She listens to what I want my lashes to look like and makes them look even better. She's very nice, professional and very informative. She was VERY patient and spent enough time gathering info that she knew what I wanted and did a FANTASTIC JOB! I love it! Found a long lost stylist I lost touch with. Dimitry. The absolutely greatest stylist in my life. That's the truth. He chose to come to Zaza day spa and salon In Lincolnshire. I admit before stepping into the door I assumed here we go... another NorthShore snooty attitude will hit me. Boy was I wrong. I had my hair cut and styled here several times and loved Zaza, I thought I had finally found a salon close to Home! Unfortunately, their massage service was less than impressive. The overall work of the woman who gave me the massage was perfect, the hot stones, massage lotions and oils were wonderful. What could go wrong? It was incredibly noisy outside of the room we were in. Someone walked into the massage room not once, not twice, but three times. I was mortified and also pretty confused. I informed the front desk afterwards what happened, and they told me their manager would give me a call later that day. Well, that was in February and he still hasn't called me! Coming from someone that have a lot of thick hair. Love my hair Dimitri and Helen did a great job. First time at Zaza, I don't easily trust my hair to anyone but I was at a point were my hair needed desperatly a cut and color so I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. Helen took time to ask me what I want and she did an excellent job. Dimitri give me his professional opinion after I told him what I usually get don, I was a little skeptic but I say worst case scenario hair grows, I took the risk and he surprise me (really hard job been very demanding and with high standards).He took time to stile my hair usually people just dry with a brush and never take the time to polish it. He took the time and really polish my hair and stile it with the flat iron leaving it softer, shiny and ligher. I was looking for a hairstylist that I can trust for so long and finally I found one. I am always very very pleased by Kelly and her work coloring my hair! Brie in the front was as friendly and helpful as can be and Cara who washed my hair gave a great scalp massage! This review is a little late. I was there in March for a manicure. At the time it was the first manicure I'd had in a LONG time, so I wasn't sure how to rate it since I didn't have anything to compare it to.Now I can say that they do a GREAT job, and I will surely be back if I'm ever in Chicago. The result really was flawless. The only problem I had, was that they used a blower instead of a UV light and my nails weren't completely cured for about a day. That being said, those lights are really bad for you anyway.My manicure lasted for 3 to 4 weeks without chipping. And this was just regular polish! Read Less

First time visiting Zaza. It seemed like it was a salon first that offered treatments like facials and massages. Calling it a day spa might be a bit of an overstatement. For that price point, other places in the area have nicer amenities for their spa, such as nicer waiting area, robes, slippers, lockers, sauna, full baths with supplies to get ready afterward. I waited in the regular salon area on an uncomfortable couch, dressed in the room and left my belongings off to the s...ide. Not exactly a spa day experience. Not to sound snobby, $100 is a lot of money on a facial and is a rare treat for me, but I could pay that at a competitor down the street and get a more spa like experience. So probably wouldn't go back for spa services because not a good value. I recently went to ZaZa for my wedding hair and makeup. I brought along my mother and maid of honor and I must say everything was fantastic! I was nervous when ZaZa called me to inform me that the Brenda (my make up artist for my trial) was no longer with the company and I would be with someone new; trusting the professionalism of ZaZa I knew I was in good hands.
