Went in to use a gift voucher and was told they could only do it now if I paid cash. If I used the voucher I had to make an appointment and come back. Very disappointed and terrible customer service. Speaking at me in another language, so who knows what was being said. I will not go back there, be careful buying vouchers, they are happy to take your money but NOT willing to honour the voucher. I came here with Adriana S. after a long day at work. The decor is beautifully chic and the staff friendly. We were walk-ins, we came in and were welcomed quickly. It was apparently a slow day so we didn't have to wait at all.I had a no-chip manicure ($40) and Adriana asked for a regular manicure. Our nail techs were quiet but gentle on our hands. Half way through Adriana's manicure she noticed her nail tech was giving her a no-chip manicure, which she hadn't asked for but she just went with it, kind of feeling the pain of an extra $10 or $15. The manicure was amazing and included a quick shoulder massage, which I wasn't expecting. My nails lasted a full 3 weeks, which is great for a gel manicure (they usually last about 2 weeks for me).I probably won't be coming back, since it's too pricey for me but if you've got the cash and want to feel extra pampered, go for it! I just came to Originail Salon for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. Tracy did my pedicure and Ally did my manicure. They both were so kind and paid great detail to my nails. Very welcoming and friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your manicure/pedicure. I love the extra touches such as the hot stone massage with the pedicure. Their facilities are very clean and conveniently located and the instruments are sterilized after each use and their prices are very reasonable. I had the Ultimate Pedicure and the Classic Manicure earlier tonight, and it was amazing!!! The Ultimate Pedicure includes two scrubs, a warm oil massage, a paraffin wax, a hot stone massage, and the typical pedicure foot treatments. It. was. awesome. My technician barely talked to me, which I love because I'm an introvert, and I like to just relax. (For example, I hate it when my stylist tries to chat with me during a hair cut.) But she was very kind and asked me questions if she needed to. The whole experience was extremely relaxing.Also, my nails look great. It's the best polish I've ever received. My technician's attention to detail was great. She painted everything, then went back with a small brush to remove any polish from my skin. Facilities were also impeccably decorated and clean! I've been Coming with my friend to metro Nails now for 1years and I would never go anywhere else, it's like my second home, the staff are amazing ...it's a great atmosphere , lovely people, always up to chat and have a laugh, the work they do is fantastic! Worst experience ever. I wanted my fake nails off and instead of telling me it would be better to leave them on and have them redone as they were still as stuck on as they were when I first got them, the guy destroyed my nails. Basically ripped off my pinky nail and put a bit cut that bled in another. I ended up walking out and going to another salon that fixed them as best they could. Had my nails done today with colour. I was left with my little pinky in pain after she had forcefully ripped off all my acrylics making one of my pinkies bleed. The ladies were rude and aggressive when dealing with my nails. One lady was even sick as she kept on sniffling. Over all the colour was nice and the guy was friendly and was nice offering us drinks. New nail salon in Glen Ellyn. The inside is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing (not to mention, their massage chairs are brand new and very powerful). However, what really makes this place great is the staff. They're very courteous and extremely friendly! I've had services at their location twice now and each time it gets better and better.
