I went in to get a fill for acrylics I had done at another place. First, they looked at my nails and asked me 3 times if I wanted a full set or a fill when obviously I wanted a full set as I already had grown out acrylics on my nails. They sat me down with one woman, and after 2 minutes switched me to another employee. He turned the filer up to full speed and was removing almost all of the acrylic from the top of my nails and making them way too thin. Then, on one of them he used nail clippers to clip away at some of the acrylic near my cuticles, which I’ve never experienced any other place doing because when you chip at acrylic nails like that, they usually crack right down the middle. Then, they switched me to another employee again and she started by putting a new nail on one that had fallen off. She put WAY too much acrylic on it and although I asked her twice to make the sides thinner so it’d match the other nails, it’s still very thick and rounded when i wanted coffin. She then filled the rest of my nails and although I didn’t notice it until after the polish was on and the shine helped me see it, they look absolutely terrible. You can tell they’ve been filled in because they’re much thicker near the base of my nails and there’s a bump in the middle because it wasn’t blended out to the tip at all. The polish was also not opaque and she didn’t bother to do more coats or remove the bubbles in the polish. Throughout my whole experience having 3 employees, none of them said a word to me either except to ask if I wanted my nails shortened. Normally my nail techs start a little conversation with me, but not here. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and have never left a nail salon feeling worse about my experience and like it was a complete waste of money. And on top of it all, it was $21 just for the basic fill. Every other place I’ve gone to has only been $15 for a fill, and that would’ve been one thing had they done a good job, but it was an insane amount of money for the work they did. It was my first time getting an acrylic! I hardly ever have to wait AND never make an appointment! I showed them a photo of how I wanted my cofin nails & did my nails exactly the way I wanted to with their added suggestions! I am seriously in LOVE with all of service at here. UPDATED REVIEW I had originally given a low-star review due to a bad experience with a pink and white fill... however, I received a call from the manager, Vince, and he apologized and said that the technician I had was newer and asked for an opportunity to make it right. I have to respect this kind of customer service so I decided to try again. I went in today and Vince gave me a whole new set of Pink and White acrylics that are flawless! Point is, if you have an issue, just let them know and allow them to make it right. Also, I would recommend asking for the best or at least a specialist in Pink and White anywhere you go... it's a pretty particular thing that requires a lot of skill. Read Less

I was rushed by an employee to pick out a color, then the woman doing my nails cut them down completely and started to get acrylics ready when I asked for a no chip manicure. I would have been fine with this, however, the no chip manicure looked terrible once finished. I had to ask her to get the nail polish off my skin above my nails twice since they looked so bad. I've been going to Elegant Nails Spa since it opened. Elegant Nails Spa really made me feel very pampered and like a valued customer. I was served as a celebrity person. They have made my scratched toes look better. I love my nails as short as possible and they listened. The price here is the most affordable that I have found in the region. Elegant Nails Spa is my favorite place in Geneva. Customer service is top notch. This place is simple but very clean. And the ladies are very sweet. I usually come in for the shellac manicure and pedicure and sometimes waxing as well, and have always been satisfied with the quality and service. My advice is to call ahead and make an appointment as they are usually booked up. They do accept walk-ins but like many other customers have mentioned, they get booked up quick! Read Less
