Worst experience ever, nail broke the same day. My acrylic was lumpy, she tried charging me $75 to add 2 diamonds to my nail then took off my nails I already had on since I was only coming for a fill in for nails I had on for almost 2 weeks and she charges me for a full set! Extremely dissatisfied. First 2 times I came was a great experience kind workers and exceptional work. Last 2 times no chip...chipped, lumpy acrylic, and manager just keeps saying they'll fix it but it's been done wrong more than once! I've been coming here since the new management has taken over ten months ago, and this has easily become the best nail salon Glen Ellyn has to offer. Anna and her team have always been accommodating and have never failed to provide exceptional service to me. Anna herself does a lot of the kind of nail art similar to what you may find on Instagram and Pinterest. She's always very current too-- when I came in asking for chrome nails one day, she had a variety to choose from. I just went to get my no chip manicure at this place for the first time today and I had a WONDERFUL experience!!! I was helped out by both Ana and her husband. He started my manicure and she finished painting my nails. They both were so nice, very personable and very easy to enjoy my manicure with. The job itself was amazing! My nails looked perfect and overall was extremely satisfied with my service. The cherry on top was the beautiful design of this place inside! I love this place!  Found it about 5 months ago when I moved to the area.  Great atmosphere without the cheesy nail pics on the wall, relaxing spa music, not to mention  great service, and attention to detail!  I highly recommend the deluxe spa pedicure. I received a gift certificate and haven't had a chance to visit this location. The gift certificate expired and the salon refuses to accept it. It's already all paid for in full and the salon has received their money already. Most salon/spa gift certificates don't have an expiration date as it's up to the recipient when they can take time out to relax & enjoy -- it shouldn't be up to the salon to determine when they need to come in. This is a complete and detailed review.  Workers are mother, sister, daughter, and a male employee (unrelated).  The only nice person is the sister.  The daughter is extremely RUDE, has a horrible attitude, walks around like she is a beauty queen, won't say a word to you if you are not her customer, and definitely does NOT make you feel welcome!   She is AWFUL.  She brings her 3-4 year old son in who sometimes runs wild (they all think it's cute--it's NOT). The mother (owner) seems nice but gives you a bad attitude if you come to get your "No chip" Polish fixed.  It's ridiculous because she is the professional and should make SURE it is applied properly so you DON'T have to go back for repairs!  Then to fix nails, she files them SHORTER so she doesn't have to do extra work or repaint them.  Lazy, unprofessional. The sister is the ONLY one of quality, does good work, ALWAYS has a smile on her face and is a very sweet person.  She is the only one who cares. Now the male employee does a good job 70% of the time.  He is a nice person.  He is impossible to communicate with, tho!  Speaks NO English, AT ALL. It can be very frustrating!  He did my nails 2 days ago, but I just got done filing 5 of them because they had rough edges.  I shouldn't have to file them to fix them when I just got them done!  Not good.  There are many other nail salons.  Go elsewhere.   I DO NOT recommend. Went there for 1st time ever for a pedicure. Gentleman used a cheese grater on my foot and took off layers  of skin, foot became infected and had to go to doctor  for antibiotics .  I would not recommend  this  facility  for a pedicure .  Will not be going back. Read Less

I have been going to this salon for years with no problems until the other day. I went in to get my nail fixed and the lady was too lazy to fix it and slopped some super glue on it and said it's fine. Well it wasn't fine and it broke the next day. Therefor i had to make another trip to the salon due to her laziness. I was the only one in the salon so i don't understand why she couldn't take the time to fix it the first time. Then when she fixed it it looked horrible and uneven. She also put a tip on it when i don't have tips on my other nails. I also got my eyebrows waxed and she waxed them so thin they are almost gone. I was so busy I hadn't had time to get my mani/pedi and was in great need of one.  