The lady who serviced me today RUSHED through the entire process!! She barely let my nails dry or the gel set. She didn't properly let my feet dry so the polish on my big toe is smudged 😠 Also I wanted my eyebrows arched I was told Mindy would do them HOWEVER when I was led to the chair a man REEKING of cigarettes came from the back and attempted to arch my eyebrows but I said NO. He didn't wash his hands or ANYTHING and thought he was about to touch my face 😒 After about 10 minutes and when I went to the front to request a refund... here comes Mindy to do my eyebrows 😩 This wasn't my first time going here and each experience has had some type of "glitch" needless to say I won't be going back......... Very dirty from when I went years ago. The guy doing my pedicure used the towel that I had my feet on to wipe his own feet off. Kept watching the tv. Nasty ass place. And constantly talking in their language. Very rude!!! My 5 yr old niece could of massaged my feet better. Best thing they ever had was angel and Henry. I used to live in Cal City and Mindy was my nail shop. Even when I moved to Hyde Park, I took the drive back to Mindy. I am now a Atlanta resident and when I come home, I go to Mindy if I didn't make it to a shop before I left. I will admit, the shop is not as glamerous, organized and clean as it was years ago. As a matter of fact, I did not feel completely safe during my last pedicure. It could be because the shop I go to in ATL use liners in the pedicure bowel and I am used to that extra layer of protection from any fungus. Overall, I am still satisfied with the customers service. I love this place. As a male I was a bit nervous coming in to a nail shop because that's more for women when you're masculine. No offense to Asian nail techs but its always hard to speak with them because of the language barrier. The owner Mindy english is 100% clear and she's super nice. Ist and last time going to mindy nails, i went their on 12/04/2015.got my nails done use my Credit card,my bank alert my phone  like it always does when i use my card. could not look at my phone due getting my nails done.once i got a chance to look at my phone after i left the amount taken was $24.00!!! and that is not what i authorize.now i gave him $3 tip,now when i call and spoke with mindy all she could say to really a $1...thats what made me mad thats stealing if i didn't authorize you too take it.i dont care if it was 50cents  thats stealing she not one time apologize.so when i call my bank they said to me it was $24 taken out not $23 i will not be returning their i wonder how many people they have done this too and have gotten away with it.... Yes they do a nice job, but mindy the owner is rude and very sometime it. One day she is all smiles when you come back the next time she doesn't speak and rude! I will never go to Mindys again in life. I went there yesterday at 650 knowing they close at 8 & the door was locked and was shoo'd away by the employee. Very unprofessional. I was a regular customer at this nail salon, however it became apparent that the more frequent you come the less they care about customer service! The owner is extremely rude! I have had several situations where I was dissatisfied with my nails and also the customer service. They did a really great job. I got a pedicure and a full set. I like my pedicure the best as I am not really into false nails but I thought I needed a change. Hello, my fellow Yelpers. This is my first contribution to Yelp. First, this salon is great ! I came here three times and every time the service gets better. I am not really into trying new salons because I have been going to the same salon for years, but this one is a great substitute for me. I love their decor, people, and service. They do not rush and they even are great with the eyebrows(I've received many compliments)! Their prices are fair, but the best part is they ALWAYS ask what you want and do exactly what you asked them to do.
