ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The lady there ripped off my acrylic nails & RUINED my nails and then has the audacity to tell me that that's just how it's done. I have been getting acrylic nails for years... never once have they ripped them off my fingers. Been getting my nails done in the area for over 10 years and have tried many salons. I was faithful to one in Addison until I was tired of my nails chipping and falling off, as they got busier and began to talk  customers for granted. AQ nails has quality service and a rewards program. I have never been so satisfied with my nails, and they last for such a long time! I can't say enough positive things about this place. I've been coming to AQ Nails for about one year now and I've never been more satisfied with a salon. The friendly attitude shared between every guest that walks through the door and all of the staff is only one reason the atmosphere is so welcoming. Every guest is taken care of in a timely manner and every time I'm in the salon, at least one customer is elated and taking photos of their nails to share with their friends and family. My no chips are sure to last a minimum of two weeks. The current no-chip Christmas design I have on my nails has been there for 3 weeks and I don't have a single chip and the crystals are still in place. Not to mention, I know that with this kind of quality work, I will not find a better price. I know that when I walk into AQ nails I will be greeted with a warm smile. I've gone to this place a few times, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I had a bad tech. Well after multiple bad experiences, I will never go there again. I got a no chip and in less than 24 hours I've gotten a couple chips. She did not do a very good job of putting on the coat. It was like she was in a hurry the whole time despite the shop being empty. I had to make her redo a couple nails. I had gotten a french and I could see through the white. It was extremely obvious and she should have noticed. While she was doing my nails she contorted my fingers in uncomfortable positions and the thickness of the white is noticeably different from nail to nail. I don't get my nails done on a regular basis so I don't think to take that close of a look before leaving. Apparently I need to because of places like this. Read Less

So I came here on a Friday evening, I called ahead and asked if they were busy. She said no come on in. I of course had to wait at least 25 mins for my regular manicure. The nail tech I had spoke no English at all! I asked if she could shape my nails almond shape and she didn't know how. They also never told me where they kept most of their color options at. (They are in a book) so I only had a bunch of old nail polish off the wall to pick from. So I used my own that has had with me. She put on a ton of coats and it wouldn't dry. Another lady maybe the owner? Came and picked a color similar to mine and was very helpful. The polish is lasting. A regular manicure for 6 days already. (Not a no chip) so I'm happy about that. They took their time to do your nails, always friendly, and accommodating, and their work was perfection. They're a little pricy through, but you pay for what you get. I recently moved to Elk Grove Village and needed a new nail salon. I'm happy to say that A Q Nails was GREAT! I've gone on a Saturday afternoon and been helped right away. Unlike many nail technicians, staff here was do worked very hard and patiently. They used a high product gels for me and another customer's. I thinking so. My nails be remaining to last 2 weeks. I have finally found what I was wanted at A Q Nails in Elk Grove Village. I absolutely love every visit to A Q Nails . The staff here was super adorable when opened for me. The manicurist was friendly and did an exact replica of the picture on web. These girls knew all about customer service to cater your needs. Usually I would get my nails done AQ Nail in Elk Grove Village. That's really wonderful. Every employee was very accommodating, professional. This place was a great selection of shellac colors! The tools were also individually sealed in bags. Last time I have a shellac manicure it last for nearly 3 weeks! This salon is one of the best salons I've been to. I'm really picky when it comes to getting nails done. I found this place on yelp through great reviews. Started out with getting my eyebrows done. Awesome job! Then the next day I came back to try them and get my nails done. The woman who did my nails was Colleen. She is super sweet and overall amazing personality! The way she did my nails with acrylic literally looks like my natural nails! Then I did the cat eye gel no chip and I absolutely loved it.  This place is great and the atmosphere is amazing as well. Went here for pedi and no chip fill My nails were long and pretty. I wanted them shorter so length is good but the fill is terrible!!! I have been coming here when they originally opened over 8 years ago. Can't  see going anywhere else, despite me moving to Aurora. The shop is immaculate and the staff is very friendly. Clean tools, very reasonable prices, great selection  of colors and no chip as well. They also offer other services. I make appointments but they luv walk ins too!!! I come here all the time. I found this place because I needed to find a place open on Sunday's. Henry the owner, from Vietnam, is very friendly along with his wife. He has two sweet little children. He even opens the door for me on my way into the store for my appointment. Sometimes I make an appointment only a half hour before and they always seem to make space for me. I observe them with other customers and they seem to really be trying their hardest to make sure all customers are happy and receive top quality service. I really like that they use a fresh clean plastic bag in the pedicure baths because then I know that they are always clean. Fab smelling Cocoa lotion for the leg massage too! Lured in from Des Plaines for a $21 no chip groupon. Called for an appointment, told to walk in. Walked in, made me wait because I didn't have an appointment. I knew I wanted French and it would be an extra $5. But when I went to pay at the end she told me she couldn't run my card for less than $10. So my manicure was $31. Well everyone knows you can go just about anywhere, anytime for a normal full price manicure! Except this wasn't a normal manicure. She cut my nails totally off to the bit, then held my skin back to file them even shorter. I should've started alert and stopped her, but I was watching the news. I would never return here, for any reason. Titi made no conversation and wasn't friendly. A pedicure was $30 for French. Which put me at $60 for a discount mani/ pedi, which is $12 more than I usually pay full price at Pretty nails right up the road. Read Less

I went a week ago for a no chip mani (found on groupon) & pedi w/ a girlfriend. Both of our no chips have already chipped on several nails, and same with the pedis. I have had no chip manis at other places & have never had problems with chipping this early, or at all for that matter. I wonder if they even used no chip polish, or just charged for it. Brought 2 girls to get their nails done (age 14 and age 3). One no-chip and one polish change. They did a decent job in about 30-40 minutes. The services were very basic so no complaints there. My one annoyance was that I called ahead asking if they had appointments available and the receptionist told me that I could walk in at 7:30 (closed at 8pm) but when I arrived, the nail techs acted very disappointed.
