I used to love this place because there was an awesome techniacian I used she has now left and they are under new management. There’s no top table of the best nail technician. They have more people there and don’t know who all is properly trained. When I get my nails done I always get fake gel or acrylic so I’ve seen my share of crappy. I needed a fill and repair in acrylic bc I was in town. I’m extremely picky with my nails, here they make them look very thick I asked for square and they rounded the tips, there’s blobs of nail polish under my nails which I asked to be removed an he failed to do and told him to forget it bc the blob was still there. He cut my fingers with the file. They don’t shape them to you finger so it looks like a blob on your hand. If you’ve had great nails done before this it is not a place to try. If you got lucky definitely stick with that tech bc they will place you with anyone. Also they will find anyway to charge you a crazy amount a fill n repair cost me 40$ which is almost the price of a new set, told him the price I said it was suppose to be n he laughed. I luckily held my tongue n just paid n will never return I would go to a real salon before I go to this place. I don’t know what people’s version of clean is but they were easy to deceive bc they don’t wash their tools seen them do pedicures n just wipe out the bowl with no cleaner n place the next person in. So if you have decent standards of cleanliness and actually talent to do nails then this place is not for you. Crappy standards n uncleanliness bc you don’t know what clean is then this place is just for you they would gladly destroy your nails and rob your wallet.

Love this palace lol place... Staff is professional. Andy and Amy are the best.. Some dont always understand u but its ok... They have private rooms if u book party. And they keep up on the new things...

I asked for long fakes. She cut where I usually wear them. I said okay, that I liked them. She then continued to cut more off the sides. They are too short for what I originally asked for. I left, thinking they will grow on me, WRONG. I hate them. Called back to see if I can get them fixed. The women argued with me & told me I have to completely get a new set & pay ANOTHER almost $40. Ridiculous. On top, of them not being long enough, some are too pointy, some are more rounded. I, however, do like the color and the matte finish. First time customer, was recommended by a friend. Will for sure keep to my usual place. I’m not picky and almost never leave reviews. I have never been so unhappy with how my nails look.

Their dip manis are not very good and the color selection is so limited. They last 7 days and start peeling pretty quick. I highly recommend getting gel here instead. They do a great job at that.

I take the condition of my nails very seriously and am very picky about the salons I choose to visit. Heads Held High continues to exceed my expectations whenever I visit. They are friendly, take their time to ensure that each client is 100% satisfied and offer a welcoming, hygienic environment. They are always on-top of the latest trends and offer honest opinions about what does and doesn’t work. I’ve been to other nail salons in town where I have broken out in rashes and/or had in-grown nails from pedicures; never once has that happened at Heads Held High. Prices are fair and I always leave 110% satisfied. Jen is my girl!

I don't normally post reviews, but I felt like this one was needed. I went in to get a pedicure, as my toes needed some TLC... The older gentlemen working on my pedicure was definitely a noobie, which I understand because everyone has to start somewhere. I don't appreciate the fact that he spent more time on everything EXCEPT my toes. The pedicure overall was very shoddy:barely pushed back my cuticles, didn't cut my cuticles (when I explicitly asked him to), and my toenails were all uneven. I worked at a nail salon in downtown Chicago for two years while I was going to school, and I know how nails should be done. I don't consider myself a picky person, but this pedicure was very off-putting. I'm not going to generalize the whole place because it wouldn't be fair... Just stay away from the older gentleman with glasses.

They need to work on how they treat their customers. I came in after work & I felt so rushed. I showed them multiple pictures on what I wanted & they lied to me saying they couldn't do it because they didn't want to take the time do it.. I got there around 7:15pm.. they close at 8pm. They changed the nail technician three times. After this experience I am learning how to speak Chinese because I'm 99% sure they were talking bad about me. They have people come in all day & show them pictures & the one thing I wanted I couldn't get because of horrible service!!!!! Not pleased, not happy & my birthday is Wednesday & I do not like my nails. Ps. Please pick somewhere else to go.

Place is pretty good for mani and pedi. I have no complaints there. They do a very good job. However, I went in for a lip and chin wax a few days ago and not only was it one of the roughest waxing experiences I've ever had, but it left me with cuts on my face. Getting waxed is painful, got it but this definitely was not your normal wax job. I don't think I will be back. Please fix this Nail Palace.

