I don't understand all the great reviews. My daughter and I went in based off the good reviews. I had a pedi- which was fine. No complaints.  My daughter and I had a new set put on.  Her new set took the same amount of time as my pedi and my new set.  The girl was so slow. It was extremely irritating. The colors that I asked for were not what was done.  I should have said something at the time-so my fault.  They charged me for French manicure when they could have put white tips on. But we are now 12 days later-my nails have lifted.  The acrylics are not attached to my real nail. So I had to get them filled after only 12 days. The salon that did my fill is concerned about fungus due to the fact that my nails lifted and could get "stuff" under my nails. I have not ever had that happen in the 20+years I have been getting my mails done. Will not ever go back. Read Less

Went in as a new client last week. Told the man at the desk I was intrested in a full set of pink and white nails. I asked him If they do a lot of pink and white because I am very picky. He told me he only has one girl who does pink and white. I said ok is she here!!,? He said yes.  S soon as he said they only had one girl that does them I should have left.  The girl came over to do my nails I explained to her what I like done as I am very picky. She was very nice and pleasant to be around. She did her best and even though I wasn't thrilled I tipped her well and got ready to pay. The man at the door took my credit card and told me in the future not to walk in a salon and say that I'm picky because no one wants to do my nails!  He then proceeded to tell me never to say that again. Love love love this place. Nothing negative to say. I saw the review below and I was actually there that day. They were happy! And only had appt for 2 ppl but they added 2 more. Anyway...There are plenty of pedicure chairs and the staff is always so accommodating, I have never been able to find a place on the burbs that can do the designs I like. I have been going to Luscious Nails for years but they changed ownership and their people have all changed.  Horrible service, went their on 2/17 for 4 pedicures with an appt. and had to wait while they did 2 then the other 2, 2 and half hours.  Also bought the spa package and had to remind them of that to add the other ingredients. I got a full set with gel polish. The service was fast, faster than other places I've been, and high quality. I am very happy with my nails! I have been to other places that charged about $15 less, but the quality wasn't there. I ended up breaking my nail, which was completely my doing and not reflective of the quailty. They ended up fixing it for free without asking. They seem to value thier customers and return business. I would highly reccomend coming here. Made an appointment with Toy-got there and she's doing someone else's nails. She proceeded to give me attitude and said she's been booked all day--worst customer service I have ever experienced at a nail salon. Why even make an appointment? I asked them if they could do this for me. Such a simple design and I was told to go down the streets because they were owned by the same people. I was charged $49 for a GEL FILLLL WITH A DESIGN!!!!!!! Unacceptable!!!!! Just for my nails to turn out nothing like the picture. Very dissatisfied. Read Less

A few months ago this place was on point I saw Leah and Venus all the time for my nails, and they did a fabulous job always. Recently though (last few weeks) after making an appointment, and having to wait 1.5 hours to be taken as they kept taking walk-ins before me I will not be going back. UPDATE: Please use a different brand of topcoat!!! I've never had my nails peel and get discolored like this. Everything else is great! Just your topcoat is no good!!! I can't keep coming back to ask you to fix my nails. It wouldn't be fair, and I would feel like a complainer. Seriously, everything else about this place is wonderful, though!!Yay! So excited that I found this place!!! So much awesome. First the massage chairs are absolutely the best I've ever sat in. The place is gorgeous. People are actually smiling. And you get treated like royalty. The work was perfection! They are by appointment only so make sure to call in advance, but so worth it. I actually asked a couple other women there and they said that every single girl there does a great job. It's not like other salons where you have to pick and choose who you sit with. I am super happy! (And I can be a tad bit picky!) oh! and for those girls that like to do no chip on their toes, they actually have the light machine that goes over your feet so you don't have to balance and do a serious thigh exercises every time you get your toes done! This is the best nail salon I have ever been to. It was my first time coming here and I had the best experience, very impressed! I came in for an acrylic fill and needed two broken nails to be fixed. The location was very clean and smelled great, you wouldn't think they even did nails.      First, they started my appointment early which was very appreciated. When the man who was doing my nails saw how bad of a job the other place did, he helped explain to me what I would want to look for in a really good nail. He then fixed more than just my broken nails and took his time to make sure they were perfect.      I really liked how he actually cared about how my nails looked and that both him and I were happy with them. Some places can make you feel like they just want you in and out for the $25, but not here! He made sure I was happy with the shape, length, and color.      When he removed my broken nails I didn't even feel it and  he whole time he made sure that I was okay and that it wasn't hurting me.      If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! The prices are very reasonable, $25 for a fill and two broken nails repair. Will definitely make this my go to place! Read Less

