My friend and I went there for pedicures. There were hardly any people there, and only a couple of employees. I had an older man do my pedicure. He was very rough - it was not relaxing at all. He caused 2 of my toes to bleed, and took too much skin off my heel, and it was bleeding. I got home and had to put band-aids and Neosporin on my toes and heel. Wth?? And he told me my finger nails were too thick, and asked where I had them done. (Not there.) Asked me TWICE if I wanted my nails done. NO!! Will not be going back there! Ouch!! Read Less

$50 for a full set and to paint my 4 year olds nails. I left with 2 bleeding fingers, different lengths on all my nails, they're thicker than they should be and what looks like a bubble or something on one nail. My daughter was also bleeding a little and she has one nail thats messed up. They were nice people but clearly not very good at nails. Read Less

My friend and I took ourselves and her granddaughter for a spa day here. They were wonderful to the girls, ages 6 and 8.  We both got gel nails, and I am so impressed with the work done, as is she, as we both have not had good service in the past at other salons.  They did not rush us out the door, our nails were dry, our feet look great. Another salon, left we with still rough feet three weeks ago and not very good color and the mani only lasted 4 days. All I did was wash dishes and take a showers. No hard cleaning.   The place is very clean, the staff is very nice. If you want good service, I would come here, took me a year to find this place. Read Less

This is a worst nail place I have every been to. I got my nails done in 08 and my nails turned black and I went back n the next day and told them and told them they need to fix it or give me my money back but they didn't because they said I was messing with something that was black and I wasn't doing anything. I took my mom and I here for first time and was impressed they have good hours of operation.  I felt they tried hard to understand my needs as I have a neuroma (not visible) on my left foot and it cannot be touched.  The owner worked on me and touched that spot a couple times but then did a good job going around it.  It is an unusual request so I appreciate when someone finally "gets it".  She was accommodating when I asked for several colors (one on each toe) that I picked out myself.  I think she charged me $3 extra for this.  My mom is 84 and loved her service tremendously.  We will definitely come back here on a regular basis.  The place is clean and they are very efficient workers as far as I could tell.  Would highly recommend them. This place has very nice workers, but I didn't get what I asked for bc my lady couldn't understand me. I asked for designs on my toes and she said ok but I got nothing.  Then when I asked the guy to help I told him what i wanted and he told he rand still it was nothing like i wanted. The Shellac job on my finger nails was ok I've had many  better and few worse. The leg massage wast really a massage and they didn't use lotion after so I'm dry and itchy :( Read Less

I have been going to this salon for years now, they do a great job.  They always are friendly and fit you in for service.  Have watched and they clean the pedicure stations between patrons.  Have never had a problem.  I do love that t,hey let your feet soak and soften, too many salons rush through the visit! I love services that understand that their customers are working and so they need to be accessible evenings and weekends.  I stopped by one Sunday for a mani/pedicure because my usual nail salon isn't open Sundays.  California Nails had moved to their new, spacious, clean and well appointed space in the former Eagle's building the night before.  I further love a service that defines their own rules...the family dog is a business mascot of sorts.  They are truly nice people who are quite inviting. But, the best part is the quality of the service.  Pedicures are pedicures...give me a nice lower leg massage, remove all the stuff I don't need from my feet and toes and paint the nails pretty well and I'm happy.  It's the manicure that tells the tale.  I have had professional manicures chip and break within 3 days of polishing.  My mani from California Nails is still going strong two weeks later.  My only disappointment was a lack of magazines for true indulgence and relaxation but I'm guessing that they tossed their inventory when they moved the night before.  I'd recommend them as a locally owned, entrepenaur with great service and an above average product.
