I've tried at least half a dozen salons around town. I stumbled onto Royal Nails today because my regular salon has been closed for some time. It's beautiful inside, courteous staff and the best pedicure and manicure I've had in Carol Stream. Lisa is simply amazing at stilettos. This will be my go to location from now on!

It's very easy to miss this place since its at the end of a business strip but now that I've discovered it, Royal Nails will be my go to nail salon! My friend and I made same day appointments (just in case it was busy) and were able to get in with only 45 minutes advanced notice. Lisa did my manicure and pedicure and can I say, this is the best one I've EVER had!! Usually there is something I'm unhappy about but in this case, I can't find anything wrong! The price is fantastic, can't beat. The color selection is extensive too.

The shop is very clean and cute. They have a large well organized collection of gel colors. I work in childcare so I was my hands frequently and my gels still last 3+ weeks.
The nail techs take their time and do a great job. I never feel like they're rushing to get the next client in. And when I call to make an appointment they've been friendly and helpful. Great attention to detail. Totally perfect work!

Last week I went to go get my nails done and I wanted something different. I decided to go with chrome nails and they turned out AMAZING! Not only did they make my nails exactly how I wanted it. I always do gel and they did a great job at being gentle with my nails. This is honestly the best my nails have ever looked. Thank you for making my nails look so good, will definitely be back soon!
Lisa was the one who did my nails so I highly recommend her :)

I had a terrible experience here. The woman who did my nails was only nice to the other workers. She did not pay any attention to me at all and while she was doing my nails she stopped to go on her phone multiple times. I was getting acrylics done and she made me bleed in 3 places. Over all I was not comfortable one bit and was so excited to get out of there. I absolutely do not recommend coming here.

Worst experience ever. I do not recommend going there. I went in there for a full set. They were Incredibly slow, constantly talking to eachother making me feel uncomfortable. My nails were completely crooked and not glued on all the way. Terrible quality and over priced for what they gave me.

Oww, Linda, my wrist doesn't turn that way!Linda was a little...rough. I got a no-chip French manicure from her. I appreciate that she was able to complete it in 30-40 minutes, but, as I mentioned, she turned my wrist and my fingers in completely awful unnatural ways. Furthermore, Linda was not much of a conversationalist. At least not with me. She was quite a chatterbox with her coworker (who was giving someone else a manicure) though.Also note that this salon is FREEZING--they are aware of it, and they have a space heater. But I still recommend wearing a sweater that you plan to keep on for the duration of your services.I came in around 11:15 AM on a Sunday (with no appointment), and I was helped immediately. Other times may be more busy.TL;DR followsCons: service was not friendly, salon was freezing coldPros: $30 for a no-chip French manicure, no wait, quick serviceOverall, a mediocre experience.

I've tried at least half a dozen salons around town. I stumbled onto Royal Nails today because my regular salon has been closed for some time. It's beautiful inside, courteous staff and the best pedicure and manicure I've had in Carol Stream. Lisa is simply amazing at stilettos. This will be my go to location from now on!

It's very easy to miss this place since its at the end of a business strip but now that I've discovered it, Royal Nails will be my go to nail salon! My friend and I made same day appointments (just in case it was busy) and were able to get in with only 45 minutes advanced notice. Lisa did my manicure and pedicure and can I say, this is the best one I've EVER had!! Usually there is something I'm unhappy about but in this case, I can't find anything wrong! The price is fantastic, can't beat. The color selection is extensive too.

Last week I went to go get my nails done and I wanted something different. I decided to go with chrome nails and they turned out AMAZING! Not only did they make my nails exactly how I wanted it. I always do gel and they did a great job at being gentle with my nails. This is honestly the best my nails have ever looked. Thank you for making my nails look so good, will definitely be back soon!
Lisa was the one who did my nails so I highly recommend her :)

I had a terrible experience here. The woman who did my nails was only nice to the other workers. She did not pay any attention to me at all and while she was doing my nails she stopped to go on her phone multiple times. I was getting acrylics done and she made me bleed in 3 places. Over all I was not comfortable one bit and was so excited to get out of there. I absolutely do not recommend coming here.

I appreciate that she was able to complete it in 30-40 minutes, but, as I mentioned, she turned my wrist and my fingers in completely awful unnatural ways.
