I really enjoy going to this salon for no-chip manicure and spa pedicure!  It is near my home and the people are very nice.  The place is very clean and I find the surroundings peaceful; I can really relax and unwind. The prices are very reasonable too. Their color selection is fantastic!  They have everything! I have been trying to get my husband to go with me for a pedicure for the longest time. His feet always hurt, and I knew it would make him feel great.  Well, he finally gave in last week and he was very surprised at how relaxing it was and how good his feet felt afterwards.  Now he wants to know when we are going again!  Very soon, honey! Never will I go back to this awful place. First I told him what I wanted with my nails, he asks "do you want cut down or same length" I told him to just file. He wasn't paying attention as he was more concerned with what was going on around him that he filed them way too short. They look almost like nubs. Then a girl came in close to closing so he decided to rush finishing my nails. I seriously could have done a better job myself. Then I get my eyebrows done. She rushes those. I told her she missed a few spots and she got annoyed. I left and went home. My left eyebrow has more hair than the right. Now I have to pay again to get them corrected. My favorite nail salon in EG! Everything about this place is great: the people, the work, the prices. I always get the no chip, which never chips btw (i'm looking at you, pink nails, with your chipping no chip), and what I love about PS Nails' no-chip is that it never lifts. What is lifting, you ask? Well, you know when your nails start to grow out, and the sides of the gel start to lift and peel and get caught on everything, especially when you're washing your hair? THIS NEVER HAPPENS with the no-chip I get at this place. Before, I used to go into salons with the polish mostly peeled off and my nails looking like they had been assaulted by something obviously too great to fend off, but ever since starting to get my nails done at PS Nails, my nails look like they have simply grown out with the gel still fully intact when I go for a new color. I've been to a lot of nail salons in EG, but PS Nails is definitely the best in town.PS: Besides the usual nail stuff, they also do waxing and air brush designs. I am in and out of Elk Grove Village 3-4 times per month. I quit doing my nails a year ago because the area I live in full-time is too expensive, upwards of $50 for no chip manicures. On a whim, I decided to try this nail shop out after I saw the prices in the window. I walked in without an appt. The only nail tech working said she didn't have time, as she had an appt in 35 min. A male working there told her to go ahead and do my nails. I was fine with a 30 min mani. I want pretty nails. I am not necessarily concerned with the "spa" treatment. So, I was in and out in 30 min. No appt.Nails lasted 2 wks.color was opaque.She was sweet and friendly.They have great color options.Fast service.It was about $30. CleanMy cuticles did not crack after, which is typically a problem for me.Since my first time, I have been back three times, and this will continue to be my go to nail shop.
