I didn't get my nails done here, but not for lack of trying! I called and asked how much it was to get a full set of acrylic nails. He repeated my question, so I know he understood, and gave a reasonable price. I said "great" and asked if they were busy right then. He said "no", so I said I'd be there in five minutes. He agreed. I walked in a few minutes later, and said I was the one who'd just called about a set of acrylics. They looked at me like I was a Martian and said I'd have to come back tomorrow because the person who does acrylics wasn't there. Utterly baffled, I left. Now it was a fortunate mistake for me, as I then found a wonderful place just down the road and will never go anywhere else. (I won't give their name here - I think that's rude - but I have a glowing review for them on my Guide page.) It was just ridiculous though. I mean - really?! If I ask you *specifically* about acrylics then say I'll be right there, would not the rational thing be to say, "We'd love to serve you, but our acrylics person isn't in today. Would you like to make an appt for tomorrow"? (Although I'm unsure how you'd run a nail salon with only one part-time acrylics person...) The only reason they're getting two stars instead of one is because the place looked nice and smelled clean. (I generally reserve one star reviews for places that have wronged or harmed me in some way. This place just left me rather confused!) Read Less
