I had a appointment and cancled and rescheduled the appointment for the next day at 12 I showed up and one of the nail artist yelled at me in front of everyone saying why didn’t you cancle your appointment...but I did and they countinued to yell at me as of something I did do and totaly embarrassed me I am never comeing back due to this disrespect. I rarely leave reviews, but this is one the worst no chips I've ever gotten. It chipped the next day. When I was getting it done, another lady came in complaining that she was sick of paying for a no chip when they never last, but at that point I was already in the middle of it. Called in for an appointment for my first visit and they took me the day of! I had no wait, even though this place is super busy most of the time. I got a nice manicure with Katie and she was very caring with my nails and massage. This place is clean too! They have two rooms so you don't feel too cramped with many people around. This is by far the worst nail place around.I have gone many times and have tried many different people.They are all the same: awful. Every single tech puts polish on but doesn't pay attention to the sides.I always have to point out the spots on the sides that they need to go over.Often they are rude to me after pointing this out.There is one man there in particular that is so bad, and sour faced I cant comprehend how he is still employed.Also, the massages they give are just plain irritating.  How does every tech give the same horrid massage?Do yourself a favor and find a different place. I just checked Yelp for a new place for myself and have already found multiple places that have many more stars and way better reviews than this joint! Read Less

Oh boy. I've been coming here for the past year, and normally it's fine. Today my thumb nails would not dry and had strange spots on them. After trying to fix them three times, I gave up and had to get going. I asked for a refund, and was told that I was not allowed back because I was difficult! I assured the woman that she had me confused with someone else, and that I had never complained EVER about anything. In truth, I really liked the people who did my nails, and was happy with the job they did. What you need to know is this: the owner is a mean, nasty, unfair woman who pretty much ruined my afternoon. You'll be fine here until something goes wrong. Then you'll be accused of something you didn't do, and kicked out. Stay away from Nails 2001. There are so many other deserving salons nearby that would never treat a good customer so poorly. Read Less

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! I made an appointment for gel nails, and the guy who was doing my nails suggested that I should use the dipping powder. Ok, I tried it. HE RUINED MY NAILS. He put on a coat so thick it took 30 minutes to take off, and my nails were so thin afterwards, I never wanted to get a manicure ever again. I've been getting my nails done here for almost 8 years now and I will remain a customer as long as they keep the doors open. I have never been able to find a salon that does pink and white nails as good as Nails 2001. Granted, I've been through my share of nail techs over the years, but nonetheless, I have never had a bad experience at this salon. The owner (Bobby) always greets me and the staff is very attentive and surprise, surprise, actually listens to what you ask for! Never once have I left this salon disappointed. Oh my....  what an incredibly awkward and unpleasant experience.  The salon seems to be run by several men, who were the crabbiest workers I've ever encountered at a spa.  The female tech who did my nails was great, but she would probably be beaten into submission if she dropped a file.     During my one and only visit, I saw one man chew a patron out for changing her mind about a color... really, two minutes into it.  Whereas my fave nail tech (elsewhere but far) would happily change and test colors with me.  Fine, he was annoyed, but he lectured her for 35 complete minutes about how she wasted his time, and time is money, really insulting her over and over for not understanding the complexities required to do nails, and blah blah blah ---35 minutes!! --- so not only did I feel horrible for this poor woman being endlessly chastised (I cannot believe she didn't walk out), but my precious "mini-escape" for relaxation time was anything but.    WE GOT IT in the first three sentences dude, I'm sure no one who was in the salon will ever change their mind about a color with you again.  Where did this relentless anger come from? Scary!   Another man seemed to take delight in insulting several customers... one game woman finally took him on and they bandied about, which was great, because it ended the awkward misery of watching him treat other women like crap.   And there's more! The guys made it VERY CLEAR they did not want to be there, they did not want to do nails, they all pointed at each other when a new customer walked in, and said out loud, in English, how much they did not want to do anyone's nails or take the next customer. What?  I don't love my job or all of my clients, but I sure as heck don't announce it to my co-workers and clients! It's called a job, not a yacht club, you get paid for it.  Seriously, at least in my world, busy professionals and parents go to the nail salon for a nice relaxing mini-escape...the ambience is key.  I don't need you to do my nails. I'm going for the experience and relaxation, and using rare free time to do so.   I feel very sorry for the female techs who are probably very good. I feel worse for the customers that end up here.     This should probably be a one-star review, but...I'm kind of scared of being hunted down if I give one star.  So one positive -- the place seemed clean... but don't go to relax! When your Nail tech says he won't do your nails again and you need to find somewhere else BELIEVE HIM!!!I've been going here since they opened but the fact he could say this to me means I won't be back.  And honestly, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out why this was even said.Though the salon is clean and the tools are sterilized between clients, the staff is pretty unfriendly.  They do their work but there is no chit chat. Been coming here for years, and I won't stop! I've had several people do my nails like Tammy, Tina, and Danielle, and they are all great. The staff do a great job applying color very clean and precise. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion only 43 bucks for a classic manicure and pedicure. I also likehow there're different services for pedicures like a signature pedicure offers a hot stone massage for your feet. Great place!came in for gels and had a very wonderful nail experience. Was taken quickly, the gent who did my nails was gentle, quick and precise. They use great quality powder and he was even able to suggest the pink color for my French. Very nice to have a knowledgable nail technician.
