Quickest pedicure EVER!! I come here all the time and they are never consistent with the services. Then when you talk to the Manager, she tells me that some if the girls don't speak good English and I have to go out my way to make them understand! Came for a no chip mani and pedi on a Friday afternoon. Super crowded, got the feeling they wanted me in and out. Very rushed to pick a color for my pedi and was not fond of the lack of choices for a no chip. It has only been 4 days since then and my nails look disgusting!!! You can see streaks and my nails are totally chipped. Can't go back in to complain or call because I'm out of the country (the reason I got the mani) and they don't have a website I can give feedback to. I hope the owner sees this and can do something about it. I probably won't come back here based on how my no chip looks just four days after. So disappointed. Read Less

The decor is beautiful at this place! They've got a great selection of magazines too. The prices are great too; I only paid $15 for a basic manicure. It lasted for 2 weeks and the whole process was great. The technician was very gentle on my hands and didn't over-trim or push back my cuticles. I'd go again! Read Less

I love Spa-O. My Mom originally recommended them to me. She visits them regularly for manis and pedis, and now I am a regular, too. Spa-O gift certificates are now a standard for Christmas and Birthdays for both me and my Mom. The staff is wonderful (shout out to Katie!) and it is a comfortable, relaxing environment which I find unique on the North Shore. I am not a fan. The service was not great and the prices were way too high. My no chip manicure did not last a full two weeks and the actual manicure experience was skimpy. I was not impressed with this experience. I do not believe you get what you pay for at Spa O. There are better salons in the area. Read Less

I loved my experience here! The salon is big and luxurious. The staff are friendly and does a good job. There are so many many pedi chairs, so it less likely to wait. BuT MAKING APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY. Manager doesn't sneak walk ins if they don't have time and busy. This is a pretty busy salon too! They schedule the appointments very good. And when I came in today there were so many technicians so if you make an appointment it's all good they took their time during the nochips which I liked. I am in the salon industry. After working 8 hours behind my chair I stopped in for the first time to relax. My pedicure took maybe 20 minutes. I could have done a better job. Chairs are so uncomfortable with no massage. It's like sitting on bricks. My water for the pedicure was iced cold with no jets to massage my feet. The actual massage was non existent. She slapped on some lotion. She also had my feet in the most uncomfortable position to paint my nails, hurting me by digging her nails on my skin. I came around closing time however I don't appreciate all the staff members cleaning around me, crazy style. Felt rushed and would never go back. Update***I was able to speak with the manager and have this resolved! She was most accommodating and I was very pleased with the results! I wish I could give them zero stars. Have been a loyal, long time customer for over a year. Frequent regularly every two weeks.My last few visits have been horrible. This past one was last straw. Will never frequent this place again. Went in for a no-chip manicure that took almost two hours. Also, correct technique was not followed. I did not tip as the service and product was awful. By that evening two of my nails had chipped off! (this service is guaranteed to last two weeks and always has!)Went in the next day to fix the two nails. I asserted my concerns that maybe the whole manicure should be re-done. I was afraid more would chip and did not want to have to keep coming back. They only did the two nails. The very next evening three more chipped. I had to wait until next morning and drive out for third time on a Sunday. On third visit, lady re-did my entire manicure. Again, took almost two hours. In the parking lot, the man from the front desk follows me to my car and harasses me. He wanted to know why I did not tip the technician!? Never in my life have I seen such gall. He went on to say that it was "proper etiquette" to tip 20%!I informed him it was also "proper etiquette" to perform the service correctly and to train your nail technicians. How am I receiving a "refund/replacement" if I have to tip three times?? Further, who is now replacing money for my gas, time and aggravation? Checking my bank account this morning - I see two transactions for them!! One on the original day I received manicure and one from Sunday! No one swiped my card on Sunday as this was supposed to be free! How do they have my credit card information? I was never told this was going to be stored/saved!Called to speak to a manager, man who answered simply said they weren't there. I asked when would they be in? tomorrow. What time? Maybe 9. I love this place!!! The atmosphere is very clean, and very "spa" like. They do a great job on my nails and the workers are super nice. I actually love the movies they play there too when I'm getting my nails done. The best part is that my nails last a long time (for me that is). They also changed to disposable nail files and scrubbers which is great and I keep my toe separators and bring them back myself when I get a pedi. My other favorite part is soaking your nails in either lemon water or green tea. It's a great place and you should definitely consider it! Read Less

I will no longer be recommending this spa to anyone I know. When this place opened up a few years ago, I completely sang their praises for being a reasonably-priced spot in the area to get some pampering. Their manicures and pedicures didn’t always last as long as I believe they should have for professional application, but the service was always good and the price was right for the relaxing experience. My opinion in light of recent events has completely changed. The wax esthetician burnt my mom's eyelid on a recent visit and didn't even say anything to her. My mom came home to find a burn line across her entire eyelid, and then when my mom went back to speak to the owner, all the owner could say was "sorry." She didn't offer my mom her money back or at the very least a certificate for a complimentary future waxing. She didn't say anything to the esthetician either. It seems that this lady doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. A few years ago when the place first opened, I told all my friends about it and how wonderful it is.
