I had a tiny issue with my manicure went back and the owners daughter in law was so nice and fixed it. I felt bad going back to complain she made me so comfortable about it. Got a pedicure as well. Love that they all were very friendly and speak to you like you are important. And there was very little talking happening that I couldn't understand. They spoke to each other in English. Great place! They are always busy so it's advisable to make an appointment. They recently remodeled including all new pedicure chairs. The owners are always very friendly and accommodating. BEWARE OF NEW OWNERS. I have been a Lee Nails customer for 25 years. I've frequented the Morris location since it was built probably about 15 years ago. Today after soaking in acetone for 20 minutes my fingers were tingling and pure white and I asked Carson to go get the gentleman that had put me in the soak. He came back up and told me it had not been 10 minutes. I informed him that I had sent a text as I was walking to his table which was over 20 minutes ago. Carson, who I find out now is the new owner's daughter, proceeded to tell me that it had not been 20 minutes. I showed her the text and said that time stamps don't lie. She informed me that I could take my business elsewhere. The gentleman that was doing my nails told her to stop snapping on me but she continued telling me that I was a waste of her breath and that everybody that comes here is happy with the services. I told her that it was between me and the gentleman doing my nails and she needed to keep her nose out of it. To which she informed me that there is a new owner and she is allowed to say whatever she wants to say. The gentleman doing my nails even made a comment that she's the owner's daughter so there's nothing he can do about her attitude towards me. I told him he needs to look for a new job at a reputable salon and that I will unfortunately never be back. Been here only once. Paid an average price for a gel set and pedicure. The basic pedicure was less than basic. She didn't even bother to do any scrubbing and no foot rub whatsoever. I know they have other pedis with nice scrubs if you pay more, but come one! I'm paying for something!!!! Maybe if I would pay for the $50 pedicure she would have actually tried.. didn't stop there. The other lady who did my gel set, rushed through the whole thing and kept insisting for me to set up a 3 week appointment because she claimed the set will last that long. I Love Lee's Nails. I just moved back to town this year and couldn't wait to start going back. I went there a little over a year straight to get the powered gel full set. I tried other places but they were horrible. Lee's nails last like 3 weeks. Other places are usually less than 2 weeks. True they like to speak they're language. I stopped by on Saturday 9/5 for a quick manicure as I was headed to a special event dinner. My manicurist spent the entire appointment looking over my shoulder for other appointments. My nails were filed into random trapezoid shapes, and the side of each nail was filed at a 45 degree angle. When I asked him to correct it he said "I was wondering what you were looking at." Um, the disaster of a manicure in process? No cuticle oil, no hand lotion or massage. He was so inattentive with my top coat that you can literally see where he missed a quarter inch boarder around the cuticle area of my nails. I tipped him even though I wasn't happy with my manicure. He made a huge deal "looking for change." I got a bunch of sweaty singles returned to me - gross. Not two hours later my manicure chipped at dinner. There has to be a better place for a manicure in the Morris area. I will definitely take my business elsewhere.It breaks my heart when someone says "you get what you pay for" - I have a regular manicurist at a shop near my office that does a phenomenal $15 manicure that lasts two weeks. I am in the process of removing the uneven polish and cutting my nails down to correct the awful filing. Read Less

Whenever I come here everyone is always asking where I get my nails done!! I love Brian and Katie, they're the best! They are very friendly and always have great styles and designs to choose from if you need some help deciding what you like. They have awesome pedicure packages too!!! Very relaxing. They also wax my eyebrows and everyone compliments me on those after I get them done! I've been to a lot of salons since I moved out of town but this is by far the best!!! Read Less

gave them a second chance. during the first week after getting my nails they started falling off. They even thinned out the nail polish right in front of me for my pedi. Also had my eyebrows waxed and discovered wax residue around both eyes. Next time I'll drive further away for quality! Read Less

My daughter has gone to this place for the longest time and has loved it. I went there for my first time June 2nd. I have been ready to go back for my fill in just haven't had the money but they have lasted almost 4 weeks with no chips until today and it's very little. The people do speak Chinese amongst themselves which sometimes does get a little annoying but all in all they are very nice and only ask for money before you are done so they your nails don't get smudged which I am used to that. They are great there and I will be calling today to go for my fill in tomorrow. Read Less