I went in on a Saturday expecting there to be a wait. Although they were busy I got in right away. The nail tech was very friendly and trying to make small talk while also paying close attention to my nails. The salon itself is huge and very beautiful decorated. I was very very satisfied with the pink and white manicure he did! All of my nails are even and looks beautiful! Would recommend to anyone and definitely my go to place now!

This place deserves zero stars. I made an appointment for 445. I arrived at 430. I was taken back at 445 for my pedicure. I asked 3 people if they had the matching no chip polish to match the regular paint color I chose for my toes. Everyone said yes. I sat in the water from 445 to 522. I saw many people being serviced and passing me by weird. I also noticed all the other patrons were offered a pedicure menu, which I was never offered. I saw others offered wine, Champaign and water. I was NEVER offered anything. Finally a tech came to service me. Sam the technician did a terrible job on my cuticles not cutting any skin or really doing any work at all. Someone else came to finish. After the paint was on my toes I went to get my no chip manicure and was told they DID NOT HAVE THE MATCHING COLOR!!! Weird because I asked 3 employees BEFORE I got my toes painted. Now your telling me you don't have it. Needles to say I am very upset my hands and feet don't match. They weren't busy and I didn't get out of there until 722! Why did it take so long? Why was I not offered any service? Everyone kept asking is everything ok, when they knew it wasn't. I was late for an appointment because a simple no chip manicure and crappy pedicure took almost 3 hours and it was slow as molasses in this shop! Plus they're way over priced! Stay away. Bad bad customer service!

June is great at no chip. Some of the girls are pretty ratty, not very friendly. you can go online and usually get a cheaper deal because there are coupons. It's pretty random on service. Sometimes great, Sometimes shady and it chips in 2 days.

The only reason I am giving a 2 star is I am giving them the benefit of the doubt as I have not tried their services yet. Beautiful place, cleaning materials put out of sight, but I walked in there to inquire about a couple things and book an appointment for the next day. I stood there for 5 mins and was not once acknowledged by staff. Even they were to say "I will be with you in 5 mins" at least I would have been acknowledged so I walked out. There is a different nail salon I usually go to, as soon as you walk in you are greeted and assisted. The way is should be.

I am actually getting my third pedicure here as I post this. The first time I can here was in March for my birthday and I've been getting monthly pedicures here ever since! I am a cosmetologist by trade and am very picky about where I get my pedicures done. This is my absolute favorite place for a pedi thus far. I am on my feet a lot so the one thing I like to splurge a little more on are my pedicures. This place is not only clean, but has a variety of fun pedicures to choose from. (My favorite so far is the champagne rose, but I anticipate to try the double chocolate pedicure soon.) it's an absolutely beautiful, huge salon with marble floors and murals on the wall that I find charmingly cheesy in the best way possible. My feet always feel so soft and I never leave feeling like I didn't get pampered. I have been served soda, wine, and champagne. My only complaint is that there aren't more places like this! I love this place and I will continue to come here and refer people to here!

This was my first time getting a pedicure at this salon and I had the absolute worst experience!I have a bad toe nail, and where the lady was about to start I specifically told her to only file the one nail more flatter comparing to my nail on my other foot because I don't want it to get any worse than it ready was. She then decides to do more than file it and could around the entire nail. Now my toe nail is nearly about to come completely off!She also did not properly preform a typical pedicure; she did not treat any dry skin that appeared on my feet.I do not plan to EVER spend my hard working money at this place ever again! This was my first and absolute last time I will walk go to this place!

The Salon had well known for cleanliness, sanitation, and properly handled chemical products. I’ve been going here since it opened last year and I have never had an issue! It’s a beautiful place with the best staff and owner. Everything is kept very clean and is the most hygienic salon I have ever been to! I’ve never once been worried. Always look forward to getting my nails done here!

I don't normally post reviews, but I felt like this one was needed. I went in to get a pedicure, as my toes needed some TLC... The older gentlemen working on my pedicure was definitely a noobie, which I understand because everyone has to start somewhere. I don't appreciate the fact that he spent more time on everything EXCEPT my toes. The pedicure overall was very shoddy:barely pushed back my cuticles, didn't cut my cuticles (when I explicitly asked him to), and my toenails were all uneven. I worked at a nail salon in downtown Chicago for two years while I was going to school, and I know how nails should be done. I don't consider myself a picky person, but this pedicure was very off-putting. I'm not going to generalize the whole place because it wouldn't be fair... Just stay away from the older gentleman with glasses.

