I'm from NYC and visiting family in the area. I really needed my feet and hands done and my sister and I decided to try out this place since it's the closest nail salon to my mother in laws house. I walked in and was told to pick a color. Not even 10 seconds into looking for a polish, I hear people screaming for us to be seated. I automatically felt rushed and started having second thoughts about giving them my business. I decided to stay and get my pedi and mani. I instantly noticed rudeness from the lady doing my sisters feet. The lady doing my feet was no trouble at all. But the lady doing my sisters feet continued to be rude. She was rough with her services, without a word, she walked over to her massage chair and turned it off. My sister and I was confused and then she started telling her to go to the manicure table. We then realized she was done with the pedicure. While getting her manicure, she made my sister bleed on the side of her nail twice, and was just rude with a angry face the whole time. The lady doing my nails always maintained professional. When it was time to pay, because of her service, my sister decided not to tip. The lady who did her nails swiped the credit card and watched over the shoulders waiting to see how much tip would be written down on the receipt. When she notice no tip, she snatched the paper off the counter, slammed it down on her desk and walked away without saying a word. About 5 hrs later when we was at my mother in laws house, my sister showed me where her polish was being lifted off her nail and chipping. This place is horrible. I had to return a second time after they messed up my nails. I paid $25 for just gel nail polish. The nail color I got was a neon pink when it was supposed to be a light/baby pink. I came back to complain and ask them to redo my nails. When I told them the color was wrong they told me, "the colors show up different from the display." After they corrected my nails the told me they will only take off $2! Very disappointed that they do not take responsibility for their mistakes. I used to be a regular customer. Terrible experience. The man who did my pedi didn't bother to clean my toe nails, trim them, file them ..nada. He soaked my feet in hot water and walked away, came back and painted my toes. I literally has to ask for a file and do my own!!!!! Then the other guy who did my manicure asked me about 5 times if I wanted a no chip, I would say no and he would then speak Korean to his coworker then once again try to upsell me the no chip. When he finally realized I wasn't getting it, he half painted my nails. I need them redone again after 5 days when they usually last 12. They do a TERRIBLE job. I would never go back. Read Less

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. These people did my nails and my feet just ok (It was a great job). But when it came time to pay, they told me that my debit card (they have no chip reader btw)was not working. I said "it does work, I just used it." they said "well it's not enough money on there". Then she called the owner or the manager over and he began to accuse me of not having enough money. He told me that his machine works fine and they insisted that I leave my wallet or my phone or my car keys behind while I go get the money. I explained I should not have to leave my valuables with them because their machine is not working. I told them I will gladly walk a few steps over to the bank and get some cash from the same card. They said no. I explain to them well then you won't get paid. Finally I agreed to leave my driver's license and walk next door. After the manager or owner argued with me about me not having enough money in my account, I got the money from the same card next door, proving that something is wrong with their machine. I came back and explained to the manager "here's my receipt you can verify the last four digits is the same on my card because there was enough money".  Instead he apologized like a great owner would he ignored me and continued doing the customers feet. I will NEVER go back there and I will NEVER recommend this place for nail service. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced the most embarrassing customer service moment I've ever experienced in my entire life!!! The worst nail salon experience I've ever had! The nail tech was in a hurry, put old no-chip polish on my nails then had to remove it with a file buffer! The buffer made my nails thin and brittle! I  could go on and on...never going there again! Read Less

