I have been there quite a few times for a manicure, no chip manicure, & pedicure. Angel nails does an excellent job of shaping nails without putting on a lot of acrylic when one or two of my real nails. However they have limited colors compared to Chicago shops. The shop owners and technicians are usually friendly, and very personable had one impatient tech who mumbled out loud to just pick my nail color she was polite reminder of the time even though asked for her patience when choosing my color. Other than that they REALLY Take time to shape and clean nails hopefully more people skilled in design work there in the future.Read Less

Pretty satisfied. I hate trying new nail places that I haven't tried alone.  Usually, I like to go with friends to our reliable places.  However, none of my friends were available and I needed something quick before my friends' wedding.  The wedding party needed to have french tip or violet.  I got a mani and pedi scheduled a week in advance for a Friday afternoon.  Overall, the place is easy to find, easy parking, and friendly service.  Some places, you walk in and it's so awkward your first visit.  I did the No Chip French on nails and a regular french tip on my toes.  Overall, it turned out super great!  I didn't need any fake tips.  It was all done on my own nails.  Only downside... if you don't fill them or let them chip, it totally ruins your nails.  If I need a manicure, I will go back, but I don't like putting toxic chemicals on my body if it can be helped.  Would love to find a place that has all organic, non-toxic, nail polish that is friendly to the environment.  So far, even Sally's doesn't have any and you have to purchase online.  Please share if you know of a local place!!!!Oh and they also, do eyebrow waxing and facial waxes.  I just did above my lips and my eyebrows.  I was so embarrassed for months about my unruly bushy eyebrows, and they looks truly amazing and I felt great afterwards.  The cost was very reasonable and service was quick.  The girl who did it really knows what she's doing. They are incredible!  This is long overdue.  My wedding rehearsal was in Lisle at 6:00 on a Friday. Everything was so crazy that day so nails had been bumped to last in line. I had never been to Angel Nails before.  I called, and told them my situation. I needed to be to the rehearsal by 6:00, but I couldn't get to their salon until 5:00. They were unbelievably gracious. They knew I was on deadline, but they were also very conscious of the fact that this was for my wedding the next day. They put one person on my feet, and one on my hands. They did apologize that it wouldn't be quite as good as usual because of the time. My nails were the best I've ever seen. The no chip on my hands was beyond perfect, and it really lasted. My feet looked incredible too. Hands down best mani pedi of my life. And it lasted until I took off the polish.I went back about a month ago for a regular mani-pedi. Not even no chip.  My nail polish looked great for two weeks. My nails never look good for more than two days with other regular manicures. Also, my feet looked incredible. The people have been wonderful each time I've been there. I don't live in Lisle, but when I need my nails done, I will make excuses to be in the area. I really enjoyed coming to this nail salon. Although the pedicure chairs were run down, the salon itself was very nice. It was pleasing to see them take out tools from a sealed sterilized bag. They were very understanding when I told them I didn't have too much time. My nails look so amazing! I was very impressed! Definitely will come back Read Less

I had some time to kill before picking up my husband at the train station down the street,  so I thought I would get a basic manicure.  The whole experience was good.  Janet did a great job on my nails,  she definitely paid careful attention to my nails,  cuticles,  polish,  everything!  Great customer service.  My only regret is that I didn't have time for a pedicure too. will definitely be coming back when I am around! I've have gone to this place a few times and have always been happy with the service. Needless to say, my most recent visit was fantastic.  Being the absent minded person I am, I did not pay attention to the closing time for that day and rushed in.  Ten minutes in and to my horror, I realized that the shop was closing and I was the last person left.  I can honestly say that if it was me I'd probably be annoyed. Not only was Leslie fantastic but she took her time.  I was there for literally an hour after the shop closed. This experience has risen an already high bar for excellence. Read Less

Ever since Angel Nails has been under new management, they rock! Kira and her husband are so friendly and accommodating. They promptly greet you and offer you water or soda, the service is wonderful and customized, and the atmosphere is relaxing and very clean. I've been to other nail salons in the area but nothing compared to Angel Nail's attention and quality. Their polish stays on for weeks and you don't feel rushed when you walk in like at other salons. Super excited to have found an affordable place around the corner from my hair salon. I walked in at about 1:15 pm yesterday (Friday). I was lucky that I was able to walk right in and get a pedicure. I picked the "best" one at $40 and I was very pleased. I felt that the technician, Nancy, did a very nice job with the various scrubs and oils and hot stones (oh my). I have seen my nail technician, Ann, for over 10 years, and she recently began working at Angel Nails which has been under new ownership for about 3 months. Not sure what this salon was like before current ownership but judging by reviews not great.  I'm sure it has vastly improved. Ann is excellent and has a long, loyal following because she takes great pride in her work.  She is exceptional in her attention to detail, cleanliness, and commitment to customer satisfaction. I have gotten several pedicures at Angels.  The staff works very hard and does a good job.  My feet always look great when I leave.  The price is probably the best around.  The big fish in the algae filled tank are a little unsettling but for the most part this is a good place to get my nails done. I had a TERRIBLE experience here!!!Walked in to get my nails done for my brother's wedding. I was in a rush, and one of the girls there told me it would take "45 minutes, no problem!" Wrong! AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES later, I'm sprinting out the door with soaking wet nails that look HIDEOUS! Aside from the fact that it took nearly double the time the girl told me (and 20 minutes longer than any set of fakes I have gotten in the past 10 years), two of the nails weren't cut to the same length as the others, and the gels looked bulbous, uneven and obviously fake. One hour in, she's still messing around with the shaping, as I'm telling her I HAVE TO GO NOW! She takes her time finishing, and then globs 3 coats of color and 2 topcoats on without letting any of the layers dry between coats. Needless to say, the polish smeared and got everywhere (and took over an hour to dry), and my nails looked heinous for the wedding. To top it off, I went in the next day to complain and get them fixed, and they charged me for a polish change.Seeing how nail places are a dime a dozen, go a block down the road to someplace that trains their staff before putting them on the floor, and has some inkling of what "customer service" means.
