I probably do my nails once a year. I've never been able to find a nail salon I actually liked. Found this place on yelp and decided to book an appointment. My appointment was at 4 and was seated to start my pedi. I had the deluxe pedi and it was awesome. I've never seen a salon do nor offer the things they did. Half way through another employee came over to start working on my acrylics. I decided to try the dip set. I had originally picked a different color and luckily she picked a better color. I was a bit worried because my appointment was at 4 and they close at 4:30. They took their time and made sure I was comfortable. I had a fun time chatting with the ladies and relaxing. Price is normal from what I've seen. They do offer some type of reward program which is pretty sweet. Parking did not seem like an issue. Busy time is around 1pm on Sunday. Salon was very clean. This is an awesome salon! I love coming here. I've visited a lot of dud salons and never realized this type of salon existed. Awesome staff, with great customer service, and quality nails. They are truly so welcoming and fun to be around, and they  take their time to provide you with the best nails. I get so many compliments on my nails, and I don't fail to tell them all about this awesome salon they have to visit. I have so many stories of how they have gone above and beyond one of which was a complete life saver... I broke my nail the eve on my wedding,  and it was very noticeable. My husband drove me to this salon because it is the salon my mother in law goes to. I could tell they were close to closing, but they took me in anyway and cleaned up my nail and made it look AMAIZING. They never once made me feel like I was imposing or a bother, and he didn't rush through it, he still took his time on my one nail. I wanted to pay him, or tip him, or do something for absolutely saving me, but he wanted nothing in return. One of the best nail salons out there and I've been to quite a few between here and California.  All the nail technicians are extremely patient with exceptional skills. Everyone is friendly and each trip back is a treat! Nancy is always willing to explore and try new things with me when i'm there. Kinda creepy, not respectful of your time.I don't leave many Yelp reviews because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt or I'll bring my problem directly to management. However, when those things don't work, I like to warn people about consistently bad service.My friend and I gave this place several tries, since the workers are generally nice and they do a fine job, but after our last couple experiences we'll never go back. The man who appears to run the place is very off-putting - he'll stand by you when you get your nails done and make inappropriate jokes. He even interrupts you when you're trying to converse with the person doing your nails. He clearly thinks he's a comedian but it made us uncomfortable. Plus, they don't honor appointment times. If you have an appointment at 1:30, but they had other people come in as walk-ins, you may not get service til after 2. They won't apologize and act as though you're inconveniencing them. Or they'll say it's a 15 min wait but it really ends up being a half hour. They'll never be honest and say they don't have chairs open because they just want to get people in. If you value your time and want a place that's well organized and respectful to clients, I wouldn't recommend this place. Read Less

Best nail salon I have found in my area! I am addicted to no chip manicures and I have finally found a place where I can go any it actually doesn't chip in 2 weeks! The reason this salon has so many five star reviews is due to the cheerful, welcoming, and personable experience you get from the staff. Usually when getting serviced at Asian salons, they either spend most of the time speaking their language which always seems to happen when a pair of ugly feet enters the scene, or they stare off into space with a look wishing they were anywhere but there. At Ezzie, the atmosphere is very warm, they speak English very well and they speak it consistently to you and amongst themselves. A few of the employees are couples and that makes for a comforting environment especially when Tyler and Ken start telling jokes. The camaraderie is great!I have walked by this place a million times and never thought to give them a try until I was in search of a salon the did "dipping". Dip is the newest trend in nails which is a cross between gel/no chip but without the UV light and acrylic without the fake nail application. It's a very interesting process that takes just about the same length of time as gel/no chip. The consensus seems to be that it lasts longer than gel/no chip. Ken did my nails and I really appreciated how meticulous he was in making sure my nails were perfect and they still are! I love the look and length and it has been several days and my cuticles have not shredded. Nancy did my pedicure and she was also very friendly and talkative and she too paid close attention to detail. I'm new to the area & had been looking for a new nail salon. The last salon I went to for over 10 yrs & the place before that, 10 yrs as well.  OnceI find a place a like, I tend to stick with it. I am so glad that I found Ezzie Nails & Spa (thanks to the reviews on yelp) & will be coming back for the foreseeable future. The service was excellent, the staff was attentive & so kind. Ken took the time to explain the benefits of different techniques & Dan did a great job of doing a new set. I love that they have a 2 week guarantee on their work, along with a rewards program. I went today to get my acrylics removed and have a manicure done on my natural nails. I got a no-chip manicure with nail art, by Sandy. This is the best manicure I've ever had. Nice salon with huge color selection. They also guarantee the no chip for 2 weeks and will fix it if it chips in that time! Awesome, highly recommend. Read Less

This place is awesome. Went for a no chip pedi after seeing all the great reviews and Nancy did an A+ job! I've been here two times and had really great experiences. The staff is really nice, the right amount of interested, and do a great job. The candle wax treatment they do during pedicures is a must, it feels like a true spa experience. Prices are average for all services. Read Less

