If I could rate this place 0 stars I would, horrible experience. Came in for a fill just because I didn't have time to drive to my nail spa , so I made a quick appt to stop by here . Nails done by some lady named Lucy . Absolutely did an awful job . Polish left , too thin to the point it hit my nail . My nails look disgusting. After 1 hour my nails were still not dry and have markings all over them . Highly don't recommend this place . Need a good place to get your nails done , go to Shirley nails in wheeling . Hands down the most professional and nicest group of ladies! They give the best pedicures and gel manicures. I stand on my feet all day over 40 hrs a week and when I leave here I feel like a new refreshed person. They listen to what you want and have you check to see if you would like anything adjusted. I usually do call to make a appointment and rarely wait when I arrive. When calling they are happy to help and remember your name quickly. The place is clean and very welcoming. Highly recommend!! I was referred to this place by one of my clients and was asked to request for Helen. Training as an esthetician, I have to have short nails . I've been looking for a place who will do real natural looking short acrylic nails with a no chip... I have to say...I am beyond impressed with Helen. When I moved to the north shore, I could not find anybody who could do an acrylic set that would last. I went to several places all over the north shore and they would all chip or break in a week or less. I was so happy when I found this place! My nails would last at least 2-3 weeks and I am pretty rough on them. I can't remember the lady's name who would do my nails (sorry) but she is almost always there and usually the only one doing nails. She always did a great job on my acrylics! She gave me a few pedicures too and they were great! I miss this place now that I'm not living in the area anymore. Read Less

Walk-ins accepted. Kim, my nail tech is super nice and accommodating, but my style of nails is not really something anybody around these parts does. So frustrating! She did OK, except my nails are too wide & not as long as I wanted - they also don't have "my shape", so they look so different, but at least my nails are done & I'm not going to get stuck on the little things. When I went in in May for a mani/pedi the mentioned new ownership (within the previous month). The new owner gave me a business card and was super friendly. They didn't have exactly the polish color I wanted so they offered to open a new one. My nail technician (Domiana? I forget her name but it started with a D) was EXTREMELY friendly and knew what she was doing. She asked made great conversation which I liked, but I didn't feel obligated to talk if I would've preferred to just relax.Overall just a great experience. Read Less

I have been a customer of the nail technicians at Professional Nail Spa for 12 years (I started going to them at their sister location in Evanston, Evanston Nails). They do a wonderful job for a fair price. They won't rush you which I love especially when I want to feel pampered. If I'm in a hurry and need an express service I simply tell them and they get me in and out without compromising quality of service or results. I recommend giving them a try. Read Less
