I came here a few times and loved it. They do good work however they will forget you.. my sister made an appointment for 3 pedis and a gel fill for me. They said sure not a problem come in. So we did. My sisters are getting their pedis and I figured I would wait a little to get my fill.. well I'm still waiting 45 mins later. I'm sitting and waiting and even TALKING ABOUT WHAT COLOR I WAS GOING TO GET IN FRONT OF THE EMPLOYEES. I've seen 3-4 people be seated before I was when I had been WAITING for now an hour! I got up went to the amazing Mexican restaurant called La Michoacana for food and told them I wasn't getting my nails done anymore. My sister asked and they said "was she suppose to be getting a gel fill?!?" My sister kindly said yes i asked for a gel fill appointment on the phone and they then spoke to each other in surprise and said "we can see her now.." lmao hell no. I already left. Great salon.  Very clean.  They have HEPA filters set up around the salon.  I like that they line the pedicure bowls, not just spray them down and wipe. The pedicure area is very zen.  No television, just relaxing music. They have new special spa treatment pedicures, which I can't wait to try. Went there for the first time today and Susan was my nail technician. Her attention to detail was what really impressed me. She took her time and made sure I was happy with the length, shape, etc of my nails. And I can be pretty picky. I also have a round nail bed and have found that it’s hard for me to get my nails done and not have them look bulky and thick. The way she did them makes them look natural. I love them. I just started coming to this nail salon on the recommendation of my manager.  I was very impressed.  The color of the place is very soothing.  That may not seem important but it actually is when you are having your nails done.  I NEVER had a fill last 4 weeks with NO broken nail.  I wear my nails long and often in the past had to have one replaced ever 2weeks.  I literally went 4weeks without breaking a nail.  What does that tell you???They have HEPA  Healthy Air machines at every station.  The only salon I have ever seen this is at Arden in Deerfield.  I would recommend this place above all in McHenry.  Especially with children.  Who wants their little girl breathing in all those chemicals. worst experience ever. I went last night to have a mani pedi with my 7 year old daughter. They charge me 30.00 for my daughter when all they did was a nail polish. they didn't want to do the whole mani pedi because she was to little they said. They didn't want to do any of the nail designs we wanted. We are going to Florida and my daughter wanted a mickey mouse on her big toe and thumb they said no so all they did was pink nail polish and white dots and a "bow" on her big toe that looks like glob of black paint on it. Please don't waste your money there not worth the 30.00 I paid for my daughter or the 45.00 they charged me. the pictures is what we got compared to what we wanted that they said they couldn't do. ohhh and then they messed up one of my nails and didn't want to fix it until I made them.