This place is a little gem! Be sure to make an appointment, even during the week, they book up quickly! We had a reservations for a group of 5 of us for a bridal party. Originally the appointment was for a "few manicures and pedicures". When we got there, half wanted fills, one wanted a full set, and the others wanted 'no chip' - none of which are considered "regular" manicures... so timing was a little tight, but the team pulled it off flawlessly! The massage chairs for the pedi's were amazing and I loved it. If we had more time, I would have gotten the deluxe pedicure with the hot rock massage but I wanted the no chip mani so I had to renegotiate my time. I also asked for white no chip - which is apparently the most difficult gel to do because it shows inconsistencies. The girls rocked it! Probably the best mani ever. She sealed each of my nails and did 3 coats to ensure proper consistency. These won't be chipping for some time!I would definitely recommend this place. It was so great! Read Less

This is the first time I was ever turned away from a nail salon. At 11am on a Tuesday I went to take my mom for a mani pedi and the salon employee was very rude and said they don't have time,  we should come back later I  the day.  No one was even getting a pedicure,  all the chairs were open.  I'll never try them again. Well..I'm writing a review on a place that refused to serve me today. I chose this nail salon because of the great reviews and walked in expecting to be able to enjoy a nice pedicure and no chip. Instead, the gentleman told me that he didn't have any openings. A nail salon with no openings! Really!?!? I've never experienced that before. They take walk ins but no openings for me...,hmm. So I'll take my brown face and my green dollars elsewhere. Thank you Luscious nails. I had an amazing experience. I was slightly thrown off when I walked in and saw the signs up that said they only accepted tips in cash. When I tried to ask the cashier, she ignored my question. This almost steered me towards the door. I stayed because my friend was trying out nail salons for her wedding. I'm happy I did. I was fortunate enough to have Venus do my nails. She was attentive, detailed, courteous and a whole lot of other things. She had a great personality and was social while I was in her presence. My friend was serviced by Yen. She experienced the same service from her as I from Venus. Just pleasant overall. No complaints. My God-Daughter was blown away by her pedicure from Krystina (sorry if I misspelled it). When I say talented...this girl is creative. She took what she wanted and turned it into a masterpiece (see the unicorn pic). All the ladies had a great sense of humor and were aimed at pleasing their customers. I made a vow to come back and see Venus or the other ladies. I now have three to choose from. Read Less

Best nail salon I've ever been to and now I'm a regular. Everything is clean, decor is tasteful and elegant, and the techs do a wonderful job. I recommend making an appointment as they do get busy. I've never waited more than 5 minutes for service when I have an appointment. Read Less

Found my new favorite (and local!) salon! Krystyna did a fab job on my regular manicure. The salon is stylish and clean, and they have a large selection of polish types and colors. You get the sense that this salon cares about their clients, because each and every tech takes time with every client; the attention-to-detail is proven in their work. My mom and I came here today for pedicures and had an amazing experience. We chose Luscious Nails because of it's yelp reviews and we were not disappointed! Everyone was friendly, the salon was clean, and our pedicures were great. We were loooong overdue and the ultimate pedicure was perfect for us. The girls were meticulous and so caring! I asked if they were taking walk-ins that day and I was kindly advised that they were unfortunately not due to their packed schedule, but they usually would take walk-ins. So, I made an appointment for the following day (Dec 23). I went in on Dec 23 with a few ideas from Instagram and Venus (I believe was her name, never officially caught it) made suggestions on the direction of the glitter gradient to look better as it grows out, really appreciated that. She was very quick, but also professional and thorough. I truly felt like I was getting great attention to service despite it being another busy day in the salon. I noticed many customers who seem to frequent the salon and have good talking relationships with the other employees. It helped to make the atmosphere fun, light, inviting, and comfortable. Venus was very friendly as well. Overall the workstations were clean, tools were clean, chairs were comfortable, and there were hooks to hang your purse. I'm extremely happy with how my manicure turned out and with my experience there, especially with it being a busy day. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone in the area! They took me last minute when they didn't have to. My nail tech was very nice and we chatted. She also recommended something cheaper which would work for me that I didn't realize. The only real issue is that 1- it was just slightly more pricy than other places and didn't include things like a hand rub etc after nails and 2- she used her own nail to push back my cuticles and I could have crawled out of my skin when she did that... When I call for a 'double appointment' with Kathi Terry, we are always able to get in on a very timely basis. Double appointments take a lot more time and Kathi always makes it work for me and Kara!! Kara loves her occasional visits to the Nail Boutique Salon & Day Spa!! She loves Kathi Terry who lived by her grandma and grandpa on "George" Washington Street. Kara doesn't ask for much so I just love to make her day!! Mission accomplished!! We've known Kathi for a loooong time...she even cut Kara's hair at their previous location when she was 3 yrs old.
