By far the best manicure I have ever received!! I have been to several places and this one beats them all. I got a dip manicure in Chicago and it absolutely DESTROYED my nails, but I went to Imperial and they fixed me nails and made them look beautiful as always. This manicure lasts me 3 weeks and I always leave feeling beautiful. Ken is fabulous, and Karen is too! They do the shape exactly how I want it. Best place ever! Read Less

I've been here three times total. The two times I had great experiences. All times I've had a no chip manicure done. The last time I got a no chip manicure and after TWO days I started I see little cracks all over every nail. One nail was even chipped. I was pretty pissed so I went back into the store. They said they would fix the chipped nail but tried to tell me that I was rough on my nails (which i was NOT) and that it was dirt under the nails because I chose white nail polish. Look, I've had two other manicures with no chip polish and never saw my nail polish chipping. I'm not impressed. They said they would fix the nails that needed fixing just this time (which they didn't fix all the nails that were cracked).  I'm just disappointed. They had good customer service and i'm glad they fixed the few nails that they did but they gave me crap about the cracks and tried to blame it on me. I don't think I will be back, at least not for a gel manicure. Read Less

It was my first time there.. As soon as I walked in Winston greeted me and asked if I wanted anything to drink.. Very clean and calming temperature was perfect.. Everyone who works there extremely nice and welcoming.. I was totally relaxed and pampered.. This is my new place for my mani/pedi.. If it had more stars to push I would 10+.. I have to say, until today, this was my neighborhood go to mani/pedi place. The last 3x I've been in, it's taken just a little over 2 hours for a mani/pedi...& it hasn't been crazy busy. Today though, was the icing on the cake. The guy who gave me my pedicure was new (not his fault), had no idea what he was doing, and gave me a bad pedicure to boot. They knew too, that I wasn't happy with my pedicure, they apologized for it actually. Then, when I went to pay, the credit card machine was either not working or running extremely slow. After waiting about 3 minutes, I realized that I actually had cash on me, so I paid & got out of there. All in all, a very frustrating, expensive and unrewarding experience. Read Less

It was my first time here tonight and in two years of living here I can say I've never been more satisfied. Although they were busy my service of no chip mani and pedi was NOT compromised. So I am always very loyal to my nail salon - and when I find a good one, I stick to it.After being disappointed at my previous location for service that just kept declining, I decided to try Imperial based on the suggestions of several friends.I was beyond satisfied!I made an appointment and was quickly seated upon walking in. Almost immediately I was offered something to drink. They had a selection of magazines and NBC Sports was on as well - something for everyone!The atmosphere is very serene! There are TVs and quiet music playing, but the location is spacious and there is not much noise at all! There are 4 rows of chairs for manicures, and each row has two seats... making it ideal if you want to get your nails done with someone.Kelly does an amazing job and makes sure every nail is the same length, that you are well polished, and that everything looks amazing. She helped me settle my color dilemma- and was able to suggest the perfect color to several others while I was there.No Chip + Pedi special is $55! Regular Mani and Pedi is $35, I believe! Read Less

Her own nails were very well put together and she had some cute Christmas designs on them. I ended up getting a snowflake on my nails due to how well her nails looked. Fabulous nail spa. Just moved here and I always do my research of where to go. They just opened 4 months ago. I look for 2 things. Cleanliness meaning liners in tubs to prevent fungus and patience with trimming cuticles. I hate cuticles Bc if any are left I'll pick at them!! Both they excel on!! They have a large assortment of gel colors which is imperative. Their prices are competitive as well. Kelly and Helen are my go to but everyone else that works there is equally as talented so I've heard. My nails and toes never looked so good!! Read Less

Sorry to say, I got nail fungus on my toe after using this place. A month or so after my last visit, I removed my polish to let my toes "breathe" before getting another pedicure. I then noticed the large nail was yellow under the tip. It got progressively worse, causing it to discolor, thicken and crumble. I had to lay off polish for a while and aggressively treat. I would like to comment on a nail technician at Imperial Nail Salon in Glenview. ...her name is Helen.  I have had Helen do my pedicure now for about 3 months.  I will only make my appointments with her because of the awsome job she does.  She is very personable. ..always remembers my name and things we have talked about at previous appointments.  She is very meticulous and professional  in her work.  I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Helen to anyone who is looking for a nail technician . I stumbled on this little gem of a nail salon when I needed a manicure and pedicure for my son's special event. There "Grand Opening Special sign" in the window caught my eye. While trying to find the rear entrance from the back parking lot; I bumped into two ladies that works at the hair salon next door. I asked them if they were familiar with the salon. They raved abt the great job the salon does especially Jenny.  I can see why! Everyone is super nice, very professional as they greet every person that walks in, and the salon is extremely clean. They give everyone there own nail kit. You can take it with you or they throw it away. I had a relaxing pedicure in spa massage chair that's gives great massage that can be custom to your comfort level.   I'm very particular with my pedicure. Jenny did a nice job ensuring I was completely satisfied. My mani was done just as well. So much so that I treated my son to his first manicure. Jenny is also awesome with nail designs which is no additional charge. Never came across another salon that offers this-such a deal! Her suggestions on polish colors and designs are geared towards your comfort. I love bright colors and usual designs. Normally, I like to see the design before they do it but I stepped out of my comfort zone and allowed Jenny to choose both my colors and designs. Love it is an understatement ;). She's awesome! Through my rants and raves, my girlfriend Judy decided to give them a try when she had a special occasion to attend. Her experience was exactly the same. I came across this place by chance and I am so happy that I did. This nail salon is great. The people are wonderful and very accommodating. The salon itself is very clean and I believe everything is brand new. I was told that it's under new management now and it seems to be working well. This was my second time in and I couldn't be happier. I get them done by a young man there and he is just wonderful at what he does. He takes all my crazy Pinterest pictures and makes them a reality haha. They are always having some sort of grand opening sale so definitely worth the money.
