This place isn't worth trying. It's very dirty and the employees were rude. The woman who gave me a no chip was rushing me and the UV machine burned my hand. While it's cheaper than other salons in the area, Dream Nails in Oak Lawn is much better and MUCH cleaner. Read Less

If i could give zero stars I would!!! This place is disgusting!! I went in there on one Sunday and they were crowded so there was a wait(which I had no problem doing) But they rushed through my no chip mani (which did chip and crack after a week) and pedi so they could serve as many customers as they could before they closed. Then I noticed that while preparing pedicure water for a customer that the "nail tech" didn't even bother cleaning the foot spa behind the last customer!!! I wanted to throw up!! I love this nail shop. It is a little pricey, but worth it. I'm always greeted, my nail tech Tony hasn't disappointed me yet. I also get my eyebrows done and they always look good. Many of the techs in there don't really talk much, but it's not an indication of rudeness to me, I go there for their services only. The name of the Salon is 3D design...but when I asked to have designs for my toes! I've been patronizing this nail salon since they first open their doors august 2011! I go here because Iike how the woman with the front booth(can't remember her name) does my eyebrows.They need more people trained on eyebrows, because sometimes the wait is is too long.They need to do a better job on cleaning out the foot bowls,i don't want anyone's toe jam or foot fungus. I will never return to this shop, the female manager is rude and a liar, she is not worthy of my hard earned money, one disgusting display of unprofessionalism is enough for me to stop spending my money hete. DO NOT COME HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! They have the absolute worst customer service ever, and their gel nails are horrendous. They are extremely thick, wide, and they rush you. If you have any complaints, they don't care. They specifically told me that they " don't care about what the customer wants". There is a lady there with glasses who also does eyebrows, and she does not know how to do eyebrows. You will be extremely disappointed. I like this place. There are so many nail shops in Chicago/Evergreen Park area but this place is open on Sunday. And until 5 PM! They are nice and attentive. I love the different pedicure options. They range from $20-$50. I've never had my nails done (I go to another place for that) but my feet....this place is a plus. The hubby and I come and get the $30 pedicure. Perfect no matter what time of the year. They incorporate a sea salt scrub and moisturizer based on the year. (One technique for summer and another for the winter). UNPROFESSIONAL....I went to get a fill in at 12 noon and when it was finally my turn, the tech put someone in front of me. She told me to have a seat in the chair and she will be right with me. Then she called another lady name who came in 30 minutes after me whom I conversated with while waiting. No, she didn't have an appointment. I waited for a tech after my name was called to have a seat in the chair for another 15 minutes. I looked at the tech who spoke with me amd she stated again, I will be right there. OH NO....NEVER WOULD YOU GET A DIME OF MY MONEY!!! I have been there only once and the first time all I got was a full set ONLY. I was there for almost 3 hours just for nails. Went about three weeks ago for a full set and a pedicure. I will NOT go back! A lady came in after me for a pedicure and they put her in the bowl I was at 15 minutes before and it was NOT cleaned! Went one time and will not go again. The lady had an attitude. she took out cuticle trimmers that were wrapped / sterile then when I wasn't looking put them back in her drawer and reached for something else. They were already used clippers which she proceeded to spray w alcohol. I had to ask her to use the sterile ones she had originally taken out. This was my main salon but as of late, myy main quips about this salon is when you get a pedicure, they burn you with the towels which really hurts after your legs have been exfoliated. Also, one of the nail techs damaged my nail by scraping off a no-chip manicure before the acetone had a chance to take effect. AND, another one of the nail techs KNOWINGLY applied the wrong no-chip color (I didn't get it corrected because he would've had to scrape off the color to redo it-not risking that damage again), and the last no-chip I got started chipping like crazy after a little over a week. Mind you, the nail tech (Kevin) suspected he had a bad/old bottle of polish and still tried to make it work.  I've had two bad experiences with Kevin and like I said, I will not be going back. Decided to do something different today.....I wouldn't recommend sending my dog here to get pampered....They had about five colors to choose from various companies.....I felt like I was rushed.....The nail tech paid more attention to her coworkers than her actual job causing numerous mistakes....They turned away clients stating that they were closed when the sign stated that they didn't close until 4.....They only got a one because they were clean! This was my first time here. I saw beautiful designs online thinking I'd get the same. I felt that I was rushed, bounced from one person to another, the design work was quick and sloppy. I had brought in a picture as a quite and when I asked for glitter, I was told no. Since the picture just had white, I was not getting glitter. If I'm paying money to get quality work done, I expect it. Not only did I sit a long time as I waited doe the next person to come take care of me, my nails look terrible. I used to love this place. Not a long wait the people are nice. I usually go with my daughter but this time I did not. She was doimg fine until she started buffing my nails and she nicked my cuticle with no apology. What I excuse the first time because I understand it happens. But after the third time and more blood I had to let her know that I did not plan to pay her full price because she hurt me and did not seem to care. I've been going here for a few months and had an amazing lady named Christina. The last few times I've gone she wasn't there and the service was so completely terrible. The first time the man cut off my nails and left them uneven when I asked him to make them even he got up and walked away. Another person had to come fix my nails. I drove around here the day before thanksgiving looking for a quick nail fix.  