I walked in for a manicure and it was quick.... too quick. I left and could see a couple places where my cuticles hadn't been completely cut down. I didn't see the tools soaking in any cleaning/disinfecting product nor did I see it being pulled from fresh packaging, so I can't comment on how clean the tools are. The tips of the polish is just okay. She didn't "edge" they like my usual salon does. It was fine for a walk in when I needed my nails trimmed, shaped, and a coat of polish. But I would not go back. I stumbled across this salon thanks to Yelp in December. I was looking for a new nail salon to purchase a gift card for my mother for Christmas. Of course she wouldn't go by herself, so I had to find a place that I would like as well. We had been going to Venetian Nails Salon in Geneva, but every time we go they talk about my upper lip needing waxing and "wow your eyebrows are thick", etc. So, I wanted to find a new place. Based on the reviews alone, I picked this place. Fast forward to February, and we finally decide to go get our nails done. My mom got a pedicure, and I got a no chip manicure. She liked that the pedicure stations were separated from the manicure stations for a little bit more privacy. I spent a long time picking out what I wanted for my manicure and ended up settling on a silver glitter ombre type nail. Basically I showed Tyler a photo of what I wanted, and he recreated it perfectly. I was there for about 45 minutes and it came out awesome! He is super skilled and very friendly. The other manicurist (Tiny) in the salon was working on a woman's acrylic nails, and they ended up looking very nice as well. I'm not an acrylic nail person, but I thought it looked very pretty at the end (just can't do that kind of length or maintenance). Tiny and Tyler talked to each other, but included myself and the other woman in the conversation, kept it light but not just talking about the weather. They were entertaining to listen to, as they were ripping on each other lightheartedly. The manicure ended up being $33 before tip for a no chip. I also received a card that had a 2-week guarantee. Any chips, snags, discrepancies within the 2 week period would be fixed for free. Well, it's 15 days later and I have no issues with my nails. In the past, they normally lasted 14 days tops, generally 10 days at other salons. Whether it was due to the edges peeling off, bubbling underneath, or polish flaking off, it was always something. Well, not so at this salon. I am very hard on my nails. I work in healthcare and wash my hands probably 30-40 times per day. I also work with horses 2-3 days per week and yeah I occasionally pick at my nails. But this no chip manicure has really held up and I am surprised.As if you needed another reason to go, Tyler has a liquor license to serve alcohol. He said you can buy wine from the Galena Cellars around the block and he has tools and glasses to serve the wine (and the legal capability). Definitely would be a great place for a girl's night or probably for a bridal shower, bachelorette party, etc. Not sure how much this manicure is going to last, but I would say at least a week. By far the best nail salon in the area. Not only are all of the nail technicians extremely skilled, they're also very friendly and personable. This is also a very clean salon. I just moved from Las Vegas to St Charles.My nails were long over due.So was my pedicure .I needed to find a great and clean place.After a lot of research on Yelp I decided to give Ezzie nails and spa a try .I am so glad I did .The place is AMAZING !!! Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. The spa is hip and clean.Tyler did my no chip nails to perfection .So did my pedicure lady. Sorry not sure of the spelling on her name.I felt right at home and they did a better job then my nail lady back in Vegas. Best place I have ever been. Called to see when their last appointment of the day  was since I was stopping by after work and on my way home. They were willing to take me which I greatly appreciated. After I walked in and checked in the owner and nail tech-Sam addressed me by name. Sam was super friendly and engaged me in conversation. They made me feel very welcomed. Nail polish selection is one of the best I have seen-12 rows/3 sections of Essie and China Glaze nail polishes.They open a new file kit with every customer and give you the kit to take home-Guarantee that health codes are being followed, I really appreciated this!!! Each pedicure tub is bagged so the client's feet are not actually touching the tub. Once they are done, they drained the bag in the tub. I was getting my manicure as I watched them wipe down the shop with cleaning supplies and sweeping up. Sadly I watch many places do a crappy job at this but Ezzie was on top of it.The store actually received an award from Yelp in the mail while I was there. Nail salons are a dime a dozen these days, but you most certainly won't find one that comes close to comparing to Ezzie!! It's in a category of its own. Recently, I decided to go back to acrylics. We also moved a couple of months ago, so I'm back to square one for a lot of the types of places I've gone in the past. So I consulted trusty Yelp to get me through. It didn't fail! Called this morning for an appointment with Tyler this afternoon. I read great reviews and saw a few pics on the app and decided he's my style. I was seated on time with my appointment. And the hilarity ensued. I was seated next to another customer who was hilarious, with Jackie and Tyler as our techs. The conversation wasn't dull or lacking at all. It's amazing the amount of topics covered in the amount of time it takes to get a full set. Lol I will also note that this shop is insanely clean. They bag the pedicure tubs, give everyone a new file and buffer which you can take with you when you leave, and wipe down every surface. Their ventilation is also top notch. I've never seen a nail salon more clean, and I've been to plenty of them. That was the most fun I have ever had in any type of salon. And my nails look freaking awesome!! I loooove them!
