This salon opened not too long ago. I had never ventured in because the wait, from the outside, looked like more than I could handle. I had an unexpected morning off so I went to be one of the first there at the opening time of 10. They opened about 15 minutes late, which was not too much of a hassle for me. I knew my babysitter would still be okay with it. I knew I was going grocery shopping after so I would make that quicker. I have been doing to try the new dipping manicure, which they do offer. I picked out a soft pink and was the third to be serviced. The girl doing my nail never removed all of my nail polish. Naively, I thought maybe that's how this works. (side note: I may be way too trusting.). She put on the various layers, accidentally wiped off the nails that weren't dry yet, just painted over those spots, and left it very sloppy on the sides of my nails. I asked her if this was normal. She assured me she wasn't done yet. At this point, I was trying to figure out in my head of I could still do a pedicure. She finished the manicure that ended with a very uneven coloring that looked unprofessional, which would not fly at my job. I asked how to take it off, which apparently is the same as a no chip. Through all of this, I thought the doing manicure was supposed to be less damaging on your nails. This DESTROYED my nails. The amount of filling she did left them completely ruined. Two people said the color problem was because the color was too light (but if it does not turn out right, why offer it?). They soaked off the nail polish while I got a pedicure. The pedicure chairs give a cute look to the salon, but, holy cow, SUPER uncomfortable. I'm a pretty average height of 5'6", but I could not reach the foot rest for the pedicure unless I sat on the edge of the chair. There was not a way to adjust the chairs to have a back rest. There was no where to put a purse, phone, etc, so it had to stay on the chair. The man doing the pedicure kept leaving me to help with other people and get other stations set up. This pedicure took forever, although I will say it might have felt longer because I couldn't read a book or play on my phone because of the foil on my nails. I would never do a pedicure there again. Too uncomfortable. After the pedicure finished, I had to get the doing manicure off. I was planning on just leaving it at the removal; I would finish painting at home. The nail polish was clearly not ready to come off. The man scrapped it off and instead of using more remover, filled it off with their electric filer. If my nails were destroyed before, there was no saving them now. I couldn't even leave because the nails were so thin. Anything that hit my hands would definitely crack my nails. I had to get a strengthener. He left old nail polish, from what I just had done, all over my fingers. All in all, this came out to a 2.5 hour $60 mess, with no groceries. I know people have said this other posts, but the chairs that originally look pretty are a disaster when trying to get anything done in the space. They are too awkward to move and do not help get any clients in comfortable positions for the services. For as convenient as this place would have been, I will not be going back. Read Less
