I hate to be that person leaving a bad review on yelp, because I am not by any means a tough woman to please, but I have been here twice. The first time I was not very impressed. But I decided to give it one more chance. I'm glad I did because now I know where I personally shouldn't go for acrylic sets. I had the same issue as my previous visit. I don't know much about doing nails, but I could tell not much effort was put into both times. Both times, my nails weren't sanded down evenly, because both times, my acrylics started lifting up after just a few days, and even chipped away towards the cuticles. Hasn't been a week yet and my index finger already cracked.. While on that note, she almost let me walk out with an incomplete paint job for the second time. I don't think it's asking much for a thorough service. Now if this was free, I wouldn't dare complain. But still, even if it's not much money, I still expect to pay for a job well done. (I still tipped both times for those who are probably wondering.) so I guess this is my final tip: value your customers, and take pride in your work. I would have a hard attack if I ran a small business to find out my workers are doing unsatisfactory work. Two stars because they look good from far away. Read Less

NV Nails is okay, but I would not return there again. The lady giving me a pedicure did do a good job. Its just that the place is small and dated. There are 3 or 4 older pedicure chairs, and 3 nail stations. The pedicure chairs had massage function, but working them was a bit off. Service charges were standard compared to other nail salons; a standard pedicure cost me $25 plus $5 tip. I feel it should have been cheaper. A business with obviously cheaper operating expenses should pass that on to its customers. Compared to other nail places in the area, I believe its only fair to give NV Nails 2 stars. Read Less

Not quite understanding the previous review that was left with one star. Makes no sense. I have been going here for years and the salon is run and staffed by only 2 ladies that's it. It's very nice this way because if you are a repeat customer you get to know them and they get to know you. Makes for a welcoming feeling. I have never made an appointment and they always try to get to walk ins as soon as they can. I like this place so much I drive 30-40 minutes from home to come here. Read Less

The ladies here are always helpful, accommodating, and very nice. They have a large selection of nail colors (a lot of no chip colors too). They usually aren't too busy but I would suggest calling ahead just in case. The prices are extremely reasonable, always for an excellent job. If for some reason your nail chips/breaks, they will fix it for free. Read Less

Got a full set and the same exact day 2 nails fell off. A day later 2 more fell off; one from opening my wallet and the other one from putting my shoe on. Got them repaired and now 2 broke off again. Haven't even been done for a week yet. Would not recommend coming here Read Less

I've been coming to this salon for almost 3yrs & lately it's service has been slacking. I came in two months ago as a walk-in & another customer rudely asked me if I had an appointment? The nail tech then approached me asking me to return in an hour. If you're going to have an appointment, wouldn't it make sense to staff accordingly for the day as walk-ins are possible? I ended up going to another salon that day, aggravated. I happened to be already shopping in the area today & needed a to get my nails done so I thought why not give them another try. Shouldn't have bothered or wasted my time. Their hours clearly say they 10am on weekdays but its Wednesday morning at 11am & they aren't open. Convenient. I won't waste my time here again.
