn't always last 2 weeks.  These last the full 2 weeks and look great! I really liked this nail salon. It's clean, the staff is nice. I got a no chip, and the gentleman that did my nails was a perfectionist, which I LOVED because my nails look flawless. I treated my brother to a man manicure because his fingers were looking crusty, and the lady that fixed his nails did a phenomenal job. He was nervous that his nails would look "too feminine" or "too done" or that they would want to put clear nail polish lol...none of that, she just cleaned him up. My nail salon had closed without notice and I wanted to get my nails done before the holidays. There are many nail salons in Naperville and I am super picky about cleanliness and hygiene. I liked the reviews of this place and it's close to my house. I requested an appointment via Yelp and they got back to me right away for an appointment for the next day.I was super impressed with this salon. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive and offered me a hot tea which is a lovely thing on a cold day to enjoy. I received a pedicure and a no-chip manicure and I was very happy with my service and my nails and feet. Perfect job, very clean and great service! this place feels brand new.  super clean and organized.  Was greeted as soon as I entered and they immediately had me pick out a color.  My friend wanted a pedicure and I wanted a manicure.  So they set us up in two pedi chairs so we could keep talking and then the technician did my nails standing up.  So kind of them to go out of their way to do my nails there so that I could hang with my friend.  I really appreciated that.  the manicure lasted me for over a week - which is insanely impressive since I'm really hard on my hands.  would definitely go back to this place next time i'm in town. This place............... Apologies....I had to pause for a moment to take in and cherish how great my experience was. I don't even know where to begin. Let me just start by saying I'm a long time Magic Nail customer. I frequent the location in Willowbrook. I saw the Magic Nail sign driving down Route 59 on my way home. My eyes lit up! Partially because I did not realize they had a Naperville location, but also because my nails were tips at this point with a dyer fill-in needed. I was warmly greeted when I entered by Nicki, the manager. The interior looks very luxurious and beautiful. Very clean and brand new. They mentioned being open for 7 weeks. I was short on time and was able to get a no chip fill and pedicure at the same time, which automatically gains  extra extra points when that service is available to save time. Ron did an amazing job on my nails. I have a gel overlay with no chip, which can often look like chicklet nails when done poorly. Ron did amazing thinning out the layers making them look stunningly natural. Lee Lee did my pedicure, which I wasn't going to even get by the way, but did when they offered to do at the same time. I just got a pedicure about a week and a half ago that was not even worth mentioning. Lee Lee went to town on my feet. I don't even have bad feet, but she was attending to detail and hitting crevasses like never before. It was the most thorough well executed pedicure I have ever had. Plus an extended massage was included. Needless to say, this place was nothing short of AMAZING! (Please stay that way!) Must visit nail shop if you live near or simply don't mind driving. If there was zero star, I would give this nail place. I went in a couple of weeks ago for the first time to do a no chip pedicure. This was supposed to be a new place with better quality products and I went. Even with a 20% off my bill ended up at almost $70 for JUST the no chip (turned out to be cheap no chip) pedicure they gave me. The pedicure started chipping from the first few days but because of my extremely busy schedule I was hoping I could carry it for at least a whole month. It turned so ugly and bad that I wanted to stop last Friday the 20th but I finally squeezed in the time to stop today. The humiliation I experienced was totally unprecedented. The girls didn't believe me and the receptionist stopped short of slapping me when he was saying" this is the last time you will come in and say your pedicure was bad and all the gibberish... they talked in their language rudely giving me the bad eye as if it was my first pedi and first no chip. The guy at the reception was so aggressive I felt he could slap me if I was a little closer. Please don't go and waste your money as I did in this place. It is in a new location but I think they are the same Magic nails across the road. The staff is extremely rude. I am in customer service and I cannot imagine humiliating a customer after over $70 and barely 2 to 3 weeks of no chip that has been chipping from week 1, my only fault being my lack of time to show them their incompetence. They are rude and incompetent and their only differentiator is that they put plastic in the bowl before each $70 pedicure. I was humiliated over my money by these ignorant fools who kept speaking their language while giving me the look after taking my $70 plus pedi only money plus tip. They could have just said sorry after all the polish is barely $5.00 as they won't exhaust I whole bottle on a customer. Naperville women stay away from this overpriced rude and incompetent folks. Clean and employees are really attentive. I got a fill and am definitely impressed. I wanted to make a future appointment with the same technician, Kelly, but was told she was only a temp as she is family and lives in another state. Total bummer! I probably should know better by now that you can't tip at a card at nail salons, but since this was my first time here I wasn't sure. They did not give me that option when I paid. Booked an appointment for 11, they didn't start doing my nails till 20 past. John made me feel really uncomfortable with personal questions. I was in there for 2 hrs and he did a terrible job on the shape of my nails. Very annoyed i paid for such bad service. Wont ever be going again and will be passing on my experience. Read Less
