Surveyors are lazy, do not want to place pins on all sides of the property without charging additional fees, attempt to give advice based on what the judicial system may or may not decide should a property dispute arise and proceed to court. It is this companies (or its employees) opinion that a property line always rests where a existing fenceline falls, not considering the fenceline is placed based on the installers decision and not that of the actual legal description of said property.
