Nina's Nails is right in my neighborhood and so one day, I decided to give it a try. Ever since, I've been going back there. I have not try any other services from there, expect for the regular manicure, so my review will be only based on so.The price is cheap, only $10 for a manicure. They have a good variety of colors and the employees are nice. The place is nice and clean, which is always great. My technician is always different whenever I go and do my nails. I love Nina'a nails! I came in there with a group of about 6 girls for my sisters wedding nails and we were all taken care of very well. They even had a very rude client and were able to keep her under control. We all felt so bad and wish we could've helped but we decided to leave them an awesome review instead thank you!!!! If I could give a zero star I would. This place is awful!!!! I made an appointment and when I got there the morons fought over who can do my nails. Went back and forth about it. Then tried to make me wait an hour. Even though I had an appointment. No they weren't busy either. One other person in there. I will never be going back there. I walked out. Read Less

I found this place because of Yelp . I took my chances cause it was close to home and I like trying new places : I'm glad I did cause this is officially home for me every two weeks . Lily & Lisa are my go to . They both take their time and they make sure you like your color and your shape / length . I stopped in for a pedicure because it was close to my home. It was actually decent and the lady used hot stones on my legs which, felt nice. My daughter also got a pedicure and they did a good job on her too. I shall return. Read Less

This is an unassuming location that I'm soooo happy I tried out! They take their time and really do a phenomenal job- they don't rush through the pedi- which I appreciate, I can do the quick pedi myself, when I come to the salon, I need a professional! I love Nina's nails and I love the experience but today was absolutely horrible! I asked to have my pedicure redone but it still came out the same way..looked like I did it. This specific Essie color requires no top coat, and she used so much of it that it started to bubble. She also didn't fix up my cuticles correctly and after a second time with a different color, it was still the same.I love this place and I hope for a better experience because, tonight was not. I've just begun doing my nails again and I tried this place out, out of location convenience. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. I am a cosmetology student and have been taught to be extremely sanitary and clean and even if I've already sanitized something, the client is more comfortable with me cleaning it in front of them. When I walked in the service was great. They asked what I wanted and informed me the wait wouldn't be long. When I sat down I noticed nothing was disinfected or sanitized in front of me but she COULD have done it else where. I was seen within 10 minutes but when she started working on me another woman came in and just stood next to me to watch what the lady was doing. That made me uncomfortable for a stranger to be looking over my shoulder like that... watching me...and the lady doing my nails said nothing because the woman standing over me was her regular clientele. When this other woman walked in I noticed my nail tech start rushing on me so she had a young girl start on the other womans' pedicure. I guess she was supposed to do the ladies pedicure. She proceeded to complete the drilling portion of getting acrylics filled, painted my nails and rushed to her regular. She started telling the lady that she'll fix the acrylic on her toes...... SHE GRABBED THE SAME DRILL SHE USED ON MY HANDS WITHOUT CLEANING OR DISINFECTING ANYTHING AND STARTED DRILLING THE LADY'S TOE. Don't be surprised if you develop some type of nail fungus because that place is dirty. My nails also didn't come out nicely because she practically poured the bottle of polish on my nail and smeared it on. She checked if they were dry and told me I was okay to leave. While I was walking out I could feel the nail polish start to run on my finger. I was just infuriated and walked out without getting my polish fixed. NEVER AGAIN. Read Less

Very friendly and nice staff. Love the way they did my nails. The only downfall is they said they didn't know how to do any type of design - not even an ombré. If you want just one solid color this is the place for you. If not and you want more extravagant nails then you'll have to pass. Read Less