I came in today to get a gel fill with no chip polish. I told everyone before I came in that I was extremely picky with my nails so I need the best nail tech in there. They sat me with some man who couldn't even match the shape of my other nails when fixing a broken one. Then a woman came to fix the tip he put on to fix my nail.  She couldn't fix two other broken nails that I had so they sat me with another man. He then put tips on me to the point where they curved ridiculously. So two nails are curved and 8 are not. I told him that's not gonna fly with me and he yelled at me. One of those experiences where I should not have paid. I doubt my manicure lasted 10 minutes, the guy had a bad attitude, wore headphones and was in a rush. He put my hands in cold water, pushed back cuticles, filed and painted. That is it, I asked him about oil and he said he'd add later. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe they did their manicures differently and in a different order from other salons. Nope, he skipped half my manicure! I have been a customer for several years, getting an occasional mani or pedi or eyebrow wax. The paint jobs were average at best, but for $12 what can you expect? And the waxes were always a toss up depending on who felt like getting up and doing it. Though the wax was always dirty and full of bits of hair. I accepted this for a while, but I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK AGAIN. And you shouldn't either. They will do a piss poor job and scam you when they get the chance. My last time there I went in for an eyebrow wax. The lady did a fine job. So, I decided to tip her. Which I didn't normally do for the 3 minute service. The wax was $8 and I tipped her $2. Making my total $10. I threw away the receipt because I'd been going here for years and I've never once had a problem. A week or so goes by and I check my bank account and I see they charged me for $30. Queue my regret for throwing away the receipt. So, I go in with my credit card and bank statement to show i was billed incorrectly, and tell them what happened. And the moment they realize I want my money put back on my card, they begin to act like they don't speak english very well. DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU. They speak it very well. Then several of them tried to gang up on me and say that they'd never do that. I asked them to show me the receipt they had that I signed because I know they keep a book with all of them in there based on dates. They kept going through the wrong dates and I repeatedly had to tell them that it was a different date. They tried to find my receipt by testing my signature instead of matching it to my credit card. Another woman in the store stood up for me and told them how to find it, because she's a manager at Best Buy and every company has policies for this type of thing. Before she left she told me not to let them bully me cause it was clear they were trying to intimidate me by passing me over to each other. Eventually they found my receipt that said $10 and a woman said "See! We would never take your money! It say $10, that's how much we took. Never anything more. Go to your bank and they have to work it out." So I went to my bank and filed a transaction dispute, and the banker said it'd be okay I didn't have my receipt because they have the copy of theirs and if they were so adamant on being honest then they wouldnt fight it but if they did they'd have proof that I didn't pay that much. So the money went back and all is fine until I got a letter from the bank saying they were fighting it and that i'd have to show proof of receipt which I didn't have. My bank said I'd have to get the receipt from them and I just didn't want to bother anymore because I was so disgusted with my treatment there the last time I was there. So, I let them take the $20 out because I'm blessed enough to have had enough to do that.  Which is a silly mindset now that I reflect on it. People get away with piss poor service when you allow them to. No matter the price, we give a company our hard earned money and we should be given a well done service and if we're not we must speak up. Read Less

I went in to get a fill in. The man who did my nails was doing an ok job (minus talking in a different language and not being able to understand anything I said making it extremely awkward).Up until it was time to pay (before the paint) I gave him my card because I wasn't so pleased with his services and decided if he did a decent job I'd tip him at the end.Once he saw I wasn't tiping him he caught the biggest attitude AND SPED thru the paint job. I had globs on my hand and he told me to just sit under the dryer. It smudged ofcourse after waiting half an hour-- and it WAS NO WHERE NEAR DRY. I told him he painted it to thick and he rolled his eyes and walked off. I talked to a woman walking by and she said she'd fix it.Her definition of fixing was putting MORE nail polish on top of the smudge. I'm not a confrontational person but I was burning and told her to please paint my nails. She did without showing much attitude but the man just glared and flipped through his magazine. I walked in close to closing last evening and had a manicure. It was a very good manicure. The woman who did my nails took her time, was very careful with my cuticles, and let the polish dry between coats. I was playing in the sand on the beach this afternoon and nothing has scratched or chipped. That seems like a pretty good regular manicure to me. The price is now $13. Read Less

I hate to give bad reviews but I received the worst manicure here.  I honestly could have done a better job myself.  He took my nails way too short, filed them badly and slapped several uneven coats of polish on.  I almost asked for my money back but I didn't feel like going through the trouble with the communication barrier.  Everyone seemed nice enough but unfortunately the service they are delivering is terrible. The service here is just ok.. I get annoyed when the nail technician is not responsive or acts as if they can not understand what I am requesting.. The service was fast so i can not complain about the wait time.  My nail tech kept trying to convince me to get gel and a no chip overlay, which I had to keep repeating to him that I did not want that., I only wanted a no chip on my natural nail. The price was 30 for the no chip but i was sooo not worth it! I got this done on a Friday afternoon and by the end of the weekend (Monday) , this no chip started cracking and on the polish on my fore finger completely peeled off ! I should have just gotten a pedi only and polished my own nails.. I would not recommend this place for a no chip.... Maybe they should up the quality of their polish because this is worse than regular nail polish on a natural nail.  They did have a large variety of colors, but what good is that if the polish does not last long??  Never going back. Got a pedi and full set acrylic with no chip. Everything was done so fast and they didn't even bother giving a massage on my legs or anything. I had cuticles on my finger nails that they never even bothered removing. It was supposed to be a relaxing enjoyable experience and instead I just felt like they were just trying to get rid of me. I would have rather saved my $75 and done my own nails at home!! Read Less

I had major cuticles and I was preparing for attending a friend's wedding this coming weekend and every few days I had to go in and have my cuticles professionally done so it wouldnt ruin my french manicure. The salon is clean and organized and any equipment used such as a cuticle scraper and nail clippers were sanitized and sterilized and if you saw the tools lined up on a metal tray or on a clean towel they used autoclaves to sterilize their instruments. The nail tech was very courteous and made sure my nails were looking nice and they were looking really good. I only go to places where I know the techs won't jack up my nails and this is the 3rd place that  I found thats clean and staff treats customers well. Check them out they're on the main strip of stores in Homewood on the west side of the street. Only deal with nail techs that areolder  at least in their 20s 30 and 40s the really young ones are not experienced enough and still need more time and training before working in someone else's salon. An even bigger plus is the staff greeting you in the door. Read Less
