I came here as a walk-in and was lucky they ere able to squeeze me in! They were very busy/popular. My nail lady was Sarah and she was very nice and helped me pick a color and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend Tres Bien nails!! I made an appointment for a regular manicure on a Tuesday morning. The owner made me feel very welcome and they were ready for me right away. My nails were in need of some serious help and my nail tech, Wendy, was very nice and did an amazing job!For only $15 (cash) I had a wonderful experience, including a short but relaxing hot towel neck massage and a delicious smelling sugar and lime scrub!I was there for an hour, they really take their time which I appreciated. My go to nail queen closed her shop and I was forced to find a new one! Ileana is a pro at the dip powder manicure being one of the first to do it three years ago and counting. She put up with my anal retentive need for perfectly filed nails and was really sweet. The shop was clean and the owner was also super sweet. I can't even express how amazing this place is. I booked an appointment for a friend's birthday. Best mani and pedi I have EVER had in Chicago. I have lived her for 8 years and get my mani twice a month and pedi once a month. I'm not sure if the gentleman working the desk owns the salon or just works there but he was extremely attentive and welcoming. I didn't feel rushed and my nails look amazing!! The place meets and exceeds all my expectations for a nail salon. It is very clean, small enough that it feels cozy, and the owner is incredibly nice/accommodating. After searching through tons of reviews I decided to try Tres Bien for a girls date with my best friend- and was not disappointed. The owner was super nice and took us in even though we did not have appointments and they were obviously busy. I got a no chip and a pedi, my friend just got a pedi. My manicurist aced the no chip. It's been 2 weeks and its still going strong. I took a star off for the pedi because it was very rushed and just ok. I started me pedi a good 10 minutes after my friend and was done 5 minutes before her. So it may just depend on who you get. I had a gentleman, but I have no idea how to spell his name..Madi?? I don't ever get mani or pedis and wanted to treat myself after a long stressful week. Looked up a few and decided on this one. I called for an appt the same day after work and the owner fit me in and was super nice. I got there and was greeted by the owner and he was so friendly and so accommodating. Place is super clean, nice chairs and everyone's so nice. They have a good assortment of colors. The gentleman that did my mani and pedi was awesome. Super gentle, precise and just did a fantastic job. He did not hurt me while trimming down my cuticles as I've had others hack away like they were chopping lumber.  I was the last person out and they did not even rush me, wanted to make sure I was all dry and ready to leave. Clean and professional, the owner is constantly answering phones and running around. The lady who did my manicure and pedicure did a great job. She was professional and I felt very relaxed. Make sure you bring cash because there is a $5 charge for them to run your card. The complimentary neck massage was amazing! Just for price reference- regular mani pedi was $40 cash. This place is great! I've been coming here for the last few months and every time the service is wonderful. My no-chips last at least 3 weeks and if they chip within a week, they'll fix it for free! Plus a no-chip manicure and regular pedicure is only $60 if you have cash. Read Less

This day didn't start as planned. I was planning to do a walk in manicure with my girlfriend. First place was closed on sundays. Second place said 3 hour wait and we had a lot of trouble communicating with the staff. Walked across the street to the third place Tres Bien Nails and they took us right away. I got a manicure and pedicure today with her and everything was perfect. Their green tea is  a m a z i n g The owner is super friendly and the whole vibe of the place is super chill. This is my second time there and I think I have finally found my regular go to nail place in this area. They have massage pedi chairs. Everything is super clean. HGTV on the televisions. Mark, the owner, is welcoming and never seems to take a break from tidying up, keeping everyone refreshed with water and chatting about the latest happenings in the neighborhood. For me, that's super important because a good manicure is easy to find, but a local business with an owner who genuinely wants to be involved in the day-to-day and get to know his customers, is not. About the manicures and pedicures, they're great! And so are the quick hand and shoulder massages that come with a mani. And Mark and the technicians are always super sweet and patient with my 3-year-old daughter who can never quite decide if she wants a manicure or not, so for me that's bonus points for this neighborhood gem. As I was walking back from the bank I noticed this nail salon and thought to myself "hey, your cuticles are gross and you've had a rough week, go get yourself a hand massage and fix up those nails you've been growing out, girl." So I walked in. Mark was at the front desk and he was welcoming and super friendly. He hung my coat up and brought me some water. Unfortunately I forgot to ask the name of my nail technician but he took his time on my nails and made sure they looked perfect. Also, I got a dang back massage! Maybe I've been out of the manicure game for too long but I've never gotten both a hand massage and a back massage at any nail salon, especially for such a great price. I have never been to a more attentive nail place in my life. The owner was an absolute delight to speak to and you can tell that he truly cares about his customers. Immediately when walking in, the accommodation by the owner and the staff was welcoming and I felt right at home.
