Warning!  The pedi bowls are not cleaned after each use.  I watched 5 people being put in stations after they were used and not cleaned.  Health department needs to be notified.    Also, there is no ventilation here, the smell is overpowering and cannot be healthy. Read Less

This is just a cheap place to get your nails done, often you feel like you're on an assembly line for nail artistry!! The chairs are not comfortable for longer nail services (seriously, anything longer than 30 mins). They always try to upsell, which sometimes is okay but they've been rude at times. As much as I like them I will be going to a smaller salon from now on. The last time I went, the nail tech recommended a cut that I knew wasn't good for the length my natural nails were at the time and guess what? 2 of my nails broke that same day. It's a good place for cheap nail services, that's it. This is my home town favorite salon. Right by the Khol's shopping center. If you have a wait time you have something to do! When you get seated they will ask what you were looking for then bring you color choices. The prices are reasonable and all of the employees do a great job. I have been going here for about two years and only have been disappointed a handful of times (No one is perfect). We are in from outta town for our daughters wedding. Went with her to get nails done along with bridal party.  She is only one to get into appointment. Other girls had to go elsewhere. Didnt greet me or my mother, (not professional at all). Split my daughters finger open with dremel tool they use (bloody). Rough handled her so putting simple french tips on, all her fingers really sore.  Not impressed with mass, rushed,buffet style nail service. Like fast food speed for nails. Take your money and run! Horrible my child could do a better job. 30.00 for a reg pedi. After I told them reg pedi he set the timer and was painting toes in less then 10 minutes. Nails and cuticles were not cut ran a file over some nails and ran buffer over bottom of feet. Nails are uneven looks like 2 different feet and painting looks like they were done by a 2 yr old. This is the 4th time I have tried them and all 4 times they have been bad. I always go when they are slow as not to get a half a_ _ job and still. Should only charge 10.00 for this kind of service. I come here all of the time for my nails, and will continue to do so even though they're decently expensive. However I tried to eye lash extensions here and they're horrible. I went Thursday. Went back Friday to get them fixed because they were crooked and now it's Monday and they're falling off. I'll be going back to get the removed and go to a new location. Edit* I have now been told there's no refund for the lashes that have lasted me 4 days. I was told prior they last 4-6 weeks. And now am being told 2 weeks. So I can't get a refund. I've been going here weekly for my nails and was going to try my lashes there too. Since they're being so unreasonable with this I am switching all together. I'm a college student and usually get my nails done at home at higher quality salons, but I needed a couple acrylic nails replaced and a fill. The guy who replaced them didn't apply them correctly, so two of my nails are crooked and flipping up, and frankly it's painful. It's been one week since I got a no chip fill and one of my nails has broken off, another is in the process of breaking off, and the others are chipping. Like I said I'm just a college student and I'm not doing a ton of work with my hands so it's unacceptable that they are like this. I had made an appointment but apparently that doesn't matter there, and if a customer they like comes in, they will take them before you. The tools were also very dirty and smelled awful. I've been here twice and the first time wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything special. Today, I went there for a mani pedi and it is worst mani/pedi I have ever had. The polish used for my toes was too thick and she just globbed it on, so when she applied the top coat it all slid off. I could have done a nicer pedi myself. The mani isn't bad but she did not apply enough top coat so I can feel a piece of glitter when I touch the nail. Not at all pleased, since it cost me $65. I likely won't return. Read Less

