Customer service was awkward because they all speak in their language. I don't mind if they speak a little but not the whole time, the lady who do my nails got it on my cuticles and the top coat look odd on my nails o don't think it cute all the way. Topline Nails was the closest nail salon to my house, so I hesitantly checked it out. I loved this salon. They had the good variety colors selection to choose from. Great customer service! I've been coming here for years and absolutely love this place. Jennifer is the owner and knows her stuff. I highly suggest her or Lisa for acrylic nails. The place is always clean which is a major must for me. All of the women here are super friendly and have some of the best customer service. They get to know you on a personal level. Topline Nails has become my new nail place after trying several salon in Carol Stream. This was a lovely experience. You should make an appointment if possible. I've been coming to Topline Nails in Carol Stream for my nail for quite some times now. I rarely ever has good experiences at nail salon, now I had a wonderful one. They're awesome from beginning I came. Best shellac manicure I've ever got. They did my nails thoroughly and carefully. Although a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. I've been here twice for no chip manicures. I was just coming off a bad experience at Prima Nails, so it was refreshing to come here and have a much better time. Both times I've felt like a good amount of care has gone into the manicure. I accidentally chipped a nail during the last manicure and my technician actually pointed it out to me and fixed it right away. Also, the last manicure I had lasted three weeks before it started to chip. All in all I've been pleased with the service I've received!  The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars to the salon is because the last time I came in I ended up waiting for 20 minutes. I came in as a walk in and was seated within 10 minutes. While cleaning up my nails she burned my nails along my cuticles with the weird shaving nail thing. Then she asked half way into doing my nails if I wanted to pay now. I've never been asked that while in the process and mid acrylic application, I was signing my receipt and struggling because the lady wouldn't cut my nails the shortness I wanted and then charged me 5$ extra for coffin nails.  Not to mention once I was done she didn't pick up my phone so I smeared my nails polish horribly on 3 fingers and she ignored me about it once she saw me do it. As I was making my way home I noticed my nails have noticeable gaps between my skin and nail, something I shouldn't have been seeing for weeks. And as I was opening a bag of chips my nail broke in half from how thin it is. I am highly upset about the poor service and price I paid. I'm not looking for a refund which I deserve, but I will be going back in tomorrow to have my nails fixed and shortened free of charge. Don't waste your time or money here. Read Less

This is the worst manicure I have ever gotten. First of all, the lady was basically blind. She then commented about how light my nail polish color was and asked me multiple times while making a face if I was sure I wanted that color. YES, I wanted that color. People generally get a manicure to clean up your cuticles, she didn't even touch them. She didnt remove my previous nailpolish properly so i still have red coming through the cream color i picked. she massaged my hand for a total of 4 seconds. the place is great and clean, SHE just sucks! My sister heard great things about this location so we decided to try it out and get full sets of acrylic on! Worse experience to date, my cuticles were cut on more than half my nails. My technician dug the grinder into my nails deep enough that there was bursing underneath my nails, each nail was uneven and I asked her if she would fix the problem and she just commented that she wasn't done and didn't even take the time to look at my concern, let alone fix it. I was curious a few days later so I took my polish off, I have never been as disappointed as I was when I saw the work. My index finger had a dramatically smaller amount of acrylic compared to the rest of my set. My right pointer finger had fungus growing under the nail!!  (I have had a full set for 6 years, and this is the FIRST time I ever encountered this problem) Worse experience ever, will not go back and very unhappy that they don't require staff additional training, when needed!! I was happy with the work that was done - the staff was friendly and didn't intimidate us by speaking to each other in another language and laughing the whole time (that really keeps me from coming back again, a la Lucy Nails just down the street)Oddly, when it came time to pay I handed one of the staff my debit card, and she asked if I had cash or a check.  I said that I did have a checkbook in my car, and on my way out the door to get it I noticed the Mastercard/Visa stickers on the door.  Being my first time there I thought maybe the place had changed hands and were no longer taking cards or whatever, I didn't really give it much thought.  It wasn't until I came back in and the same woman told me to just write the check to Jennifer, and not Top Line, that I wondered what the heck that was about.  I'm still not sure if that was on the up-and-up, but it was just odd enough that between that and their prices ($25 for a pedi), I probably won't be back. don't waste your time or money!they do less than mediocre work. i was overcharged for tips when i only got a fill, and my nails were done terribly. when i told them i was unhappy, they refused to issue me a refund. any place that refuses to issue a refund to an extremely unhappy customer does not care about their customers! This place is very clean and friendly staff. It is great for manis and/or pedis. Also have had eyebrow waxing. All services are great. No need to make an appointment, even when they're busy the wait isn't too long. Read Less

Very pleased with the service I have received from Topline Nails. They are very professional and friendly. Decor of the salon is one of the best I've seen in a long time.
