I have been going to Foxy Nails for a few months now, this nail salon came highly recommended and up until last Saturday (April 28,2018) about 11:30 I go in to have a nail fix and they were very busy and Crystal was getting a customer set up for a pedicure and she had a young girl at her table drying her nails under the light. Crystal greeted me and asked what I needed and I responded that I needed a nail fix. Crystal replied "We don't have time to fix one nail, we are very busy, you see all these people they have been waiting a long time and we just don't have time to fix one nail. Can you come back at 3pm"? My disappointment did NOT come from the salon being busy, it came from tone and the lack of regard for me as a paying customer. Crystal totally disregarded me as a paying customer, as if my service was much less important than those currently being served. I was not looking for a free fix, I was expecting to pay as the nail fix prices are listed in the salons brochure, I was totally shock and very disappointed, since I've been going to the salon I have not ever experienced anything like this from this and I will NOT be returning. I came in on a very busy day and had to wait a good amount of time for my manicure, but it was worth the wait. The technician was very apologetic and did a great job on my nails. I find that people rarely take the time to do 3 full, neat coats. While I was there, the owner Crystal, brought out a bottle of champagne for a bridal party getting their nails done. This is the only nail salon I will go to. I have acrylic nails that I get redone every two weeks and they are the best! I've had pedicures at several places and Foxy goes above and beyond every other place for a great experience. I love their scrub during a pedicure. It's so relaxing! Read Less

Worst place I have EVER gotten my nails done...I was in town on business. Went here for a full set and shellac. Told her active length she made them too long. When I got back to MI I had to take them off because she put too much acrylic on them. They are too thick with about an inch of acrylic. Beautiful nails salon with wide color selection. I’m a color person, every time I come to do manicure I try a different color. Sometimes, I got all 10 nails with 10 different colors. They got hundreds of colors to choose and this really satisfies my hobby. Read Less

I went in for a no chip manicure and when I chose my color, two ladies walked in and wanted pedicures. I stood there with the color chip in my hand and waited for the girl who was to be my manicurist. They sat me at a desk and waited. Another lady started taking off my old nail polish and left me alone. It was regular store bought nail polish, nothing special. It was then i realized that the person who was supposed to help me was just starting to give the people who walked in after me a pedicure. They said it would just a few minutes. ...one hour later I was finally waited on and the manicurist was rude as was the person who took my nail polish off. Had they not started my mani I never would have stayed. But since i was going to have to pay for the services anyway I waited against my better judgment. I was late to an appointment because of their lack of communication and professionalism. What should have taken about and hour lasted over two!!! The next morning one of the nails had bubbled and was already beginning to tear--so much for a no chip manicure. Will never go back!I had gone to Foxy Nail's in the past for pedicures and loved them! Decided to stop in and get my no chip mani redone, and it was a horrible decision. The lady that did the no chip mani kept pushing the mood polish colors on me and made me sit while she kept bringing me more even after I tried to get up to pick my own color. Finally I choose a mood color that was dark like I wanted. While she was removing my previous no chip color she filed the nails so hard they started to burn and I had to make her stop. After finally painting my nails they weren't even the color she showed me! It was a light gold, the opposite of what I wanted and what I told her I wanted. So annoyed and not wanting to go through the pain of her removing the polish again I sucked it up and decided to pay. At this point she brings me my debit card receipt and tells me she had to charge me extra for the mood color, that I didn't even want in the first place! I was furious and signed my receipt and walked out.30 minutes later I called to speak with the owner which took me over 2 hours to get a call back. She said to come in and they would repaint my nails for free. Walked in and asked for Crystal who wouldn't even get up to greet me, instead she sat at the pedi chair on the far end and did her own pedicure. The best part, is when they had the same lady who screwed my nails up start taking my polish off until finally the guy behind me jumped in and took over. While he did do a little better of a job, he still left polish on my skin and looks messy.There are so many things wrong with this place I don't how they stay in business. Just sitting getting my nails redone, I watched the older lady that works there take the cheap pedi slippers off a girl and put them back with the new ones! After Crystal finished her own pedi, she didn't even wash the tub out with disinfectant. Or should I comment on Crystal yelling at her son, and hitting him upside his head for playing with a garbage can lid. My list can go on...Overall this place is not sanitary. By far best place to get your nails/toes done in the rockford area!! Everyone is so nice and welcoming and they do such an amazing job! Crystal, the owner, is so lovely and she does an amazing job on my nails. She and all her workers get along so well and it's just a fun atmosphere. Got a full-set Saturday. The nails are too thick and too wide. Apparently the owner, Crystal, is out of town, so that means no one is answering the phone. The voicemail is full. I'm trying to get in to have someone fix these nails and it's impossible. The sign says they open at 9 am and I'm waiting for someone to show up. If they're closed for Labor Day, they probably should have posted something. The nails suck and so does the service. Read Less

Foxy nails is the best place for nails!! I have been going to Crystal for 9 years, from when I was a sophomore in high school (for my first homecoming) to now Im 25 married with two children, and she does an amazing job! The nails stay shiny and gorgeous for almost 4 weeks when other nail salons the nails start getting dull and falling off in just a week or two. The salon is high end, clean, and very sterile. There are brand new messaging pedicure chairs that are amazing during a pedicure. All the staff are very friendly and do a great job! Crystal is the sweetest and funniest person and gets everyone in fast.This salon is great and I would not go anywhere else. The price is good and the quality is even better! I would suggest if you are going on sat. to make an appointment even if it is that day. They do get busy on sat. especially on holiday weekends. I make an appointment even when I go during the week but walk ins do come in when Im there, and get taken care of right away. Read Less

Been here before and it wasn't too bad. Came back again and had to wait an hour  for a mani, then another hour wait for my pedi. The guy doing my mani cut me with the cuticle cutter!  Then the  pedi was way too quick for the price of the service. Instead of painting my toes immediately after pedi,  the lady left me hanging for 30 minutes to watch tv! WTF! I don't think its worth the 40 dollars. Read Less

I absolutely LOVE Foxy Nails...I was getting my nails done at another shop prior to going to Foxy Nails; and was very pleased with my nail tech, but after my first visit to Krystal and the other guys (Cindy and Andy), I have NEVER returned to my other nail tech. The woman who owns this place. Doesn't care about anyone but her self. I had my wedding party come in I made an apt. 3 weeks prior and she said she would have the necessary people in to accommodate us. We went in the day before my wedding(the day the apt. was for) they were packed and only had 3 people working. we were in there for 3 1/2 hours and I hadn't even gotten my nails done. she was chit chatting with employees and not even paying attention to my bridesmaids. I was very disappointed, but I was still polite and she went on about how it was my fault.
