I read the reviewes and I didn’t believe. I made an appointment for no chip manicure with a design. When I got there I specified that I have an appointment for no chip with a design. The manager had one of the girls do my nails who didn’t know how to do designs. I ended up with six layers of nail polish on my ring fingers, because she was trying to do the design and finally just gave up. The manager was working next to her and did not say a word. I ended up with a totally different color than I originally wanted. All what the management is worried about is how many customers they can do in a short period of time and how much money they can make. They don’t care about their customers being happy. Read Less

The lady that didn’t nails was rude and kept changing the price. I came in for a FILL. I get my nails done every other week on the dot and just moved to the area. I came for a fill and That’s it I asked the price and she said 35 but 40 bc you want pointy (keep in mind that this was a fill not a full set so my nails were ALREADY shaped to Stilleto and really required no further work) when I pointed that out she said ok yeah 35 which honestly I think is overpriced for just a fill even for gel polish to begin with. I then picked my color, I always do a solid color and the ring finger a sparkle color. She then said okay it’s 40 then. I asked why do you keep changing the price and she said because I wanted one nail sparkley. It wasn’t a design just one nail a different color. I have NEVER had a salon charge extra for this in my life. This was unacceptable and it was all I could do to not tell her all about herself and getup andleave to take my business elsewhere. The only reason I didn’t is bc she had already started. It isn’t okay to be so greedy. I typocally tip 10$ no matter what. She got nothing but her overpriced 40$ and I will NOT be coming back. Another awesome job! I found them in Yelp with good reviews, and since I’ve been going- it seems like everyone in there is a repeat customer and they legitimately do a great job. I get the ‘dip’ where they use powder to color on my natural nail and it lasts longer than a no chip, does not peel and it very strong! Love this place! Read Less

I really wanted to love this place since I'm looking for a new nail salon and this place has such good reviews, but unfortunately I can't give more than 3 stars. And I'm only giving 3 stars because  I watched other technicians while I was there and they were so much better and nicer than the one I had, so I guess I just had bad luck with mine... Anyway, I can only review what I experienced:After I was asked to pick my color nobody really approached me, so I was standing an awkward amount of time waiting for somebody. Then, finally a lady came and pointed me to a chair. Since there were couple empty I wasn't sure which one, so I sat down. Of course in the wrong one. When I moved to the correct one, no question about 'how is the water'. She just handed me a pink sheet with the pedicure options. No further commend. I figured what she wanted and said 'number 2' and that was it. No further conversation with me (which is fine) BUT with her co-worker, doing a pedicure right next to her.... They were talking almost the entire  time in their language which started being super annoying after a while. I didn't complain, just hoped they would stop, but they didn't. So, no relaxation there. Very frustrating. That is not good customer service. I understand if they have to talk about something real quick, but for almost 40 minutes while the pedicure lasted? Not cool. Result was ok, not much more though. And it's hard to say something nice when you are already super frustrated with the whole thing. The no chip manicure, done by a guy, was better. I had a great experience at Nail Circle for my first visit. The owner Raymond greeted me and was so welcoming. He seated me right away for a pedicure. It's very clean! Helen did an amazing job and took her time making sure my pedicure was perfect. She didn't like the texture of the nail polish and replaced it with a fresh bottle even after she had already painted one nail. She is very sweet and hard working. I highly recommend this establishment. Everyone is very nice and it seems like they have a lot of regulars, which shows me that people like it there. If I could give this 0 stars I would I asked for black and i ended up with dark blue and my sparkle you could see through NEVER GO HERE my firends nails took no time which is great and my shouldn't take as long hour and a half for a gel manicure it should be around 45 minutes it is horrible quality how do you get blue and black mixed up Read Less

I was looking for a new nail salon in the area and have tried about 3-4 spots and THANKFULLY landed on Nail Circle. I was going to Sandy (who has recently moved and left :( ) but switched to Raymond who is the master of gel nails! I am super picky about shape and thickness and I with Raymond I didn't even have to change one thing about the way he did my set! I already set up my next appointment and am very happy. I thought I had put a review on here before but I guess I did not....I am not happy. I have come here several times and the first time was a nightmare... I got a woman who was not happy that she was getting a customer because she wanted to go and you can imagine the work she had done, quick, sloppy, my nails were crooked, my nail beds were cut up etc. I told the owner of what was going on and I was not happy... he did nothing but say come see us again and I do the nails. Well I went back a month later sat and waited for the owner...of course he did amazing nails and I got exactly what I wanted....Fabulous! The. A third time I came back his time with my husband and we got pedis and eyebrow wax. Well the lady who did my husbands feet did amazing on he feet but burned him when waxing eyebrows plus cut his nose when he did it ask for her to do anything with his nose hairs. He was pissed and miserable for over a week because every time he slept or blinked the burn would open up and he would bleed.... so regards to say it has been and up and down with this place if you go. I say see the owner or his wife and that's it otherwise risk of getting some moody, don't want to be there lazy person who does not care about you or your nails. The no-chip manicure and regular pedicures seem to last forever and the atmosphere is friendly.  Prices are reasonable.   I have been here 10+ times and never had to wait longer than 10 minutes even without an appointment. Love this place! Read Less

