I went in initially for an eyebrow wax. That was no issue. The issue started when I decided to get a full set of gel nails put on. This guy started to do my nails, and I like them cut super short, and he just didn't seem to want to cut them as short as I wanted them. Then a lady walked in with an appt. I was told to move to another chair, and had a lady working on my nails. I asked for gel and ended up with acrylic. This lady also had no idea what she was doing. When it got t...o filing and smoothing them down, she did a terrible job. She didn't even make them even or buff them. My nails a week later started to lift away and break off. I refused to go back and have them fix it because it seems as though they have no idea what they were doing. I went in on a Sunday as my usual nail place was closed... I wanted to get a full set and the owner did not understand that he questioned me multiple times asking what I wanted so I finally just said a fill which resulted into more questions... I didn't think it was that hard... you own a nail salon .. the lady who started doing my nails was very rough while filing wit the Dremel my actual nail started to feel like it was burning... during this time I was only accompanied by one other lady and her young daughter as they lady went to pay, I could see the man (possible owner) getting very agitated... once the lady and her daughter left it was just me, the "owner" and two other ladies who worked there all of a sudden they all started screaming at each other... it was a very uncomfortable situation I wanted to just get up and walk out. I had been going to T Nails for the past 3 years and I loved the place. Tom and Shelley were great. Now they are not there and they are under new management. It won't be long before they are out of business. Nobody there can speak English and they do a terrible job on nails. A week after every fill I have they start to pop off. I will never go back there! Worse place ever!! Was very happy with this place until before Christmas when the person who usually did my nails was not there...All new people...Should of been my first clue...Well I gave them a try..The guy who did my nails did them all wrong. Was there two hours. Nails all fell off. Went back and my regular girl is still gone. This place is under NEW management. I do NOT recommend anyone go here. I went for a simple acrylic fill and my nails didn't even look good for a week. I get my nails done a lot and this is the worst quality job I've ever gotten. There's only one person that does acrylic in there and he did not do a good job. I only went to this salon because I was meeting up with a friend. Both of us were highly disappointed. I took my nails off exactly a week later. She took hers off 5 days later. "T" stands for Terrible Nails. The staff is very nice, but the quality of work is garbage. Acrylic nails pop up, no chip lasts about a week, pedicures...I've had to point out several times where polish was on my skin or areas missed. I've visited other nail salons following my visit to T-nails & w/out me saying anything, both other salons asked where I went because my nails were done so carelessly. I love T-nails! I have never had a bad experience here other than occasionally waiting for my turn on the weekends. My man loves to get a pedicure while I get my no-chip. For people who like to bring in their own mani/pedi tools ( i.e cuticle clippers, file, nail clippers) they will box and store them for you on site!My only complaint would be that I'd like to see them get in some metallic colors for the no-chip. The staff is always friendly and after one time writing my name  on the check in sheet they have never failed to remember me. If your concerned about timing just ask when checking in how long it will be. I am always running  late and they always manage to do a fabulous job even with me rushing them!  The best : ) Read Less

I went to this location for the first time yesterday. A friend of mine swore this place was really good at their pedicures. So I figured why not just go. I really enjoyed everything about the experience up until I came home and saw that my toenails were not fully painted. Yes, not fully painted!! I do a much better job painting my own nails. I can't believe I spent 35.00 on a pedicure that ended up looking the way it does. I have learned my lesson and will not be going back to this location. Can i give no stars?  (I guess not... I tried!!)Second worst experience at a nail salon ever. Yelp didn't exist yet when first awful experience occurred. Anywho... Ended up here purely by chance. Was omw to Beaus in Cary but then thought, oh what the hey, I'll just go here, it's omw home....  Big mistake.  (Beaus is awesome, btw.)I asked the nail tech to clip my toe nails super short.   Three times.  Each foot.Moving on to mani...  Told the tech I like my finger nails short too, a little square with some oval. Not square. She said ok got it. She clipped so short I thought she was gonna cut me. No joke. Ok the clipping was complete and no blood to be seen. On to the filing. When she completed the first hand, I glanced at it (just in case) she didn't "get it". Glad I did.  They were perfect little boxed tips, no round or oval shape to be seen. I told her they were too square, which she then fixed up a little.  I figured I wouldn't have to say anything when she started filing my right hand, right?  WRONG!!  I had to remind her abt that too!!!   I just wanted to yank the file from her and do it my damn self. But I was nice...After I sat at the nail drying station for what seemed forever (no one came back to check on me or help me remove the toe separators and foam flip flops from my feet.  Jus' sayin'!)  I got up to pay and while I was waiting for dude to run my card I got a better look of my nails. They looked like CRAP.  Some sections were gloppy (is that a word?). Honestly, I do a better job at giving myself a manicure. Sorry to admit but no tip was given. I will say this, though. Worst nail salon experience ever.  Girls that did my mani/pedi were ok but my nails look TERRIBLE!!!! ruined my cuticles and I got acrylic white tips and wow I've never had them look this bad. Haven't had my nails done in a bit and decided to this time since I'm going on a cruise next week and I regret going to that salon. I went back the next day to try and get it fixed and lady tried telling me that's how it's supposed to look like. Almost every nail had bubbles in it and just looked very cheap.  Please save your money and time and don't go there !!!! T-Nails is the worst salon I have been to.  It is very cute and clean inside. But it's the rudness, unfriendliness of the nail techs that turned me off.  I went there because I had gotten a coupon in the mail and thought I would give them a try.  At the end of my service, I heard the nail tech making fun of the tip I gave to him.  He even said aloud where i could clearly hear him, "What am I suppossed to buy a happy meal?". He got a 20% tip so this really made me mad.  With nail salons on every corner, I don't have to be treated like this.  I will never return.   Personally I don't think nail techs deserve more than 20%.  My fill only cost $15 and i am not sure how much he expected for the 20 minutes it took him to do my nails.  I am also glad I brought my own polish because their selection was horrible.  Worst experience ever.  I will be going back to my usual salon where they actually appreciate my business and my 20% tip!!!!!!!!!this place is the worst. I had read bad reviews about this place before I decided to go get my nails done here (only because it was the sunday before labor day and they were the ONLY place open) I had a pedi done first it was good, the girl was nice and detailed. I also had a no chip manicure done, first day it looked okay the next day the no chip started lifting from the sides... I thought its okay doesnt look too bad... I have only had my nails done for a week and they look horrible! this is supposed to last AT LEAST 10 days!! the lady did a bad job cutting my cuticles which messed up the no chip manicure a little faster. Too bad, because the interior of this place is cute! It looks like a little Roman plaza with a ceiling that's painted to look like a sky and big white columns. Their polish selection is REALLY limited. They were not friendly at all. There was a group of 4 of us getting pedi's and their chairs were really nice and they had plenty of space. But their massages were really brief and not very good and they only put a hot towel on your legs for like 10 seconds. Two of the nail techs actually used a saw to file down our cuticles rather than do it by hand! And it was passed around to 3 of us without sterilizing first! (The 4th actually did it by hand) Then on top of that, my nail tech didn't even paint the tips of my toes, so the natural white tip of my nail was completely showing. Because of the saw, my toes are dry as a desert and white and flaky. So gross! Will never go back here again. Read Less
