One star-only because none was not an option. The acrylic nails are mainly done by either the man or an older woman. The woman is the better nail tech however, that still does not say much because the man is terrible! I had a full set done and there were spots missing one the sides of my nails not to mention that they were not filled down evenly so when he attempted to polish them, it highlighted every bump and gap. When I walked in the man came and greeted me and asked what service I would like today,awesome customer service! Nice way to welcome a first time customer. The older woman came and got me and started working on my manicure,she's quick but pushy. I received a gel manicure and the quality of the work was unsatisfying. Was on vacation in Illinois and Visited a week ago based on good reviews. Well, I don't have a good review; I have a mixed rating. I'll start with the positive: the customer service was exceptional. Very welcoming environment. My aunt and I both got our eyebrows waxed and we're both very happy with the results. The negative is that I got a gel polish manicure. Which usually last two weeks. Well, with Lovely Nails, I immediately saw that the nail job was subpar. I pointed out some things that got fixed but, two days later my nails were already chipping. By day 6, the polish was basically like peel-off polish and was coming off. When I got home to my regular nail tech in Virginia, she was in disbelief that I had a manicure and my nails done just a week ago. So. That said. If I was visiting again, I would go back for my eyebrows but nothing else. Read Less

HORRIBLE!!!! I wish I can give them zero stars! And post a picture of my uneven nails. First time here of course... I asked before I even sat to wait if they can do coffin shaped nails(as I ALWAYS get them). I asked them to fix it and they asked me to pay first. After I paid them they only filed very little and said my nails looked okay how they were😤😤 I asked for a refund and they wouldn't give me my money back! I really like this nail salon! I went there yesterday and got a no chip done. It was the cleanest nail salon I've been to in the area and the guy who did my nails was really nice. This is probably going to be my new go-to nail place. Very satisfied with the service and my nails look really good! Read Less
