Terrible service! Waited 3 hours still here still here waiting. Took 2 hours for them to soak my friend nails off, and they still haven’t started. Do not go to this place unless you have a whole day to waste. I like to get in and out don’t mind a wait but over 3 hours is too much.

I writing this review while I’m actually letting my nails dry🤨 January 17,2018. My experience here was terrible. I came here a few times in high school and never payed any mind to the rudeness. But now it’s just awful. The attitudes are ridiculous. And half the time you haven’t even done anything wrong. She cut one of my arcylic nails to short and got an attitude when I asked for her to do it over. She had attitude when I asked for rhinestone and I was deciding which ones I wanted. I only took like 2 mins to decide. She messed up one of my nails and I had to finish the polish job myself. I will never be back here. Please go to Homewood Nail Spa! It’s in Homewood,IL. It’s amazing. Plus the decor is relaxing. They actually care about there customers instead of trying to do rushed jobs and take your money. I hate when these places act like customers don’t matter. We are the driving force behind your business period.

I had a terrible experience here today. Usually the service here is good but today the person who did my nails was extremely unprofessional. My nails look great but he was arguing the entire time with another employee.
Literally screaming across the room at her the entire time and took his anger out on my hands.
I believe he is the owner he is in chair #2.
You shouldn't argue so severely in front of customers. Very bad for business. I might not return.

Absolutely horrendous, I used to come to this tip top when I was in high school all of the time and I moved back and decided I try this place again. I do not know the abilities of every nail technician but I would strongly advise you not to have your nails done by #7. He had no idea what he is doing, He can not shape nails, I even provided a picture and apparently that did no justice. I asked to get the SNS nail system done with tips added ( I have had this done at another place). This took him 3 hours my nails were very lumpy and my cuticles were cut up. This technician also finished my nails with a gel top coat over my SNS nails and then had me place nails under a UV light (keep in mind SNS nails done correctly do not require a gel tip coat or uv-light to dry). I had the nail technician add tips and they also seemed very weak. I was so disappointed I removed these trash ass nails as soon as I got home. I would not advise anyone to go to this nail salon unless you go to a different technician that you know does good work because #7 did terrible work.

I had to wait more than an hour for a fill in and the place wasn't even crowded. Some woman walked in 20 minutes after me and was immediately seated for a pedicure. The service in here is absolutely terrible. The nails you end up with are not worth an hour + long wait. They have you sign in when you arrive and for what?? If you're not going to go by the sign in book then get rid of it. I'm so irritated and I will not be returning here.

I didn't like my tinted eyebrows the Chinese lady did them too wide and too dark to me, but other say they look nice. Hesitating on going back for tint eyebrows, my nails are nice tho.

I had been going to tip top since high school on 79th. I started going on Sibley when I moved to Indiana. But I went on Sibley after not going for 3 yrs and they're so expensive. I got a gel fill in and mood polish for 35. That was high. I pay 26 @ the most in Indiana. Also I see the customers haven't changed arguing about who's next.

Today, I had the worse experience ever at Tip Top# 4 not only did they open an hour late but,, the guy who open the shop was beyond rude. The shop should open at 11am on Sunday, but today it open an hour late at 12pm with no apologies just this extremely rude man stating, "we open when we feel like it". I was beyond shock the way he treated his paying customers I know if this shop was in a predominately white neighborhood you would not treat your customers with such disrespect. I love Rachel and she has it going on with eyebrows but I refuse to be treated so badly this will definitely be my last time patronizing this establishment.

I love tip top it's like a second home to me I come here basically every two weeks. But I only let 2 people do my nails mike 4 my acrylic cuz he takes his time on your nails, and he always does a good job so I would recommend him. Hannah 4 my pedicures and nail art cuz she hooks ya nails up and I love colorful, fun nails. Now 4 eyebrows go to Rachael she always does a good job. Also you can go to Alex 4 your nails. Now if you go make sure you get there at 10:00 am when they open because they are really packed especially on fridays. And if your an impatient person you might wanna come early, or come on mon-thursday cuz there not really busy on those days.

Absolutely horrendous, I used to come to this tip top when I was in high school all of the time and I moved back and decided I try this place again. I do not know the abilities of every nail technician but I would strongly advise you not to have your nails done by #7. I had to wait more than an hour for a fill in and the place wasn't even crowded. Some woman walked in 20 minutes after me and was immediately seated for a pedicure.