I don't know if it was the lady that did my nails that messed them up, or if they all do nails the same way she does. It was a nightmare!!! The lady who did my nails overlayed my nails and made at least 700 layers of gel... so they looked really really horrific. On top of that it took her over an hour! I came in without an appointment on Monday for the first time. The salon was pretty busy, but I was greeted promptly and was seated right away to start my pedicure. The place was very clean, and well ventilated.Thien assisted me with manicure and pedicure, she was really careful and neat. My toes and nails turned out flawless. No frills kind of place that I probably never would've stepped foot in but like everything else in my life I found myself needing my nails done last minute and as soon as possible.I stopped by on a rainy Saturday about 30 minutes before closing and asked for a pedi and no chip manicure. I had already gone to a few other places that turned me away for coming too late but Nina's Nails gladly welcomed me in. It was raining pretty hard and the place was empty. It was a bit weird being the only person in a nail salon but I figured the rain kept a lot of people away. There's not many pedicure stations so I can imagine this place gets filled pretty quickly. They use these blue hand towels at every station that look like they've been washed 100 times. They also reuse tools and sanitize them after each use which I'm not a fan of. I prefer places that open up a new pack with each customer. Last thing I noticed was that many of their regular polishes have begun to separate and should either be saved or tossed out. The pedicure it self was good. I felt they did a great job with cuticle and callous removal & the hot stones were a nice touch. I wasn't very satisfied with the polish though. I'm not sure if the one I choose needed to be thinned out or if the nail tech put too many coats on but it just looked thick and uneven.I was very happy with the no chip mani. They had a lot of color options I haven't seen before and the quality of the polish I choose was excellent. A big reason why I went so last minute was because one of my gel fills had cracked horizontally and was causing me a lot of pain. I wanted to remove the gel fills altogether but Lily suggested I let them grow out so I could preserve my natural nail and I decided to follow her suggestion.By the time she started working on me the store was about 10 minutes from closing. She was able to work quickly but still do a good job and listen to my needs. She skipped filling in my nails and filed them down so once the polish was placed it was hard to see a where my nail ended and the gel overlay began. I also had a fresh, small cut on one finger and she worked around it without further injuring the area.Really the three stars are entirely for her and I would definitely recommend her. Unfortunately, I work with my hands a lot and my nail did end up breaking in half about a week later but all my other nails still look good. I don't think I'd go back for a pedicure but I'd def see Lily again. Read Less

Been coming here since June. I get no chip mani  and reg pedi for $45. Good deal. I got fake lashes here to before for $30. I came back a week after cause few of them came off they filled it with no charge. Nothing negative on this place. They are all nice and friendly Read Less

Friendly staff. Was very pleased that I came in on a Saturday afternoon and they took care of me right away.  I usually go to Luna nails but wanted to try something different. Over all I was very happy.  I don't think they did as good a job as I'm used to getting at Luna, but I was still very happy with my results.  The prices are a little cheaper than Luna, parking is easy, and they seem to do a very thorough job making sure to take the time.  One man came in to get his nails done and brought his dog, I thought it was very nice that they let the dog in because I know some pet owners have a hard time leaving their animals and this is very convenient for them.  I know that might turn some people of to have a dog there, but he sat with the guy the whole time and I like animals so I didn't mind at all. I wouldn't come here again at all the nail tech that was doing my fill in keep burning me with the machine and it wasn't only one time it was a a couple times I was going to get up and leave but everywhere else's would be busy that's why I came here then she did all different shapes just not even at all I wouldn't come here again to get my nails done Read Less

I initially found Nina's nails on yelp and was happy to see great reviews. It looked clean and welcoming.  When I called to make an appointment they were very accommodating. When I made it to my appointment that I had for a gel overlay- they kept asking if I wanted a pedicure. Once was fine... But to ask 3 times, really?! No is no!Then when it came to the actually service- my technician was rushing, (don't make 7:30pm appointments for clients of you want to leave at 8pm) and not really listening to what I wanted. But I kept calm telling her that I wanted a gel over lay- no artificial nail tip...which she kept insisting that I get. Because it wouldn't "work" without the nail tip. What she doesn't know is I'm a nail tech as well. I know that it works. Finally when the pushing stopped she finished my full set. The finished product was not acceptable. I asked for almond shaped nails- I got round. I asked for natural and thin, I received uneven and thick. And furthermore my nails were not fully covered with the over lay on the sides, making it look like I went to Walgreens a purchased press on nails. 2 days later I went back and explained that I was unhappy with the finished product. The same technician offered to fix them- which I appreciated.  What I didn't appreciate was that she was talking about me the whole time and telling me that I never Initially asked for what she was redoing.
