One of the most horrible customer service experiences I have ever been through. They fried my hair severely by perming and wanted me to pay for conditioning treatments and cuts. I had talked to several salon owners who said my hair was fried for a few years and that this salon should have wanted to help rebuild my hair. In fact, my hair is so horrible the owners of other salons said I should sue. I think that speaks for itself. I would never let a customer go through this. How saddening. They are suppose to make you feel better about your hair, not regret ever getting a service done. These are some of the most inconsiderate staff I have ever met. Please do not go here they do NOT care about your hair. I have never been upset over a hair salon service. This is just honestly horrible and sickening they would let someone have two chemical services done knowing it would damage their hair. Scheduled a last minute haircut appointment after having my hair horribly damaged/just had an overall awful experience at another salon. I was hoping to just get my damaged ends cut off. My stylist, Mandy, completely went above and beyond for me. She was so nice and apologetic for my bad experience at the other salon, she cut my hair and styled it beautifully. She even took me around the store after my appointment to show me several options for treatments, shampoos and conditioners to help repair my damaged hair. I can not recommend her enough! Good store to buy many good products. I went there to buy a hairstyling product and was told me I had 60 days to return it. I tried it and it did not work out for me. I took it back the next day and exchanged it without a problem. I recommend it. They have a lot of the brand name products.Read Less

I wouldn't say I hated it, but I highly disliked my experience. The worker was helping another customer find product and then checking her out and after she was done she looked at me. I called a few weeks ago and explained I had red box color on my hair I needed to lift it and neutralize it to a brown.. even if that we're a level 5 or 6. I was told to do a consultation first before making an appointment.. so I did! I was in the salon from 8am-12:10... the lift worked and brought me two shades lighter orange with brown roots. Then applied 3 colors to tone. I left with the same orange hair and light brown/blonde roots!!! The color didn't take. I was told I c...ould not get it fixed because the next client was there. I told them I can't come back that day or for 2 weeks because I don't have anyone to watch my son. I was charged $20 for lift.. 49.99 for color.. AND $10 for an extra color bowl. I called and spoke to manager today since my weekend was so crazy and she said again I can come in and get it with someone more experienced. She said I'll just have to "make it in" to receive a refund. I literally told these people I couldn't just come there when I please!!! Also when I called and told them about everything going on with my hair and my goals why wasn't I put with an experienced person in the firs place for consultation and color?! I'm chucking this as a loss because I don't think I should have been charged for all of it and I can't come back for two weeks. I'm a manager as well and I didn't think this was at all right when I expressed there was a problem and my stylist even saw my hair was not what it should've been. I won't be shopping here, it's too difficult and in inconvenient. Went in looking for a specific product, found 4 styles to choose from but only one was priced so I had to track someone down to get other prices to compare. Not going back there! ever! Had a haircut appointment two weeks back, it was at 8 am and reached there at 7:55 am and waited outside as the door was locked. No one let me in even after seeing me standing outside in the cold until 8:10 am. I thought I will not make it an issue because the stylist did a good job. Anyway today morning I received a call from them confirming my appointment for tomorrow for relaxer. Again in the evening they called me and left a voice mail. It says they wanted to know what treatment I want for my hair, relaxer or permanent straightening, and whatever it is they don't have the products in stock and I can take appointment for next week. what??? When i called back they are saying the person who called me and confirmed the appointment in the morning is new. They don't know what I wanted to do in spite of stating clearly that I want relaxer; I had also talked to the stylist who does it when I went for haircut. No products in stock?? Not going back after yesterday's experience with Lauren , the Customer Experience Associate. I waited in line, one customer in front of me - it took ten minutes, no less, for the customer to complete their "purchase". A large part of the delay was due to the conversation the customer was engaging in with her stylist, in the middle of checking out. At one point I asked the "Customer Service Associate" if she could check me out at a different register, the answer was "no".When she finally started my Check out process, she needed my last name, etc. to " find me in the system. She wasn't able to find the info, I told her not to worry about it, and I got a rude reply back  : "I have to find it"... After I gave her my address, life history, she wrang  up my purchase, slapped the pen and cc slip on the counter and told me to "sign here". I see I am not the only customer who has experienced rude attendants at this store. I also agree with the other reviewer about the information they have to have just for you to buy from then. Product selection is good; however, when I attempted to return an unopened item with a receipt I was told I had to have an account with them in order to do so. The back of the receipt stated that only a receipt is needed for returns, but the store clerk and manager would not take the return unless I provided them with my name/address/email address. This is a highly unethical business practice. I did call the corporate customer service line and was told that I don't need an 'account' to return items, and that they would clarify the company's policy with the store. Whether or not they did so I can't say. I would caution any customers of this store to ascertain the return policy before making any purchases. There is no stated policy in the store specifying any requirements for returns outside of a receipt. I will not go back to this business. Read Less

This place is not for men.  I've gone into Beauty Brands several times with my wife.  I remember at one they carried a product that I use but it was a few dollars more than where I normally purchase.  On a recent visit, I went to the very small men's section and could not find the product.  When I asked the clerk she stared at me with a blank look on her face.  It was obvious she had no clue what I was talking about and didn't want to help me.  I will not be going back here unless it is solely for my wife......which I will comply.