They were horrible! I spent $200 for what was supposed to be a mani/pedi for my best friend n I. First, I slipped in the pedi chair n hurt my foot, not one employee there asked if I was ok. The girls that did our feet acted like they were dying n my girl had to re-do my feet because she was "scared of the new skin on my feet"....WHAT?! Then, we decided to do a full set with the new no chip(which they did not have us wash our hands while doing the full set, which is not the norm). Lee nails acted weird when we requested that, I actually asked what was wrong and they said nothing. Neglected to tell us that the no chip does not go on fake nails, that polish will stay just fine. Well our nails were terrible, so we went to a different place in town n they fixed us up. Thank goodness. And here my best friend n I are a month later with our real nails not growing back n if they start to they chip n peel and our fingertips are sore....I completely blame Lee Nails for their carelessness! I thought the service was very good. I cannot comment on the other reviews regarding the staff, but I thought the staff was friendly enough. They understand the products and I do not feel that they were pushy at all. I went early in the morning when they were not terribly busy. I read reviews here and being new to the area I went to Lee Nails in Morris. I wont go again!!!! The place is neat and well decorated, BUT, I think it was very rude to be doing my nails and other peoples feet etc and all the employees are blabbing back and forth to each other in Chinese, and laughing and stuff. THATS JUST RUDE!!! I know damn well they can speak english, as they had no problem asking me to pay BEFORE my nails were done..ALso he was so busy yapping and laughing and looking at some web site on their computer, he got a little carried away with the cuticle cutters and cut my finger..bled for a bit, not bad, but no apology or nothing. Just a nice scab next to my nail for a week. I have had my nails done in another similar place in Streator when I lived there, and the manicure lasted 1-2 weeks depending on what I did as far as cleaning etc. Here at Lee Nails, the paint was chipping off the next day!!Sorry I will NOT Be a repeat customer..Will have to find another place.. My mom and I have been to Lee Nails to get our feet and nails done about five or six times and they were all great. I saw the equipments they used on our mani/pedi were sterilized. Their technicians are very nice and friendly. Sometimes they tried to help by puting our shocks and shoes on for us which they did not have to (*_~). We got good services at Lee Nails. They treat us more like friends than customers because they never overcharge or rip-off my pocket. You can ask for a personal kit with a buffer and a file. I don't have one because i don't think it's necessary, as long as i don't get fungus or infection. I cannot come to Lee Nails to get my nails done all the times because i travel a lot, but whenever i have a chance i always swing by. So i recommend you to come. Read Less

I have been going to lee nails since they opened , and although i go to one tech. everyone is very polite . I am in the shop atleast once a week , wether it is to get a pedicure (wich are great !!!) , eyebrows shaped , or just my polished changed . I always feel welcomed .Its clean and they care about you . I have recomended numerous people and have gotten great feedback . I have been going to Lee Nails in Morris since it opened and have had nothing but good experiences each time. They are all very polite and I have had terrific service. The service in Lee Nails was not enjoyable all three times I visited. The workers were rude all three times- They were very pushy to provide you with their expensive services and when you decline and go for the basics the people are very snotty. I felt that there was a strong language barrier- again you got snotty attitude beacuase you can not understand them. I believe that if you treat people politely you should get it in return- not so much there... When I went back for a trim down of my nails- they argued with me! Once I pleaded my case they agreed and trimmed my nails... The third time I went to Lee Nails- I was going for a nail removal... I could have done that myself! After having to plead my case once again- I got some one to remove the nails- The worker took regular clippers- cut my real nail and false nail as close as she could to my skin then took another nail tip and pried them aff one by one. I was left with sore fingers and a bleeding finger nail. **** THEY DID NOT USE STERILE INTRUMENTS!!!!!!!!!! They used the buffer and drimmel tool and continued the process and then proceeded to put the intruments back into the drawer of their workstation.Looks may be very deceiving!!!!!!! The salon is clean looking and nicely decorated- but don't let the looks blur the unsanitary practices and rude employees.Enter at your own risk. Read Less
