The first time I went to Chicago Nails, a manicurist called Linda performed my pedicure. She was very rough, dug into the corners of my nails, caused me pain and did not listen to me when I told her to cut my nails short. I left feeling angry. But I decided to try again with a different person and for the next few visits Hana did my pedicures. She is very careful, listens and is gentle. I walked out each time very satisfied. Yesterday I decided to have a manicure even though Hana is on vacation. Linda was available. She gouged my baby toe and cut the next 2 toes, never acknowledged she hurt me, never apologized and spent time getting the bleeding to stop with no explanation. I was not feeling well. When she was finished, she took my credit card, said $22 with a question mark in her voice, never made eye contact and I actually gave her a tip just to get away. Later I realized I had left my book at the store, so I phoned and went to retrieve it. I spoke to the manager, showed her my injured toes (which she rubbed with what I hope was antibiotic cream) and apologized. Linda never looked up although she heard the conversation. No one offered any refund. Manager said Hana would be back in 2 months. I will never patronize that place again. A bunch of inconsiderate jerks. If I could give the place a negative star, I would. They are really rude and they tell you right away to come back because they are busy without even saying hello first! This is the second time me trying to get my nails done here and they tell me the same thing!!!! NEVER AGAIN!Read Less

I had a good experience here. The shape and texture of my nails was bad due to some incorrect methods used by previous salon in SFO. However after a pedicure and manicure at Chicago Nails both my concerns were fixed. All my natural nails have a consistent shape, smooth texture and look stronger. I thank them for fixing my nails, no more chipping and peeling. I highly recommend this place! Read Less

I love the super relaxation you feel that only a mani/pedi can bring. I was out in Skokie visiting a friend and we came here. We didn't have an appointment, but we came at the perfect time. Only had to wait about 15 minutes and then it got busy.Plenty of colors to choose from. Mostly OPI and China Glaze. Pedicure chairs had the massage feature and the service was good. We were out in a little over an hour. Also price wasn't bad...$30 for both. Read Less

I took my four year old daughter to get her hands and feet painted for her birthday; the nail technician was patient, attentive, thorough and kind. (They even stayed well past their routine closing time to accommodate us.) Any place that provides quality nail services and quality customer service has earned a repeat customer in me!!!! Read Less

Of all the places i have had my nails done in the past nine years i must say this place is THE BEST of the best. I have been addicted to thier lush pedicures for the past four years...and at twenty bux you cannot go wrong for all the work they do...makes u look forward to every trip after ""Nina"" is done with your feetsies. I love the guy that does my nails also..forgive me but his name is either chris or lee ..he is definately the BEST for full sets of gel or acrylic....the best french manicures around for both pedicures and manicures..its done with a BRUSH by hand not an air brush where it ends up chipping a few days later..this lasts till your next visit and then some....