In between appointments I searched for a place in the area of my meeting and found this gem.. It was my first time there and I will be going back!The owners sister gave me a pedi and the massage I received was amazing.. I was home in Glen Ellyn this past weekend for a wedding. I stopped by on Friday for a no chip mani. Chose a great color from the selection of swatches at the front - very dull pink, almost nude. The color I got was nothing close to the swatch at the front - dried to a bubblegum pink! I double checked because at first I thought the man grabbed the wrong polish bottle but it was the correct number. When my friend and I (who also got a no chip manicure with a color that didn't match the swatch at all) confronted the staff about it, they claimed 'it changed color after a few days'?!  Never heard of this before. Next day, my nails were a completely different color (now a very peachy color) but still NOT the one on the swatch. My friends color never changed. We should have asked for a refund on the spot because all of the workers in the salon came up as we were getting pedicures to look at my friend's nails, clearly confused about the different colors.Additionally, two nails chipped off COMPLETELY within 24 hours of the manicure. If I hadn't been out of town, I would have been back in the salon the next morning for a refund and reapplication of the two nails! The manicurist I had was terrible with cuticle cutting as well - have a few little cuts AROUND my nails - not my cuticles - he seemed to be sniping the cuticle cutters at any dry skin he could find on my finger. After I had washed and dried my hands before the polish application I had to ask him to cut a few cuticles that he completely missed (probably because he was too preoccupied with cutting all the other skin.....)On a positive note, my pedicure was great. But the manicure experience AND magical changing color is something that I will 100% not be returning for. And I didn't even have the color on long enough to see if it really ever got to the color they claimed it would because with the two nails missing, I went to another salon and had the polish removed. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. I went to 2 nail salons in Addison. 1 was too busy and I didn't feel like waiting. The other was short staffed with only 1 person working. I finally came upon this place after having lunch with friends at Panera. I walked in and they all greeted me. I actually felt acknowledged, unlike at the 2 other places. No waiting. I moved from Chicago, and found the best place near my neighborhood. I never went anywhere else. They were so meticulous. I haven't found anyone with that type of care when it comes to nails, which is why I couldn't give 5 stars....However,  with having said that, I found my Wheaton (semi) equivalent. Nice, friendly, quick service and the place did not smell terribly chemically. I got a no chip mani (about 25 mins and org. 30 bucks!!) and then a brow wax (I usually get threaded, but just couldn't bear the pain today). She didn't trim my cuticles, per my request, and only changed me 20 bucks for no chip= unheard of! She winked at me when she gave me that price so it may have been just to hook a long time customer. I had been visiting another nail salon for some time to get my eyebrows done but after a few crappy last visits there I decided to look around the area for another location. I was dropping my boyfriend off at Jewel and lo and behold there was 2Q4U Nails. Kind of a tacky name, yes, but I decided to try them out for my eyebrows and I was super impressed! The facility is immaculate and the seating is comfortable and leather. My favorite part was that they have a separate room for waxing and a recliner chair instead of being in the middle of the salon and cranking your neck back on an uncomfortable chair. The lady who did my eyebrows was super attentive and took her time and did not rush and was sweet. I looked at their board of prices and it was reasonable. 20-30 dollars for a pedicure, 12 dollars for a manicure, and 8 dollars for an eyebrow waxing. I will definitely be returning to get my nails and eyebrows done at this location from now on! Read Less

I decided to try this place out when my normal nail place was closed. I love it! The service is very good, and the ladies are SO friendly.I got a $25 spa pedicure. They have 4 options for pedicures ranging from $20-$30, so I decided to go middle of the road. The lady working on me was extremely attentive to details. The best part was how she took care of my cuticles and callouses. It's hard to find someone who cares enough to spend time on you.The massage chairs are large and comfy; a big plus. They let me sit and soak my feet for 10 mins in nice hot water while I waited. There are plenty of current, girly magazines to choose from like Glamour and Cosmo, and there is a TV in the pedi area playing the news as well (versus some strange obscure show or music videos as some places play).Another good thing about this place is the choice of nail polish. You can tell that the OPI bottles are fresh- they even had the newest spring collection!Great service, attentive staff, nice products, low-key atmosphere. And a very reasonable price!
