I've been a loyal customer for years, but that loyalty has wavered after my latest experience. The team were running behind, which was fine, so I waited an extra 25 minutes for my massage. My one hour full body relaxation massage was then rushed into a 45 minute time slot (went in at 11:25 and went out at 12:10). To say the least, the massage pace was not relaxing and then I was chraged the full $85 for an hour massage. Very disappointing. Read Less

I have had unsuccessful laser hair removal treatments before and was a bit hesitant but decided to try IPL and WOW!! I just completed my 4th treatment, my underarm hair is almost nonexistent and honestly only need 1-2 more on my bikini!! It’s quick, painless and WORKS!! Highly recommend this treatment. I love Treat! I don't live in Evanston anymore but when I go back to to visit my mother we always go to Treat. Its a very chic and sleek design and the service is always good. My mom and I were visiting from Kansas City and let me just say, if it were acceptable to fly to Chicago to get my nails done... I would do it! This place is so amazing! We were so relaxed that we almost fell asleep during our manis. It is very busy, an appointment is almost necessary. We didn't have time for a pedi, but I bet it would be great too. Maybe next time were in Evanston! Also, my regular mani lasted over a week without chipping - that NEVER happens to me with regular polish! Read Less

It's been years since my last visit but it's just as clean and contemporary as I remembered- even more so. The technicians are friendly and accommodating. Everything is so well thought out here- from the decor, to the cleanliness and treatment. It's a bit on the pricey side but you definitely get what you pay for.  They keep the mood quiet, contemplative, and serene which was fitting for the rainy day I happened to get my mani/pedi done. :)*Tips are cash only! I went to Treat recently for a mani pedi, and it was great! The facilities are clean and nicely decorated. It has a spa feel with rose petals and relaxing music. They are clearly careful with using clean equipment, as everything (other than nail files) comes out fresh from a sterilization packet. The service is amazing - Laura gave me a great mani pedi. It was so relaxing and very well done. I couldn't wait for very long to let my nails dry, so as I was getting up to leave, another staff immediately noticed that i was leaving, came over to help me get my keys out and shoes on, and gave me some drops of quick dry. It has been over a week and my mani has barely chipped. You never know what experience you are going to get at a nail salon - some feel like chop shops that quickly move you in and out.