They need to work on how they treat their customers. I came in after work & I felt so rushed. I showed them multiple pictures on what I wanted & they lied to me saying they couldn't do it because they didn't want to take the time do it.. I got there around 7:15pm.. they close at 8pm. They changed the nail technician three times. After this experience I am learning how to speak Chinese because I'm 99% sure they were talking bad about me. They have people come in all day & show them pictures & the one thing I wanted I couldn't get because of horrible service!!!!! Not pleased, not happy & my birthday is Wednesday & I do not like my nails. Ps. Please pick somewhere else to go.

Place is pretty good for mani and pedi. I have no complaints there. They do a very good job. However, I went in for a lip and chin wax a few days ago and not only was it one of the roughest waxing experiences I've ever had, but it left me with cuts on my face. Getting waxed is painful, got it but this definitely was not your normal wax job. I don't think I will be back. Please fix this Nail Palace.

The nail tech was very friendly and trying to make small talk while also paying close attention to my nails. The salon itself is huge and very beautiful decorated. I was very very satisfied with the pink and white manicure he did! All of my nails are even and looks beautiful! Would recommend to anyone and definitely my go to place now!

This place deserves zero stars. I made an appointment for 445. I arrived at 430. I was taken back at 445 for my pedicure. I asked 3 people if they had the matching no chip polish to match the regular paint color I chose for my toes. Everyone said yes. I sat in the water from 445 to 522. I saw many people being serviced and passing me by weird. I also noticed all the other patrons were offered a pedicure menu, which I was never offered. I saw others offered wine, Champaign and water. I was NEVER offered anything. Finally a tech came to service me. Sam the technician did a terrible job on my cuticles not cutting any skin or really doing any work at all. Someone else came to finish. After the paint was on my toes I went to get my no chip manicure and was told they DID NOT HAVE THE MATCHING COLOR!!! Weird because I asked 3 employees BEFORE I got my toes painted. Now your telling me you don't have it. Needles to say I am very upset my hands and feet don't match. They weren't busy and I didn't get out of there until 722! Why did it take so long? Why was I not offered any service? Everyone kept asking is everything ok, when they knew it wasn't. I was late for an appointment because a simple no chip manicure and crappy pedicure took almost 3 hours and it was slow as molasses in this shop! Plus they're way over priced! Stay away. Bad bad customer service!

They have a fish take that is so filthy you can't see in. I contacted the spa on their website with these concerns and never received a response back. Bad service overall very disappointed.

June is great at no chip. Some of the girls are pretty ratty, not very friendly. you can go online and usually get a cheaper deal because there are coupons. It's pretty random on service. Sometimes great, Sometimes shady and it chips in 2 days.

The only reason I am giving a 2 star is I am giving them the benefit of the doubt as I have not tried their services yet. Beautiful place, cleaning materials put out of sight, but I walked in there to inquire about a couple things and book an appointment for the next day. I stood there for 5 mins and was not once acknowledged by staff. Even they were to say "I will be with you in 5 mins" at least I would have been acknowledged so I walked out. There is a different nail salon I usually go to, as soon as you walk in you are greeted and assisted. The way is should be.

I am actually getting my third pedicure here as I post this. The first time I can here was in March for my birthday and I've been getting monthly pedicures here ever since! I am a cosmetologist by trade and am very picky about where I get my pedicures done. This is my absolute favorite place for a pedi thus far. I am on my feet a lot so the one thing I like to splurge a little more on are my pedicures. This place is not only clean, but has a variety of fun pedicures to choose from. (My favorite so far is the champagne rose, but I anticipate to try the double chocolate pedicure soon.) it's an absolutely beautiful, huge salon with marble floors and murals on the wall that I find charmingly cheesy in the best way possible. My feet always feel so soft and I never leave feeling like I didn't get pampered. I have been served soda, wine, and champagne. My only complaint is that there aren't more places like this! I love this place and I will continue to come here and refer people to here!

This was my first time getting a pedicure at this salon and I had the absolute worst experience!I have a bad toe nail, and where the lady was about to start I specifically told her to only file the one nail more flatter comparing to my nail on my other foot because I don't want it to get any worse than it ready was. She then decides to do more than file it and could around the entire nail. Now my toe nail is nearly about to come completely off!She also did not properly preform a typical pedicure; she did not treat any dry skin that appeared on my feet.I do not plan to EVER spend my hard working money at this place ever again! This was my first and absolute last time I will walk go to this place!
