I went in with my family for a pedi and 'mani. Nothing is more infuriating then when you make appointments and are rushed through and your nail tech is Doug two people at the same time. What's the point of making an apt. If you don't get the full attention. I also had shellac on my nails and as I wasn't paying attention the lady started using the grinder on my nails. I almost cried! She completely ruined my natural nails. They have dints and look horrible. So upset that instead of taking the time to soak off the gel they use the grinder. Honestly it depends who you get if your nails look good or not. When you get Dawn, Penny, Dawn's Daughter, or her husband your nails will always look great. Anyone else it depends on the day. Took wedding party here and there nails looked horrible!!! When they went to have them taken off they had put so much gel on that it took a long time to soak and file the gel off!!!!! They were charged to have them taken off when it should have been done for free since they looked like shit and were not done correctly! Read Less

Overall nail salon is probably a 3-4 star place. Rated 5 stars for Richie's customer service and skill. There are two people (Penny & Richie) who work here on a regular basis that speak enough English to hold a conversation the others can't understand the difference in hot/cold water. The pedicure was mediocre at best. But I absolutely loved my full set that Richie did! He paid attention to every detail and I left very satisfied (which is rare.) I went here for the first time two weeks ago, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed!! Very upbeat atmosphere and accommodating to new clients! Mai did my nails and she did a wonderful job and took her time making sure each nail was even, which ultimately won me over. So many times I've had other technicians not even check to make sure the nails are the correct length. **I did just walk in without an appointment and ended up waiting about 20 minutes to be seen so if you don't have anything going on or don't mind the slight wait it's totally worth it!! I finally found a place & nail tech who knows what they are doing. After going to others in Decatur, Clinton & Bloomington, I have discovered a person (Dawn) who does a great job. I get my nails done on a regular basis, at no one particular place, and this is the worst nail experience I have had in a long time. Although I thought the staff was pleasant, the caliber of workmanship is not as good as I could have done on my own. I got a regular manicure and was very unimpressed when I had to ask the technician to smooth out multiple nails with rough edges before proceeding with color. At the time the technician was applying the color, it seemed as thoug...h the color was running out because it was not applying evenly to the nail. So I asked if I should pick out a new color, but the technician ensured the polish was fine. However, I could certainly see the difference once my nails had dried, that the edges were unevenly painted. My nails began to chip within 12 HOURS. I had gotten them done on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday morning I had already had 2 small chips. By Monday, less than 48 hours later, every single nail had a chip. I have a wedding appointment for 8 people. And I asked the manager of the shop if there're enough worker to work on our nails because we want to get out at the same time. She assure me they will have enough people and want us to come earlier at 9 A.M. But when we got there, only 4 people show up. My friend have to wait almost 2 hours to get her nails filled. I was totally disappointed. They also charge me 35$ for my acrylic when I suppose to pay only 27$ and explained that was Gel even I didn't ask for it. Read Less

Totally disappointed with the services here. I got my 25$ pedicure and the guy take 15 mins to finish my pedicure . He even forgot to cut my cuticle, the foot massage was the fastest massage I've ever have in my life. He just spread the lotion on my feet then wipe it away. What a waste of money. Dude i love this place, you want to know why they give free water and they have over 200 different selections of color. The people there are really nice and they really are pros because one of them did my nails the fake tips stayed on for awhile. I promise you if you go there you will just love and there is a page on facebook if you want to look at the colors and see what the shop might look like. Read Less
