I just left from getting a no chip pedicure and no chip full set. The pedicure took u see 10 mins. They did not cut my nails like I asked and did not cut any cuticles. I have never had a pedicure like this in my life and was expected to pay full price. When I got my full set the man named Allen was super rude. He blamed me for the nails not turning out right when clearly I have no control over how the pain dried. He was very rude tanking my wrists and pushing away my left hand so he could redo my right hand. He was huffing and annoyed (notbonly hos words but his body language). The worse customer service! I just bought a house mins from this place and thought I would give it a try. I will drive the 30 mins out of my way from now on to go to VIP nails in Streamwood where I have been going to for years as they are super nice and considerate and don’t talk about u as if ur nothing. I have been here a couple times and haven't had bad service once! I have been seeing CoCo! And she is phenomenal! I just get no-chip and she never disappoints. She spunky and kind. We always have something to talk about but she knows when I just want to relax so she will let me ! Read Less

I went in yesterday and was super disappointed. I brought my niece and the lady who did her nails was looking at me the whole time like she was mad at me and said she was too young next time. She is 6 and gets her nails done a lot. I showed them a picture of ombré nails and asked if they could do it. The guy didn't speak much English, nodded his head, and started. He gave me a French tip and asked if that was okay. I just said whatever because I didn't think he'd understand that ombré was not even close to French. I left there that night and woke up the next morning with all the white tips of my nails changing to a blue/gray color. I went back in the very next day, and he decided he didn't want to fix them, so he made someone else do it while they were obviously talking about me in a different language. She had to almost completely redo my nails because he had done such an awful job the day before. Still not satisfied with how they look now. I didn't know French could be so hard.Update: After another 3 days with the new French manicure, they are now turning yellow. No chlorine, no tanning, nothing I have done should cause this to happen. Pedicure was not worth what they change. Which is already more expensive than most other nail salons. No to mention they were untruthful on the cost until they already started and then sprung oh it's $5.00 more to remove your polish! She didn't bother to let my feet soak at all just started on my toes right away then let them soak for maybe 2 minutes before starting the new polish. I wouldn't really call that a pedicure she basically got my feet wet and painted my toe nails. Lastly the way she cleaned up after she did my feet was super lazy and not suffice! Super gross. I just took my daughter in for a mani pedi (she's 5). The nail tec. she had was Jenny, can't say enough good things about her. Great service, took her time, nice to my little girl, princess treatment with the design flowers, sparkles, rhinestones, the whole nine yards. Her toe nails are so small I wasn't sure she would be able to get the design she wanted. But her flowers came out great! We have gone other places where they rush through are done in 15 mins and produce low quality because she's to young to notice. Well worth the $30 she loved the wide selection of colors, the bubbling water, the leg massage, and the foot scrub. Quality, affordable, clean, friendly service so close to home. Read Less

I love the great massages I get with my pedicures...and even sometimes a back massage with a manicure. I've been going here for several years, and am always so happy with the service, cleanliness, friendliness, atmoshphere and the wonderful job they do. I personally don't mind that there is not a lot of talking by them as they work. I love that time to relax, enjoy and read. It feels like I am given my personal space. Read Less

I have come here a few different times trying to give them another chance. I work later so I have gone into there a little bit later and they said they would do my nails but then they seemed aggravated and rushed that I wanted a design. If you are looking for quality and not rushed work i wouldn't recommend this place. Read Less

This place is not recommended at all. When they first had opened up they had pretty steady business and were doing good, I went there for a year or 2. But then they started lacking on the services I had came in for a pedicure the girl who did it was probably 14 years old. She didn't seem very comfortable. Then I went for a eyebrow wax they brought me into the waxing room and one of the employees was sleeping in the beds!!! This also happened to my sister. I live very close and I see them outside always smoking cigs in the parking lot.. Very un professional. I have went to other nail locations and some of the people that had worked there in the past were talking about how it sucked! Wouldn't go back ever. Not to mention it's right next to a dog groomers and all I herd was dogs crying and barking not relaxing not worth my money. Read Less

I keep giving this place chance after chance because they are not the worst, but I leave disappointed every single time. I always end up waiting for a very long time even though they say "just a couple minute!"  Now I don't tend to make appointments, so I don't care to wait, just be honest with me about the wait time! The nail color selection is very poor- many bottles of the same or very close shades- I need options. I usually go for a pedicure and leave with dry dead skin left on my feet, crooked uneven nails and in pain because the clip the skin too close. This will be the last time I visit especially after I watched them clean the foot baths with a quick 5 second scrub with what looked like dollar store hand soap. Absolutely terrible.  They can't speak a word of English and when asked about prices on the phone,  they give you the false impression.  I specifically asked how much it would be for a 12 year old manicure with designs and pedicure for myself.  They told me 30 with a ft ee design.  Once I got here,  the staff wasn't really friendly and said it would be 43 towards the end.  They tried to explain it off as the person who picked up doesn't make the decisions -  then don't have him answer the phone and answer questions!! I usually don't go here but I had a coupon so I got a fill and a pedicure, which isn't cheap all together. The guy who did my nails was extremely unpleasant and rude, cut my finger, didn't speak a word to me and then told me I couldn't use my $2 off coupon bc it didn't work for a fill, when it stated no restrictions on the bottom. I explained that and he basically yelled at me so I went to let my nails dry and just forget about it. I sat there for almost 25 minutes and left 2 hours later I had a smudged nail and 2 chipped nails, and a broken one the next day. HORRIBLE service and very rude employees. It's not worth going there! Massage chairs are very hard and uncomfortable when not on. Very hard to understand them. Need someone who speaks better English to interpret. Don't like when they talk about you in front of you. Nail tech was very rough, kicked my foot TWICE! I won't be back. Read Less

Really nice massage chairs.  Some nail salons have old and ratty looking chairs these are really nice and give a decent massage too.  I got the cutest pedicure with the seasalt honey scrub and red nails with white flowers on the big toe.  Was $35 for all that.  Salon was nicely decorated and clean. I'm afraid I have to agree with Sue B. I would not recommend someone come here. I stopped in because they are next to my gym and I thought they might be less expensive than the spa around the corner. There seem to be some serious language barriers between the staff and the clientele. I had told the gentleman doing my manicure that I liked the current length and shape of my nails and he proceeded to file them down and reshape them anyway. I had a no-chip gel manicure done, and he was very obviously not well-practiced at applying the gel. It was very sloppy and VERY thin. I don't know if he was trying to skimp on the product or what, but the color wasn't even very true because he laid the lacquer on so lightly, even after I made him do a second coat! It chipped after just one day. The thing saving this from being a single-star review is the fact that when I went back and asked them to repair it, he remembered me and didn't charge me for fixing it.  It continued to chip, though, and after only a week I took the polish off myself because I just didn't want to go back. That said, my experience was with only one person, and some of the other staff might be AMAZING at what they do, but my experience was enough to keep me from going back to find out. Read Less

I'm generally not a fan of strip-mall nail salons.  Maybe this is snobby, but I prefer to get my nails done at a full-service spa because the results are usually better.  However, I do have to give Nail Envy credit.  The nail polish on my toes lasted longer than any pedicure I've had in the past.  It didn't chip at all, and it's been on for 3.5 weeks now.  I was bummed that my pedicure didn't include the normal callus shave and exfoliation, which could be due to the fact that I had a coupon for a "basic pedicure".  That wouldn't keep me from going back though.  I may try the "luxury pedicure" next time to see if that is any different.All-in-all, I'd give Nail Envy a painted thumbs up.