This was my FIRST time here, I just moved to Kankakee. They did a good job on the actual structure of my nails, they're people skills were HORRIBLE! They charge EXTRA to polish my nails. I sat here and watched everyone around me get offered a beverage, NOT ONCE did they ask me. I paid $45 buck for s pedi which the young lady only massage my feet ALL because I told her I don't do the razor thing on my feet 😟. SAD to say I won't be back. My first visit to this salon. Went on a Saturday, so it was super busy. We were told it would be an hour, so we put our names on the list, and left. After about 50 minutes we returned. But was told it was going to be another half hour. I would of given up, but my daughter's were so excited about getting their nails done. We left again, since it was standing room only in the tiny waiting area. Well, upon our return, we were told to pick out colors of polish, from the bottleservice on the wall.   The smell of chemicals is super strong, my one daughters eyes began to water, and she had to ask for a paper mask. We were led to the back for pedicures, they have these big comfy lazy boy chairs, that massage you, Heaven!  The chemical smell is not as intense here. Their foot soaker is like mini hot tub for feet, with colored lights, and water jets, but the water was lukewarm. It could of been a bit warmer. My attendant, was not very friendly, barely said a word, she would just tap my foot, or motion to me. Plus, she was wearing a paper mask. My daughters had a ltitle better attendants. I thought perhaps it was the language barrier, but when she asked me to pay, before the manicure, there seemed to be none! WATCH OUR HERE...You are shown a menu with choices and prices, I am sure a basic mani/pedi was $30, but when they wrote the tickets for me and the girls, the price had jumped to $40! I THINK I WAS OVERCHARGED! Since it's noisey, and busy, I just kinda went with it, but later at home when I began to think about it, that's when it hit me. Overall, they did a good job, I can say they take in more people than they can comfortably accommodate, they were squeezing us in like sardines, at the drying bar. Nobody tells you when it's time to leave, or checks your nails for drying, so you kinda show yourself out. It seems to be a very popular place, one woman told me it's the best she's found, and drives forty minutes to come there. My advice is to not go on Saturday afternoons, and watch what they are charging you. I do plan on returning, but I am the wiser, and will dispute it if I feel they are overcharging me from what the menu says. That is considered consumer fraud, or deceptive practices. Read Less

I have been going to this place to get my nails done for a little over a year now and up to this week I have had no complaints. However, my past experience may be my last at this salon. Earlier this week I went to get my nails done for wedding showers I will be attending this weekend. While I was there I was asked if I would like to get my eyebrows cleaned up. It had been awhile since my last eye brow waxing so I agreed. I was taken to the side room to receive my EYEBROW waxing and while sitting in the chair the lady waxing put wax on my upper lip before I could correct her. After I told her I just wanted my eyebrows done she ignored my request and continued to wax my cheek (which I have never heard of) and my chin area. At the time I was annoyed but figured to let it go because she may not have understood me. The next morning I woke up completely broken out around my mouth, on my cheeks and chin. To make matters worse when she went to do my eyebrows she needed to pluck a hair that the wax did not get. Instead of plucking the hair she pinched my skin and made me bleed which left a gross scab above my eyebrow. Also, when I got home I realized that she had gotten wax onto my favorite jacket. If you are going to get a wax at this location please reconsider. You will pay $35 dollars for your face to be broken out and for wax on your jacket. I have had my nails done here many times by many different manicurist, until I found one I liked. For 5 months it was trial and error. They seem to really push the no chip manicure as a posed to the regular manicure. The no chip is more expensive, as to be expected. But when you insist on a regular they do a hack job. The pedicures are nice but it takes forever. As of recently if you get a no chip pedi and mani you could be there for 3 to 4 hours. Now a days no one has that kind of time. I received a gift cert. from my husband it was enough for two Mani/pedis. Amazingly when I called ahead to request a certain manicurist I was told he was busy. I was give someone else and asked how I would be paying. When I arrived my normal manicurist went to seat me J explained I was told he was busy and I was to see someone else. The woman came out they exchanged words and she did my nails. Amazingly the price came out to be the exact amount of my gift cert. I questioned how this could be and she got rude. I explained that I have never paid this much and it seems to be double the regular price. I was told she charges more and the prices in the brochure are a starting point. Which is fine and understandable. But it seemed convenient and felt like I was being ripped off. Needless to say the mani/pedi did not look as nice as it normally does. I found out from talking to others my experience is not uncommon, it has happened to a few others. Something that started off so positive turned sour quick. Greed seems to have taken over.