I have been going to Nail Circle for nearly 2 years and have never had a bad experience. Tracy does my no-chip manicures and occasional pedicures and I highly recommend her, she really does a VERY nice job. I have never been disappointed. If I can give this place zero stars I would. We made an appointment with Raymond the owner for 2 pm on a Sunday on the Saturday before. We watched him right it in his book and we marked in our phones. When we arrived on Sunday at exactly 2 pm Raymond the owner yelled across the room In front of all of his customers that we were supposed to be there by 1 pm and proceeded to tell us that they were too busy to take us. He flat out turned us away like he didnt care that he made a mistake. We have been coming there for years and can't believe he would embarrass us in front of everyone. We will NEVER go back! This owner does not care about his customers. If he continues with that type of an attitude, he won't have any customers! I recommend one of the many other nail salons in the area.Read Less

I am happy to finally have a place nearby that I can come back to again. I am very picky when it comes to nails. I don't need smart designs and huge acrylics. I am a business profesional, I like natural nudes or dark. But I need to make sure the technician pays attention and files the nails professionally, even length and no one corner higher than the other. I also like the nail bed to be completely covered with a polish, nothing missed. Shouldn't be too hard for someone who does it day in and day out. Surprisingly it's not the case. But the girl who took care of me was artful, gentle, caring, didn't get offended when I asked to make correction. It turned out nice. Will definitely come back again. Read Less

YES YES YES! This is my GO TO place! I absolutely love Ramen. He knows your name, nails, and he is an absolute perfectionist! If you're looking for high quality and a place that will take their time, this is the one. The only thing that I would say they could improve on, is maybe provide heated neck pillows or a little back rub while your nails are drying. There are a lot of other nail salons that offer those extra services for free to make the experience that much better! No Chip Manis are $33 which is a good price. I have never wrote a review on yelp before but after my experience at nail circle today, I felt it was necessary. I live in California but am in Chicago visiting family. I must say that is hands down (pun intended ) the BEST manicure I've ever had. Owner Raymond did a wonderful job on my sisters nails and Ron did an equally fabulous job on my nails as well. Went to this place based on the review...So, I went for a pedi and full set..Upon entry place was super clean, spacious salon, I was greeted upon entry and taken take if immediately.Pedi was first, the experience was nice, for the 30 minute $25.00 pedicure I felt like it was good enough, they have other levels of Pedi where you will pay more for more scraping but  a little too pricey.The painting of the toes was clean but poor, she did not paint on side of the nail well and I didn't notice until it was too late.Accrilyc, I never get fake nails..well used to years ago and I had them done this time for a super special occasion, this girl cut the living out of my finger with her file, nail chipped 5 hours later and I told her I wanted nice and thin looking nails and she gave me thick nails they would have been thicker if I didn't tell to file more, I kept telling her to file, I almost had a crooked nail because she used too much acrylic. Not the best on that there. I had better when I used to do fake nails oftenService was not bad, staff is friendly, but this girl needs more practice or use less product on nails. As soon as I walked in the door, I was blown away by the hospitality each person gave me and the service I received, was nothing short of pure amazing-ness! I found this place when I moved to the area. It's very clean and they do a nice job on pedicures and no chips. For pedicures, they use a plastic liner for the bowls, which is SUPER nice because you don't have to have you feet touch the same bowl as everyone else.Added bonus is that they are open on Sundays! Nail Circle is my favorite nail salon in the area. I have gone to places from Aurora to Glenview to McHenry and Nail Circle exceeds all expectations. The Owner, Raymond, is friendly, professional, and does a great job organizing and scheduling clients so that there is hardly ever a wait for a service. The staff is warm and all do a great job. I went to nail circle yesterday because the place I had normally gone couldn't get me in. After realizing that I had to get a whole new set after just two weeks. The staff at Nail Circle took great care of me I didn't have an appointment. They soaked off my old set from the previous salon after previous salon had jacked up my nails and Raymond squeezed me in and was able to make my nails look exactly how I wanted them to look. The staff is so incredibly friendly and always helpful. I've been getting my nails done for 4-5 years and there has only been a few times that they look better than they do now. I came here and a younger gentleman did my nails. He had tattoos on his arms from what I recall. He was good at what he did, but was very cocky when I asked him if he could polish my nails a certain way. Love this place simply because for a really reasonable (read: cheap) price, I got exactly what I wanted. I got a set of acrylics for $32 and they looked great, two to three weeks later and they're still going strong. The technician was perfectly nice and the ambiance was nice and clean. I arrived there at 1:20 today and asked if they had time for a pedi/mani, they said no problem. I immediately was sat in a chair with my feet soaking. 20 minutes went by nobody said anything to me and nobody came to start! I took my feet out of the water because they were getting pruney... Then I sat with my feet out of the water for another 20+ minutes... I wasted over 40 minutes and got nothing done! Got up, put my shoes back on, walked out and still no one said anything!