I saw this place was open and went in.  I loved the vibe here.  The place was clean, had soothing music. The owner was super nice and welcoming.  I was amazed by their huge selection of nail colors.  I got my nails done by Chi and she was the most meticulous nail designer.  She really takes her time and always takes a step back to assess her work.  A sign that she takes great pride in her work.  I don't get nail stylists like that ever.  She reminds me of the nail stylists in Japan.  Dudettes, I've never been more happier with the way my nails turned out.  A surprise to find this place in river green park. Yesterday I went and literally got sick to my stomach. When me and my friend arrived for our foot spas, two of the nail techs prepared the bowls. My friend looked into her bowl that was filled with water and all the sea salt etc. and dead skin was floating around in the water. The man (who watches the money) kept insisting that the water was just prepared until she called him over and he saw all the dead skin floating himself. He quickly let the water out and rinsed the bowl out... I almost puked! That was so disgusting! I have been a long time customer. I am always polite and respectful. I thank the nail tech for accomodating me...she says nothing. The owner Chi-Chi does the best work but she is the only one in the entire that shop that does eye-brows waxing and designs. There is always a long wait time for her. If you aren't satisfied with the work they will make you out to a disgruntle customer because Chi-Chi is very rude, she ignores you and disrespectful. I asked can I get another coat ...and said I do not like to be ignored in a regular tone. Her husband said she was afraid of me and that I did not like her?? I love the atmosphere here.  Very relaxing.  My favorite technician is Jenny.  She is very efficient and she does a great job every time.  The waxing technician is very good as well.  What I like about the waxing here is that everyone did not try to wax.  There is one lady and she is good at it. So I live in the Bronzeville area of the city,  and for the last 6 months I have commuted all the way too Evergreen Park to this salon. At first they used to have STELLAR customer service,  but now they have the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced.  During my last visit the gentleman was very rude who did my fill in service. The entire time he was doing my nails he was watching a movie on his phone? ?! .....Umm, how Rude! !! Then when he asked me if I wanted my nails trimmed down I told him no. He then told me that I should "cut them down because they were too long and that is not what I should get." ...ummm, Hello? ?? But the last time I checked if I'm paying for a service, I should be able to keep the length I want! !!!Second visit was today, just left out of there and after waiting for 25 minutes she ( some woman by the name of Chichi) tells me that there is a pedicure bowl ready for me,  I put my foot in and it was FREEZING Cold! Not luke warm, but FREEZING Cold!!!! AND when I tell her she says "Oh I can add some hot water to make it warmer" so she did.  Then,  I put my foot back in the water still FREEZING Cold!  She then directs me to go to a bowl on the other side of the salon which you probably guessed was FREEZING Cold as well. They tell me to have a seat and then they start speaking vietnamese or whatever language it is they speak looking at me as if I'm the one that told their hot water not to work!  (First off,  I personally think it's rude to speak in another language while conducting business unless the person your conducting business with speaks another language) They don't offer an apology or anything for the inconvenience,  so I have a seat and after waiting 20 more minutes I'm fed up and start putting on my coat to leave, then the lady says the water is starting to get warmer because she sees me trying to leave. ...A LOAD OF CRAP!!! Got a no chip manicure for 35$ w/white tips and they turned black in 4 days. I went back that Saturday and they fixed them for free but tried to tell me that they turned black because I didn't use gloves while cleaning. (I didn't clean or use chemicals on anything). Even if I did... For $35 I can't clean? Wow. Then I went back today and told the lady to take it off and I would try a different color. She was so rude and rough. She scraped off the no chip with a metal tool and then files my nail till it burned. My nails ended up thin and hurt like hell. Not to mention she made me bleed with the cuticle clippers. Then she was talking about me and laughing at me in her language. (may not speak the language but I'm not stupid). After I washed my hands I decided I didn't want her touching me anymore. She charged me $15 for that Crap. I went down the street to Generation Nail and Jennifer did a slammin job on my nails. She did a no chip for Super cheap after hearing my story and told me that my nails shouldn't have turned black no matter what. She said it was their polish. I visit LA alot and out there they are very sanitary, don't use those harsh razors and do an amazing job on your feet and nails. I am happy to say that 3D Nail Salon is better than those nail shops!!!! 3D nail salon has the best customer service, the best nail technicians, and the best choices for designs and polish!! This Salon is very sanitary and comfortable. UNlike most Asian salons you are NOT rushed in and out.  Also UNlike most non Asian salons you are NOT overcharged for great service.  The ventilation could be better-- product fumes can give you a slight headache-- but otherwise it is GREAT!  I live in the West Loop and will travel allllll the way South to get GREAT service at a GREAT price.  It's worth the price of gas for me-- and I drive a gas guzzler. ;)Oh one other thing... I LOATHE nail salons that are right off the street for passersby to see/watch ladies (and men) being groomed.  3D is set back from the street and the setup is more conducive to semi-privacy during service.
