Went in today just to get my eyebrows done. When I approached the counter, the receptionist was on her IPad Skyping someone about their nails. I stood their for a good 3 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. When I finally was seated near the eyebrow area, the technician asked if I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up or "fixed". Considering my eyebrows just needed a cleanup, I said yes a clean up. Fast forward to the middle of the service, after the waxing, she brings a mirror to show me her progress. To my horror, my eyebrows were no where near cleaned up. The hair on the eyebrow bone was still there...visibly. She said I'm not done yet, so naturally I thought she was going in with the tweezers, scissors, and razor blade. No. She took the tweezers and removed little to no hair. I got up from the table obviously upset and too drill the nail in deeper (No pun intended) she shows me the waxing strips and says "Look lots of hair". Thank you CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!!!! At my time of checkout, the receptionist hounded me to get a pedicure and manicure. I said no politely (wish I didn't). She muttered, "Well the minimum for card is 20 dollars, do you have 10 dollars in change?". I said no and she just turned to the technician took talk in a foreigner language about me. I paid for my service and left as quickly as possible. This nail shop USED to have good customer service. I will never vist this shop again. I rather pay my 15 or even 5 dollars at other shops, knowing they do good work. Hell, I rather do my own eyebrows versus going back here again. Luckily, I live in the city of Chicago and the amount of talented shops are abundant. 0 stars if I had an option! Read Less

I used to go here all the time as my go to at work. I work within the mall itself and this was the perfect place to hit before home. However recently, the work has become less than mediocre. I went LAST WEEK and got a no chip full set as i always do. Normally, it’ll last 2 weeks no issues. However recently, every single time i leave here, within a week my nails pop off like press one. I went back Tuesday letting them know that my nails are popping off like it’s absolutely nothing and was told they can “give me” a fill in and fix them for $35. So for the regular fill in price, you’ll fix your mistake? That’s convenient. I don’t do strenuous work. I work in a phone store typing on the computer majority of my day. I’m upset at the fact that a week after paying $50 for a full no chip set, i have 6 nails left and one ready to come off. Terrible place and i will be finding somewhere else to go with my money. Zero stars! Honestly one of the worst nail shops I have ever been to! They are extremely expensive with mediocre work. They did a horrible job on me and my cousin's nails. And within one hour of me leaving the shop one of my nails came off. I got my nails done Friday night and it is now Monday morning and I only have 3 nails remaining because they are just literally falling off!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Went to get acrylics done and had to point out so many errors and in the end it was still very poor quality and had to pay extra £5 for snowflake stickers when the nails were nowhere near good. Read Less

I brought my grandmother here for her 80th birthday. She loved it and they treated her so nice. They kept us updated about the prices because we got her everything. A full pedicure, manicure and she wanted her faced waxed. I had never been to this shop before but my old shop was going down in my perspective and I need it a new place. This shop always looks so nice and everybody was very friendly. I think for my next mani and pedi I will definitely be coming here. Read Less

The only reason I visited this salon was because my sister gave me a voucher. The employees I was working with seemed to be nice. However, they were not informative at all. In fact when I began asking certain questions they got irritated and sassy. I asked for gel nails and they ended up using powder acrylic. They said it was "gel powder" which I know isn't a real. When I asked again they said they didn't have what I was asking for. I agreed to do the acrylic. When they brought out the nail shape diagram it was hard to read and I told the nail tech I wanted them to be pointed. When she finished they were rounded are the top and not pointed at all. When I asked her to fix it she huffed and puffed and told me she was going to charge me extra. They are also very bad at letting you know pricing on what they're doing. I would ask for something and they would say they could do it but they would charge me. Did not let me know how much they were charging. Originally they told me I would only have to pay 55 for my nails set. I ended up using all of my $95 voucher and had to pay another 35 (including a tip) out of pocket for something I didn't even want. I wouldn't ever go here again. This is one a the best nail salons I've ever been to. Every nail technician treats her clients with true kindness. I have been to many upscale, overpriced nail salons in my life. This place, however does quality work without the extra dollars added on for its location. I always walk out feeling happy with my nails and having had a pleasant visit with the staff. Read Less
