I had high expectations about this nail salon, and I was so disappointed in my nails. The shape is gauky, nail shape is uneven, I asked for coffin shape and got half square half coffin. I originally wanted just fill ins (acrylic nail) and they told me that they couldn’t do fill ins for acrylic?? okay..... . so I decided to get a new full set of ACRYLIC nail but they just did the dips w no acrylic probably just to get me out of there! Had the wonderful pleasure of taking my Momma to get her nails done for her first time ever for her Mother's Day! She was concerned about the time due to an appointment she had to be at. Not only did they make SURE that she was done in more than enough time, they did perfect for her and she completely enjoyed the experience and LOVED her results!!! I was SO glad I had this place a try! Amazing experience! I have made an appointment before as well, very quickly! My technician was gentle with my nails and checked in with me. It's very wonderful! I always arrive Fancy Nails and Spa because it's right near my house. It's so FANTASTIC. I've never had a better experience. My technican is fun to chat to. She explained the difference between gel and acrylic to choose from. They have a very high standard for the safety of clients. If you're looking for a place for superb looking nails, come here! I went to Fancy Nails and Spa with a friend for a girls day. This salon was fantastic! My first impression of this store was already very good from the moment I stepped in. I was disappointed. I used to go to the other place on 13 but was impressed with Fancy Nails. I went there half a dozen times until the owner (he) did my nails for the last time. He placed press on nails but with glue. I couldn't believe. I wanted French tip. My nails looked stupid. I was going to say something but didn't think he was done until he said that will be $$$ I am not one to complain in person. I get nervous. Now here in Harrisburg are two nail salons and I don't want to go to neither. I will try Fancy Nails one more time and be more vocal. If I get the same treatment, then I am done with them. Took my daughter and friends to get pedis for her birthday. Nail designs by Sonny and Vihn were amazing. The other woman was crazy. She burned my daughter with hot water, messed both of our nail designs up and didn't fix them, but made me pay for it anyway.Not a good way to do business. Sad.
