I have been there twice. Both times have been great. Atmosphere is awesome, drinks served, polite ppl, and the best part is techs that actually know what they r doing. I have been to several nail places and have yet to find someone who can do my funky nails correctly. Think i finally have found my place and tech. Highly recommended. I never ever ever write reviews but I am for Ansan because I can't stop staring at my nails!!! They are exactly what I wanted and the people were so nice (I even got a free mini Bloody Mary). I don't want to go anywhere else ever lol I'm so amazed. Definitely go here because they won't con you/ try to convince you into getting a different color or design you don't like like a lot of other places do! I only gave one star because zero stars isn't an option. I can't believe I just wasted $137 at this place. I called ahead to get manicures and pedicures for my daughter and I. One lady started my daughter's and one came over to turn the water on for me and then disappeared, the water was cold so I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come do my feet with them soaking in cold water. Someone finally comes, apologizes once she realizes the water is cold and does the pedicure. She then painted my nails with gel color. I loved the color and design she did. Once it's over, she goes to put the color away and I say "oh actually, I wanted that color on my nails too" and she had no idea that I even wanted my finger nails done. Another girl comes over to do my finger nails. She is rushing and cuts me! She starts apologizing over and over and I reassure her that I'm not mad and accidents happen. I wouldn't even have wrote this review had it not been for the outrageous price for such shit service. The venue is cramped at best and parking sucks just as bad. I will NEVER come here again. Even after all that, I left a $20 tip because they DID make Kelly daughter's time a blast, and the guy at the counter has the nerve to say "we're supposed to split that between people?" I've always enjoyed this salon with positive experiences, however after my last visit I won't be back. I got a full set a few nights ago and chose a color from their color palette. As the women was painting my nails, the color was a much brighter pink then the color I chose. I mentioned it looked different and she responded it would dry differently. Also I originally asked for a manicure which I did not get. On top of it all my nails were longer and the wrong shape of what I requested. I came back the next day asking for them to fix it, but they were booked the whole day and acted like my frustration was not legitimate. My brothers wedding is tomorrow and I needed to get them fixed, so I was forced to take my business elsewhere. Again, I will not be visiting this facility again! Read Less

I really want to give this place 5 stars. Everyone around me was having such a great time with their technician. Mine however, seemed to see me as an inconvenience. She didn't offer me a drink or a design on my nails and the only conversation was very disgruntled. I am in town on work monthly. I may try again. Awesome Gel Manicure! I went it for a Mani-Pedi and had a very relaxing time. The salon is very clean and the staff is also very friendly. I sat in a massage chair while getting my pedicure done and they brought in some tea for me. The place is also busy so get an appointment ahead. The gel manicure has not chipped in 3 weeks!! I have had several unacceptable appointments at Ansons I've had my foot sliced open, they wanted to stop the bleeding by pouring a liquid that burns like fire.  I would not allow the nail tech to do that I asked for a band aid, they didn't have any.Another visit the nail tech sliced my finger while using s big sharp nail file.  The last time, the owner Twong  was so rude.  He thinks he's so funny, I will NEVER go there again.  There are a lot of other places to go!!! The outside isn't the nicest - BUT please don't let that fool you. Walk inside and it's an adorable bustling salon. I got the best gel mani of my life here. A full week later and it still looks like day one. The girl actually took the time to put 4 coats of polish - plus multiple base and top coats. Plus she fixed a nail that was broken. I LOVE this place. Very friendly staff, very welcoming, and my nails always look amazing when I leave. I would call ahead and make an appointment if you are going to visit. They often get very busy with walk-ins. The owners are very sweet and funny. I always trying to make their customers laugh and enjoy their visit. I was born in the QC and every time I come back to visit, going to Ansan is at the top of my list of things to do. BEST PEDICURE EVER! They use a tool that makes your feet so smooth and it lasts for a long time. Very clean and nice environment. The employees are so friendly, they make your visit a great experience. Fair prices. I have wanted to get my nails done for forever and I stumbled upon Ansan's. I walked in at 12 on a Monday and they had just opened. The people at the desk were very friendly and I was seated right away for my full gel set. The salon looks newly updated and clean and there isn't that artificial nail smell that some salons have. Excellent experience!  Took my 2 year old daughter for her first mani/pedi and they were so great with her!  Did a great job on both of our nails and they were so sweet and nice to her. I've been coming to Ansan for 2 years now and have never had a bad experience. I try to make appointments but every time I've just walked in, they've never had a problem getting me in. I did not have an appointment, and despite being quite full they accommodated me for a mani and pedi. The chairs have massagers, and you are offered a drink. Everyone was very friendly. I had gel polish and my nail tech did a wonderful job. Right now they have summer hours and are open on Mondays. Also, I heard someone say they were renting out the upstairs for a girls night out.
