I have never had a issue at purlux anytime I have ever had my nails or toes done ! Ashley and Aaron are both great people and nail techs ! If i am ever not satisfied with something there, they are both easy to talk to and they will fix the issue , They always get me in at last minute if i need it . Got a Purlux's Choice Pedicure with gel polish. The water was cold. The man was extremely rough and unfriendly. It literally felt like torture. I wanted to stop midway through. The polish looked nothing like the swatch. VERY UNHAPPY. The staff was constantly telling "Alexa" to change the music---which went from house music to instrumental shit and was not relaxing at all. Gal wasn't happy that I picked the $28 Basic Pedi instead of the $37 Deluxe.. I didn't realize that an ankle scrub came with a pedi. She used that porous pad on my heals and was talking over her shoulder and she scraped my ankle. I jerked my foot back and she scowled at me, grabbed my foot and continued scraping my ankle while still talking over her shoulder. I yelled OUCH and she threw the pad down. My ankle hurts and has visible scrapes on it. She also dug and dug around my cuticles and they hurt. Also didn't get all the old color off before coating my nails with only one coat of color and a top coat. I won't be going back. I was the only customer there the entire time this morning.... I was a walk in and was in a chair within 5 minutes. I just wanted my real nails painted with shellac but the tech insisted I get a full on manicure. I agreed reluctantly but she did a nice job. When it came time to paint my nails she started with the color I picked, and then claimed there was something wrong with it so she found the closest color she could to the one I picked. All fine until she stopped painting and started gossiping with another worker for a solid 5 minutes. She didn't make it a point to paint the sides of my nails and two days after I got them done they had chipped, which I find discouraging because it cost me $31 and I picked shellac specifically because it's supposed to last longer than regular polish. Poor customer service, very brusque personnel and felt they were rude. No one showed us the second wall of nail polish to choose from. When we asked about a design and showed us a picture of what we wanted they laughed at us and basically said we were ridiculous because they couldn't do the design. My technician told me several times she "wasn't a professional" , even thought their radio ad specifically said "ask about our professional design specialists" . Just disappointed overall. Read Less

Worst nail salon experience ever. I've been to dozens of nail salons in several different cities, and this was the worst experience, and the worst nail job ever. I have small hands and feet, therefore, I have smaller nails. My nails are not short, but I wouldn't describe them as long. The male nail "artist"who did my toes pointed this out 5 times, and repeatedly said, "nails so small, so hard, so tough". I was then transferred to the front area of the salon for another nail "artist" to begin on my hands. She took one look at my fingers, shook her head and said "so small, so hard, so tough, not going to be good". I told her, "I know I have small nails, just do your best." The nail "artist" then bumped my foot under the table, ruining the still wet nail polish on my toes. She begins working on my nails, and then pauses to rattle off something in Thai to the other workers while she is shaking her head and pointing at my nails. I tell her again, "I know my nails are small, just do your best." She then tries to convince me that she wasn't talking about me, to no avail. She finishes my nails without another word. I get up to go pay the rediculous fee of $60 for the shittiest work I've ever seen, I realize that my toes are ruined, tell the nail artist, and she goes "it your fault." By now, I'm over it, and I realize there is no reasoning with any of these workers, and I just want to leave. I pay, give both "artists" tips, and another male nail artist (who never worked on my nails) yells, "wheres my tip? hahaha" ugh. Obviously, I was not in the mood. Never going back to this place. I went here regularly at first, but the service has just went down hill in the last few months.  The last time I had my nails done, they did such a poor job "hiding" the lines with my acrylic set.  When I mentioned it, the girl just shrugged it off.  My husband even noticed the poor job!!  Today I had an appointment at 4:45 and waited 2o minutes.  When the lady came up to our chairs in the waiting area, she took a family of three who came in 10 minutes after me!!!!  What????  Then the manager took me back to a seat to get my nails filled and just left me to do another pedicure!  This place is beautiful but they have the worst service.  I will never set foot in there again.  Appointments mean nothing to these people!
