This was one of the worst nail experiences I've had. To start, they are pricey so I was expecting a great experience. I was seated at a station that had a previous customers nail clippings on the towel. When I asked for a new towel they put down a paper towel. My polish is lumpy and I have polish smears on the skin of my fingers from them messing up and trying to fix it with remover. The massage is always my favorite part of a relaxing nail experience, this one lasted for about 15 second per hand. Not to mention they were playing old western movies where the service cut out about every 2 minutes. Would not recommend coming to this salon. I just did my pedicure and colored with my own nai polish here and had them remove my no chip manicure . While she was getting other customer ready for a pedicure, like she's put her hands on that persons feet , without washing her hands , with her hands still wet from that water ,she comes and starts putting polish remover on my hands.Initially I wanted to do a no chip manicure to but that's when I decided not to because it grossed me out . So I ask her how much do I have to wait for the nail polish remover and she said 5 minutes. So I check the time.After 20 minutes she was still doing my friends pedicure, like she completely forgot about me, I removed It myself. Washed my hands.So I decided to pay for my friends pedicure to . So I tell the lady to give me the total and she said 75$ . So I ask her for what? I had my own nail polish, I removed the polish myself. And she tells me it's 10 for nail polish remover but then she charged me 5 . I still can't believe she ripped me off!! Very rude ! Highly don't recommend this place! After I left she asked my friend for tip. She was aggravated I didn't leave her any tip!! So my friend left her tip to . I still can't believe this is happened to me! I've never been to a nail salon and get ripped. I always pay tip and they never rip me off like absolutely nowhere I went So never to this place again!! I assumed because of how slowly the woman was moving the quality of the job would be high. I was wrong and the manicure started chipping while I was out of town after about a week. The nail salon is really nice and the massage chairs. However, the chairs for manis and pedis are separated by a mesh so it can make it hard to chat if you go with friends. The pedi was good, and it's nice that they include a hot stone massage with the basic pedicure. However, the "no-chip" manicure was a bit subpar. My manicurist was really rough when taking off my old gel manicure which left my nails a bit sore. She also didn't paint the entire nail and stopped short of the sides and the cuticle when painting. i got my friend the signature pedicure for her bday. the staff was unfriendly, the pedicure was great, BUT rushed so she didn't get the full effect of the soak and mask. it was completely over priced for the service and treatment that we recieved. Read Less

service was very rushed, the nail technician looked like she had a train to catch. there were no smiles at the door, they behaved as if they were doing me and my sis-in-law a big favor. also no one even asked us after the pedicures whether we liked it. we were pretty much left on our own after the pedicure and the girls darted looks at us while we dried our nails as to when we would pay up and leave...just very impolite for a $70 order i would think. Even if a customer communicates wishes clearly and friendly, the nail bar in Evanston doesn't care. Beside the fact that the woman who started on my feet hardly spoke any English, she got really upset when I told her that I didn't like the ""French"" that she had done. After I made her take it off at least the big toes she didn't say a word anymore and got all fast and sloppy on my hands. They started mopping the floor while I was still there and instead of getting me my coat from the wardrobe they made me walk over there in these disposable flip flops and I nearly fell.... My boyfriend got me this gift certificate from nail bar as a special treat and I was really looking forward to it. The first weekend they couldn't take me in (were they really booked solid?) this weekend they finally could - calling a week and half in advance! Very unpleasant experience overall - I just hope my nail beds are not all infected tomorrow. ADDITION: The pedicure from SUNDAY looks like 2 weeks old on THURSDAY already.... Read Less

I've been having my nails done here for several years, and have recoomended it to my mother and several of my friends, all of wom have enjoyed their expereinces here. They are very flexible about scheduling, and always do their best to fit people in, even at the last minute. They run on time, too, which is always a plus. The staf is very friendly, and there is no ""attitude"" in their demeanor. It's easy to get here via public transit. There's also plenty of on-street metered parking. I would highly recommend this little spot , and have never been at all dissapointed in the services I have received here. Read Less
